My family and I just spent 10 days at Pine Mountain RV Park. Only site 1,3 and 10 were available when I made the reservations. Site 10 was really nice, of course all sites have concrete pads and patio's as well as asphalt roads throughout. We had a really nice shade tree just a few feet away from the back of our camper and we really enjoyed because it was the only shade we had. Unfortunately, some of the other campers liked it too because that's where they walked their dogs. Just a few feet from the back of our camper. Really ? So much for respecting other peoples campsite's. Especially when there was a huge yard behind the tree. Not to mention the fact that the people that were using the back of our camper to walk their dogs, had their own yard and trees. Anyway, camp ground was great, clean and very well kept. Not once did I find the bathrooms or showers dirty. The interior roads are a little narrow especially if your in a big coach. And there were several there. We would definitely stay here again but I would try to get site 41 or 42. Those are awesome. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

What a delightful place to stay! We had not been to Smoky Mountain National Park in many years and decided to make a trip early this summer (May 2018). There are several parks in the area and choosing was somewhat difficult. We are very glad to have found Pine Mountain RV Park and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The park is very clean, appears to be quite new, has a fantastic location, is easy to find and navigate through, and has a nice list of amenities. As a home base to explore the national park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg we could not have asked for better. We also appreciated the fact that while the location is convenient it is just far enough (perhaps 1/4 mile) off of the main roadway that it was very calm, peaceful, and quiet. All welcome after a day of bustle and tourist traffic. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

So much to do in the area. We loved hiking in Smoky Mountain National Park. Some of the best hikes we have done in the eastern US. Make sure to do the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail. A beautiful and exciting driving tour through the park. Very scenic and relaxing.

A nice and quiet RV park located just a few blocks off the main road with all of the activities in Pigeon Forge. The park is mostly back in sites with a center section of smaller pull through sites. The sites are asphalt and we had just enough length for our rig and our Jeep. The park has the standard amenities of laundry, bathrooms and showers located near the nice pool. The wifi worked well for us during our stay. See our full reviews and pictures at our blog at thegilliamsisland. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great park. Interior roads are paved, sites are concrete pad. Not real spacious sites but there is shrubbery between sites. Bathhouse is very nice. The distance from Pigeon Forge is not far but far enough to be quiet. Put your garbage out in the AM and it will be picked up around 9:30 or so. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Extremely nice RV park. Our site was concrete pull thru with asphalt apron and very level. All utilities were easy to access and in great conditions. Sites are fairly close together , but they had done good job with vegetation to give some privacy. Easy check-in process with friendly staff. The park is only 1/2 mile from the parkway which puts it close to the action, but far enough away to seem peaceful and quiet. They have a nice splash pool, but not many other activities for kids, so if that is what you are looking for there may be better choices. Super nice and clean bathrooms. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Large, level concrete pad to park on. Close to parkway, but no traffic noise. Staff was very nice. Associated with hotel across street where you can use the indoor pool and hot tub. Very nice! Large concrete pad with patio, fire ring, picnic table. Well lighted, mostly level, super clean park. Close to everything, but far enough off of the parkway that the noise level doesn't disturb you. The staff are great and an added bonus is that you can use the indoor pool and hot tub at the motel across the street. The wifi was great! This site is right by an access point, so the service was fast and consistent. They are a Good Sam park, so you can also get a discount. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

None of the parks in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg are even close to Pine Mountain because Pine Mountain is by far the number one best park. They need to use Pine Mountain as the model for all the others and they need desperately to clean up most of the parks here. We have stayed in most of the parks in Pigeon Forge but now we only stay at Pine Mountain.

Don't worry about what site number to get because they are all great sites, the back row is on a creek if that is what you like and they are all back-in. This is the best park for getting away from all the Parkway noise but is centrally located, best location in Pigeon Forge, just turn at Red-light #6 and go about 1/2 mile and its on the left. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful campground. Immaculate, helpful staff, spacious concrete drives and site. Easy big rig access and off the main drag so it's very quiet. Verizon worked fine. OK water pressure. This is a very nice park. One of the cleanest CG we've been too. It was an ideal location for our trip. The Pigeon Forge strip was easily accessible, but thankfully we were not on the strip like other CG's. It was also an easy drive to access points for the National Park. The pool was nice, but small. They do give you access to the hotel pool across the street. The staff at the desk could maybe have been a little more friendly, but overall this was a great little CG. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a trolley that runs thru Pigeon Forge & Gatlinberg. It swings by the CG about every 20mins. Although convenient and cheap it is also very slow. We killed 2 hours trying to get to one of our destinations. Finally rented a car.

Maybe one of the best campgrounds we have ever visited. All paved sites, paved roads, grass everywhere there is no pavement. Extremely clean restrooms and showers, also large showers. There is not much of a camp store or planned activities for kids, but very nice pool and can use pools across street at Mainstay Inn. Employees very helpful and nice. Most sites not long enough to leave dinghy attached. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

A nice looking, clean, well maintained park. No OTA tv, cable is provided with limited channels and several of those were such poor quality we were unable to watch. There are many trees so not all sites could use satillite tv. Sewer connection was about 8" above the ground which made draining less than desireable. My screw on fitting could actually be screwed on about four turns without problem, making a secure connection.

We have three GPS units and all three wanted to route us through local neighborhoods to get here. Stay on Parkway until you get to Pine Mountain Road. The office said this is a common problem. Wifi was very good. The pull through site was long enough for the mh and tow dolly but not with the car attached. We would stay here again. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.
