Great place! Spacious sites with full hook-ups. Plenty of room to park your ATV toys. Camped here for several nights to ride the trails. There's an ATV trail from the campground to the General Store, or you can take the paved road to the trail head. Good gravel roads in the CG and level sites. Cabin rentals are also on the property. Super friendly folks at the office and General Store. If you don't have an ATV you can rent one here. Buy the $5 trail map because the park is huge! Campground is only a few miles away from Oak Ridge which has all the big stores (Walmart, Kroger) and lots of restaurant choices. Advance camping reservations will be needed as this park has limited sites and fills up quickly, especially on the weekends. Have fun on the trails! We camped at Windrock Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a great place to stay if your wanting to ride off road vehicles from your site into the Wind Rock OHV park. Grounds are clean but there is no shade unless your in a tent spot. Good water, electric and sewer hook ups. Grave pad with concrete patio. Friendly staff. The bath house needs AC was always very hot and humid inside. We camped at Windrock Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a park set up for and catering to ATV riders. Some prefer to ride during the day, and some at night. There is noise from ATVs at all hours but it wasn't overwhelming. You will need to purchase trail passes as well. Security checks you daily for passes & ensure you don't have alcohol in your coolers on the trails. Site A1 was slightly unlevel and required multiple blocks front and drivers sides - I noticed most TT, 5th wheels or MoHo used multiple blocks to level around the park. ALL that being said, if you're going riding, this is the place to stay. Plenty of room for 36' MoHo towing ATV trailer. Sites have plenty of space between them for additional tent canopy even with 4 slides out. Each site has a concrete pad next to gravel parking place with new picnic table and metal fire ring (with grill that you can use or swing out of the way). At the front of each site is an enclosed trash can. Excellent water pressure and solid 50 amp power. Park was approx 75% full while we were there. They also rent cabins if you have family that wants to stay and ride with you. Check-in was quick and easy. Firewood delivery available and was plentiful. Bath house available but we didn't use. General Store open 8:30-5:30 is well-stocked, catering to the riding crowd. Fuel station is open 24 hours. Note: the access road to the campground is steep and twisty - we stayed in 1st gear the entire time. Also, don't follow your phone directions that tell you to turn at the light and wind through the neighborhood. Turn on Windrock Rd then Windrock Park Lane and follow signs to Campground. We camped at Windrock Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful setting but very neglected. Needs mowin, weed whipping, weeds sprayed. Picnic tables may make good firewood. With some hard work and TLC it could be beautiful. Right now not so much. We camped at Windrock Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is our second stay at this park as we have a toy hauler and ride ATV's. The access to the 72,000 acres it very convenient. The park has become a bit worn and the staff has not kept up with general maintenance since out last stay two years ago. The rest rooms were not clean on this trip and the showers were so so. I would stay here again only becasue of the great off road riding the park has. We camped at Windrock Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here so we could ride our ATV's and it was a wonderful five day stay. Sites have plenty of room between. Grounds well kept and clean. Front office folks very friendly and helpful. Only negative was the restrooms that have no A/C so it gets hot. Would stay here again. We camped at Windrock Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Stayed for a short week between Christmas and New Years, our 5th time on an ATV ride, once again had a great time. We'd read there was another campground nearby and thought we'd check into it, but found this one is MUCH cheaper than the others, our $30 flat rate included tax (another place nearby quoted us $48 + tax!). Plus we love the manager, she is so funny and helpful plus watches out for us and our gear. She's most of the reason we love staying there and keep going back. The bathhouse was clean as could be expected for an ATV campground (lots of muddy boots here) showers were very hot as usual, we used them a lot. It was COLD there, and lots of snow up high which made for good riding. While 4-wheeling at Windrock / Coal Creek trails we wouldn't stay anywhere else, and we will stay there again. We camped at Windrock Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We visited here again in June, a 2nd trip. We also came last year for the weekend. This is the place to stay to ride quads, dirt-bikes, or jeeps. The trails are fantastic, it's like 70,000 acres of property with hundreds of miles of trails. We stayed at Windrock Campground for 3 days and had a fantastic time. The people here were great, managers are the best! I'm a light sleeper, but we didn't get awakened a single time here. This place is not a KOA, but is very, very clean. They have a great bathhouse with hot showers. The kids loved the campfires: we had smores every night. I will definitely stay here again. Next time we're staying a week!!! We camped at Windrock Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great back country park for people (like us) who ride dirt bikes and four-wheelers on Windrock Mountain, East Tennessee. We really like it cause we can ride straight up to the trails w/o having to load the bikes on a trailer. The people there are real nice, but even so they strictly enforce the quiet hours, and won't tolerate rowdy behavior - which we're thankful for. Nice hot showers and they allow campfires too, great after a long day of riding. This is a great place to stay with kids who ride. We camped at Windrock Park Campground in a Motorhome.
