Overall Rating:

Stayed for 8 nights, close proximity to downtown Nashville, Grand Ole Opry can't be beat. Third-party shuttle service provides quick and easy access to downtown for a very reasonable price. Sites are close together, no fire pits (bring your own is allowed), pool is very clean, little to no noise because everyone is out doing their Nashville thing. Would definitely return. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Opry Mills Mall a short distance away, next to Grand Ole Opry and Gaylord Opryland Resort. It's worth a visit to the resort just to walk around inside - it's truly one of the nicest resorts anywhere (have stayed there before). Tip - don't pay the $29 to park in their parking lot - park at the Opry Mills Mall and take the short walking path back to the resort.

Stayed two nights. Site was level, WiFi good, water pressure a little low but tolerable. Front office extremely helpful. Set up a tour for me and lots of good advice. The pool must be good - always crowded. store well stocked. Tour trolley picks up out front ad does two different shuttles into town for a very reasonable price. Spaces are wide, grass between. Very clean and well attended. I'd do it again if I hit Nashville. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

I asked te front desk for a rib place in the area. She recommended a couple. I picked Scoreboard and am glad I did. Not fancy, but the food in great! The Old Town Trolley is a hop-on, hop-off type of tour bus. The pick you up at the CG and return you later in the day, no charge. Their 15 stop tour covers just about everything and you can explore all you want, then pick up another trolley for the next stop..

Overall this was a nice park. Well kept and friendly staff. 30amp electric was a bit of a pain and though we were careful we did trip the breaker a few times. We were there for 6 nights in a 5th wheel. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Site 700 is by dump station and it smelled! Couldn't sit outside. There is a wonderful dog park about five minutes from the park. Two Rivers Dog Park was clean and spacious. Highly recommend it if you are traveling with a dog that needs to run a bit! Downtown we loved Roberts Western World. It was recommended by a friend and was the best "downtown " music we heard!

Overall Rating:

Let me say up front that we don't choose Campgrounds as destinations, we use them as a base to visit areas we want to see. So location and safety are priority and they seem to run hand in hand. When we find an area we want to stay in we want a park that has good people to work with, stable electric. The site can be leveled if it's not too terrible, we fill our water tank and use our pump because water pressure is often not consistent, we have extra data in case the WiFi is poor. Two rivers campground is clean, safe, in good location to visit Nashville, and has excellent People!! We didn't have to level our site, the WiFi worked well for us, and we didn't use any data. The water pressure looked a little low but we always fill our fresh tank and use our own pump, so I don't really know. We don't try to use anyone's cable if there is good over the air reception and being this close to Nashville you get good OVA reception. We believe Two Rivers is just the type of Campground we always look for, and there were bonuses too, like a well stocked camp store, entertainers playing on the back porch nearly every night for tips. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are restaurants and entertainment less than a mile from the campground. There are a couple of shuttle companies that will take you downtown for $20 round trip. The shuttles are suppose to run at the top or the bottom of the hour but often run late so you have to allow for that. Uber is about $15 one way, but of course more consistent and the take you where you want to go and pick you up where you are when you want to come back. The shuttles have a single drop off and pick up spot, so you have a little more walking to do but you save $10 on a round trip not counting any tips you may wish to give.

The Music of Nashville show at the Texas Troubadour Theatre was very good and the office can set it up with a little discount as well. It's only a mile down the road. The Rolling Music Jamboree was a lot of fun and we would do that again in a minute. The Hermitage was very interesting and about 20-30 minutes away.

Obviously this review is based on our personal experience. We made reservations a few months ago. They placed us in the back of the property in an area where monthly reservations reside. Was told the park was totally full, which was clearly not the case. Although WiFi is advertised (needed for work), our site was too far away from any repeaters to connect. I had to spend my day at McDonald's to get work done. Staff was rude and condescending. When I mentioned the issues with the WiFi, staff said that the service was free and that I could go somewhere else and pay for better WiFi. To be fair, sites closer to the front of the park were nicer and would probably have not had the internet access issues. Based on our site, no access to WiFi, and terrible staff, we would DEFINITELY NOT stay at this campground again. There are other parks next door. As a matter of fact, I at least had signal from their Internet repeaters. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

This park was really fun and worked out well for access to downtown. The park is well maintained. A very well stocked store with the majority of what you may need. We got to enjoy some really good live music at the campground. Bath house/laundry is well maintained and updated. Each site has a concrete pad with a picnic table although you park on gravel. We will certainly be back. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Travel Trailer.

There a couple of different shuttles that will pick you up at the park and deliver you downtown for a fee. Well worth it. It is right next door to a Camping World with a local RV store on the other side. Pretty convenient should you need something.

Campground roads and sites easy to navigate. Both are packed gravel, but not quite level, as many units, including ours, required blocking to get level. Campground power layout a bit different here, as circuit breakers are not on site pedestals, but instead in a few scattered centralized stations. Some, like ours, were in a locked room in a building, and would have required us to call emergency number after hours if our site breaker tripped. Fortunately, we did not need to due to careful power management. On plus side, as most sites are only 30A, staff took great care to point this out upon check-in, including providing a helpful piece of paper listing typical amperage draws of RV equipment to help guests avoid tripping the site breaker...pretty important as we had a string of 90F plus days while here. Utility hook ups are at far rear of site and required 25 feet of sewer hose to reach, so be aware and prepared. Site and campground power was stable for 3 nights and Verizon signal was strong due to being in city limits. Park was clean and well maintained with clean bathroom, shower, laundry, and pool. There was more space between sites than we expected and we were able to open awning for shade over our little patch of grass, concrete patio and picnic table. No fire rings. Barely room to squeeze truck in front of RV along park road. Campground is just off major highway which was convenient for access, but carried drawback of constant and significant highway noise. Campground brought in free (country) music acts for 2 of our 3 nights which was nice perk, except for the political posturing expressed by the artists...hard to avoid these days. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

So much to do in Nashville - hardly need any tips. Andrew Jackson's Hermitage historic site was worth the 20 minute trip and $20/pp cost to us. You can easily spend 3-4 hours there.

Stayed three nights. Chose campground due to proximity to Nashville and availability of $10 shuttle to/from Nashville. On a road with 4 other campgrounds, and 2 major RV dealers. Sites are level and tight but manageable. Interior roads head resurfacing. Lots of rain and huge puddles. Free music every night. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Two Rivers for a week in a 39' motorhome, with a tow vehicle. We expected from the reviews/rating and the location near Opryland, that we were going to be at a verily nice park. Not so much. It is a no frills place to park to see Nashville if you dare venture out (TRAFFIC!!). They advertise WiFi, barely if at all. They offer cable - sketchy. We had to use antenna for CBS. But the worse thing of all was NO WATER PRESSURE!! Most folks in a Class A take showers in their 'home' and most have washers/dryers, so they don't have to use the facilities. At Two Rivers this is a hit and miss adventure. At times barely enough to wash your hands, much less take a full shower, forget doing laundry. We were told pressure was average 40, but averaged 30-35. So be warned...maybe okay for a couple of nights, but not more. Two Rivers has the potential to be a very nice park, they just haven't opted to keep up with the times and the growing expectations of modern RVers. Won't be back :( We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Little confusing coming in I-40 from the West with the freeway system but at least you pass the campground from the freeway and can see where you're going to end up! We got a call from them about 3:00 pm confirming we'd be arriving before the office closed at 5 pm or else they'd explain their night arrival instructions. Check-in was smooth & thorough, directions to campsite clear. Campsite access more than adequate with good access to back in. Very helpful friendly & staff. The Station Inn for blue grass music is fantastic and parking is near. Walking in Shelly Bottom and in Two Rivers park lovely. A visit Franklin which is lovely town. Jack Daniels Distillery is 1.5hrs away and worth the drive. Plus all the other things Nashville is famous for. Book Opry ahead by months and anyone else you may want to see.

The park is a little tight to get in to but worth it. We backed into our site which was no problem. The space between sites is on the narrow side but didn't bother us at all. Grand Ol Oprey is very close by. Buys tickets in advance as it can sell out. Downtown Nashville is about 15 minutes away and parking is around 20.00 for the day. There is a lot to see downtown like Broadway for bars and live music, the Country Music Hall of Fame (which is a lot to see) and the Ryman Theatre. A must see for all of these. If you have time go to see the Belle Mead Plantation.
