The RV sites are so close that our RV slide almost touched the awning of the camper behind us. No room to park your truck without it sticking out in the road slightly. Other campers were having to have other people move their trucks or golf carts just so they could pull out to leave. Also, manager was very rude. And many kids were running around lawless without parents watching them. The campground did not enforce their own rules. Would advise others to pay the extra to stay at a nicer campground. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Third time here. Best CG we've found in Pigeon Forge. Quiet, well kept. Pigeon Forge Trolley stops in CG. Very busy this weekend because of Rod Run in town so well planned reservations are recommended during events. Close to main strip in town. Add about $2-3 per night for local taxes. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Pigeon Forge is full of touristy type of things and shopping. Traffic is usually bumper to bumper so allow extra time for navigating through the Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg area.

Crowded when we were there. Leaf Peepers in the Smokey Mountans I think. In calling around for reservation, Clabough's had the only open spot I found in Pigeon Forge. Not the spot I wanted but OK anyhow. Have stayed there before and liked it better because of site location. We were in a permanent resident section this trip. Staff was helpful and friendly. One of the workers even offered to take me around CG in his golf cart as I searched for a specific item. Site parking was tight for tow vehicle, had to be very careful to get pickup off the road. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg & Sevierville are always bad for traffic, Mid-October seems to we even worse because of people looking for turning leaves. We went to Dixie Stampede first time in many years. Good show, great food. Had a 6 scoop banana split at Mel's Diner on Wears Valley Road. it fed 4 people. Was good. "The Island" in Pigeon Forge is mostly tourist trap type shops but the Dancing Waters fountain was spectacular.

I have mixed feelings about this park. This would have been a 4/10 if it were not for amenities. I'm going to give it one more try and pick another site. PRO: Very reasonable price for full hookup including cable,; lots of amenities (3 pools, arcade, playground) and good for families of all ages; excellent placement in middle of Pigeon Forge strip but away from noise and traffic; clean bathrooms; convenient store that is not overpriced with some useful RV stuff as well. CON: Wi-Fi barely worked if it did at all; runoff is a problem here (your site could be a river if it rains); front staff not so friendly; sites are very hit and miss - too small, bad condition, no firepit, unable to open awning. Pools were not that clean. BIG CON: I don't mind permanent residents but there were A LOT here. When you can have window A/C units hanging out, permanent rubber sheds attached to your RV, large wooden decks, full size fridges outside your RV, and run down RVs not kept up - it takes away the camping feeling. We are going to try one more time in a different site to see if we have a better experience. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I know the campgrounds in the area are all crowded with little space, but this is unlike any campground we have ever been in. We make yearly trips to the area, but this is the first time we have ever stayed in this particular campground. To say it was crowded is a huge understatement. The spaces were cramped with many sites having permanent storage units and other structures. Golf carts were everywhere! Never, never again! We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is the best campground that we've ever stayed at. They have so much to offer. They have two swimming pools and a lazy river that is included at no extra charge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a store and deli. Also have an ice cream shop. They have a well stocked rv supply section. If you need help with your camper their staff is willing to help you fix it. They are very knowledgeable. There is also a creek for fishing. The facilities were very clean. They have on site laundry. You can even rent a golfcart by the day or week. We rented a golf cart and picked it up at the store. They have nice cabins to rent also. The sites were spacious. I definitely plan to stay there again. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

My spot had a picnic table and there was a nice creek across the road from my site Pull through gravel site. I needed one board to level side to side. The access roads are good. Cable and free WI-FI work well. Many trees, but they are trimmed not to interfere with the sites. Lots of rain but the sites drained pretty well. Staff was very friendly. I was unable to leave my truck hooked up to my vehicle and still fit into the site. I had to park my truck at almost 90 degrees to the trailer to fit in my spot. Spent four nights and was mostly pleased. Sites are cramped, but actually about par for the Pigeon Forge area. Needed a little hands on supervision/application for the many rules listed. Lots of barking dogs and late night noise went apparently unchecked. Grounds were mostly well kept and location was great being close to strip and activities in area. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Sites are on the tight side. Staff isn't the greatest. Clean facilities. Has a small store/deli. Store was pricey but better than fighting the traffic. We had a loud neighbor otherwise this is a nice park!!! We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

When we arrived to this campground we were greeted by numerous hungry ducks. The campsites were very close together. The lazy river was the best feature at this campground. Please don't forget your bug spray!! Bathrooms were very clean. The staff members weren't very friendly. I will not stay at this campground again. Photos on the website are all from the "long-term" section, not at all what we found in the short-term section. Sites are small, pack-and-stack, and very hard to access. Bathroom/shower in short-term was filthy; one of the shower stalls had no bench, hooks, etc., so the only place to put your things was the dirty floor; smoking in the bathroom isn't discouraged. The facilities in long-term were very nice and much cleaner, but venturing there got us dirty looks from the long-term campers. The pool is large and fairly clean but crowded; other campers seemed to have no courtesy for others--excessive horseplay, PDAs which weren't really appropriate around children. Most of the staff wasn't rude (one was). but also wasn't helpful. It's probably a step above staying in the Wal-mart parking lot, I can't imagine actually paying money to ever to back. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

First time here, and not very impressed. Sites are very close together, and had to really position camper just right to able to open awning. If our camper had slides, we would not have been able to use them the way the trees are positioned. Our site was long enough to have our camper in it (26') and had to park truck sideways in driveway/grass. There is a playground advertised, but none here. Heard that they tore it out very recently to do some renovations, but we were not told about it. With two little ones, this is very important to us and really wish they had mentioned it. Wi-Fi depends on where you are. We were in D133 and were told that the Wi-Fi doesn't work "in the back" for unknown reason. It will work sitting in front of the office. Our site was pretty unlevel, but not terrible. It was ok, but next time will try Pine Mountain, Riverbend, or River Plantation. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is not an awful campground, but could be much better. I think maybe the owners have just neglected the sites for a few years. The sites are small and offer a little patch of grass. However in most cases the grass is dirt or mud and fire rings are missing from many sites. The sites were gravel at one time but most of that is gone. My site was pretty much dirt. The overall appearance is best described as kind of shabby. The good things would be the location. Very near the main road in Pigeon Forge. Plus the trolley service actually stops inside the campground. The roads are paved which is nice for bike riding. Just wish the sites were better maintained. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Travel Trailer.
