Spent July 5 - 10 her while visiting the surrounding area. Creekside was very close to where we needed to go and very convenient discounting the hideous traffic of Pigeon Forge. Our campsite was number 27 which was creek side, while there were no trees on the lot it was partially shaded from surrounding tees on the other lot. Site (27) was a little narrow and just long enough for our 5th (42ft). We were backed in far enough we did not have to disconnect but we did. Electrical Cable, and water hook-ups are at the front of the lot with sewer being toward the back. Had just enough electrical cable to connect without issues. We did have to supply our own barrel connector for the Cable TV. Daily duck parade 4 times a day. Site was just across from the trolley stop. Site has a slight slope front to back. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at this park before and the Wi-Fi has been greatly improved, it works very well. The roads are asphalt and sites are crushed stone. Each site is level and has a concrete patio. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and the laundry is extremely clean. The whole campground is clean. The creek is pretty and has ducks. There is a street light to get you on Wares Valley Road and another to get you into the heavy traffic on the main drag through town. Those street lights are a valuable resource in this buy tourist town. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Creekside RV Resort is about a mile off the main drag in Pigeon Forge, so you're close enough to everything, but have a bit of country around to relax. The park is not huge and situated on Walden Creek. Unfortunately (for us) the Creekside part is mainly set up for small 30amp campers. The larger rigs are put in the middle, or like us on the road perimeter. Our site backed up to the main road and was noisy. The spaces are fairly well sized, but on the short side, so with our 38' TT backed up to the fence, we had to park our truck at an angle to get it off the road. Sites on that part of the property all seem to slant downhill back to front. We saw a Class C a couple doors down with 6" of legos under the front wheels! Staff at the park are super friendly. The nice lady at checkin gave me several local coupon books and maps and was happy to give directions to local attractions. A municipal trolley serving the tourist sites actually makes a loop thru the park every hour and for 50 cents you can catch a ride to Dollywood. The bathrooms and showers were fine. Water and power fine, but sewer outlet was in back of site which required 20' of hose and runs uphill. Emptying tanks required much manual manipulation of the hoses to clear the stuff. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Did the Smoky Mountain Wine Trail...Five wineries all owned by the same parent organization, but fun and different places. Wine? There ARE grapes involved...in a few offerings. But the fun here is the other tastes the have. Rhubarb, blackberry, blueberry, apple wine. Ciders. Moonshine and whiskey. They taste fast and furious...no volatizing the esters here.

About 3/4 mile to the main road with all the attractions. Be careful with GPS directions, you may get sent down a very small road. Directions given when I made reservation were perfect.

Sites are tight, especially along the creek. Bath house and laundry are air conditioned and clean. Pool area is nice. Pool is a salt water pool. Sites were level with concrete pad, picnic table, and fire ring. Less than 2 minute drive to "The Island". Good dog walking grass along most of the creek. 112 FHU sites some 30/50amp some only 30 amp, WIFI & cable, roomy gravel sites with concrete patio & picnic table, there is grass around, clean pk, laundry room. A quiet pk, we were in the back on site #89 there is less traffic in the back section. It is outside of town but close enough to town, Smokey Mnts & the attractions in area. 50 amp rate is $38. They are a PA pk so we got the PA rate for 3 nts & the rest at the GS disc since they are also a GS pk. We stayed here 10 days July 30th - Aug 9th We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Level sites but tight for our big rig. Many seasonal residents here. Close to the attractions. Poor wifi. Huge daily swings in water pressure from 40-80psi throughout our two week stay. One of the seasonal residents says its normal especially when they fill the pool. The dog walk area is down a hillside which can be tricky when wet. There is also no way to get to it without crossing through a campsite. Our site was lower than most as it flooded when it rained, which it did almost everyday. The water would subside and it was usable until the next rain. We did not want to move so we just dealt with it and reported it to the office at checkout. The park was clean and trash frequently emptied. pool was clean and nice. Did not use bathhouse or laundry but both seemed good. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We had never been to Pigeon Forge and did not realize it was just a smaller version of Orlando. We are from Florida and are simply tired of the tourist trap thing. That said, we did have fun at the Hatfield and McCoy theater. We also had fun at the River Rat tubing in Townsend. The National Park was excellent including the Cades Cove drive.

We have stayed weekly every year since we bought our first RV in 2004. Staff is friendly, ready to make you feel comfortable. Easy access to trolley service for Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We will be staying here again soon. Only downfall is weak wifi but we go for the National Park and nature so we are completely satisfied. Great park to visit!!!! The roads are asphalt and sites are crushed stone. Each site has a concrete patio with picnic table and fire ring, if requested. All sites are full hook up. Many of the 20 amp receptacles are out and they stated they are not replacing them. Cable is great but Wifi is weak. Creekside is a small campground and little tight for the larger Motorhomes, but there were some there. There are only about six pull-through sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Traffic is horrible on the main street though town, but the red light helps you get in the flow easier. This campground is close to all Smoky Mountain attractions. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The NP is beautiful and a slow drive can produce good views of wildlife. If you like kids attractions, bring lots of money, there are many there. We like the Country Tonight Show, the Alpine Coaster at Goat Hill on Wares Ferry Road, Dixie Stampede, Dollywood, and the kids loved Magiquest a computer game structure you walk through and meet dragons and wizards.

Loved the location, right in the middle of everything. Lots are decent size and have a slab for table. We had a site back to the creek so that was nice.

The only thing is that people would come to the back of our lot to go down to the creek, so we didn't really like this. There is not really any specific place to get to it. Enjoyed the ducks. Would definitely return. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very small spaces. Lots of traffic in the park. Trolly comes through several times a day. I worry about children on bikes. Not dog friendly. You have to walk through camping sites to access the dog walk area. I can't recommend the park for either overnight or long stays. The small sites make sitting outside impossible. Friendly staff. When our cable TV wasn't working, they came right out. Nice level spots. Sewer hookup is at the back of the site. Make sure you have enough hose. If you are using GPS to get there, I suggest check a map or call the campground. I went through a pretty tight road by following GPS, and there was a much more camper friendly route. Stayed at Creekside while attending Wilderness Wildlife Week. Very quiet location, paved roads, gravel sites each with a concrete patio. Restrooms and showers very clean. Local trolley runs through campground providing transportation to locations in Pigeon Forge. Extremely convenient to LeConte Center and other Pigeon Forge locations. WiFi was very slow in the evenings. Price reflect PA for 3 days, regular rate for 1 day. We would definitely return to Creekside. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
