The park is a little tight but it just feels wonderful. I hope this is not too personal but my husband unexpectedly passed away in our RV on Memorial Day. The owners of the park were unbelievable They extended us for five days even moving their own rig to do it while I waited for someone to fly in and drive us back Arizona. You always hear that people who rv are friendly. These people were like family. I would highly recommend this park to anyone who wants to feel like they've come home. Plus the location is excellent. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice small RV campground with paved roads and gravel sites with a concrete patio, table and grass. A few trees, but mostly open sites. All back in sites with FHU. A little tight but doable for big rigs. Weak secured wi-fi, average cell signal, cable tv, open skies for sat tv. Nice grass area alongside creek. No game room, no club house, no pool, no scheduled activities. Separate area for tents. 2 miles from the Main hwy thru town. Owners friendly and helpful. We will return. Great value with PA. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty to do around this area. Too busy for me as I hadn't been there in over 15 years. I won't go back. Wouldn't advise going unless you like traffic.

Small and crowded but neat and clean. Walden Creek flows through and the park has picnic tables and chairs down by the creek and a grass area to play games. We had to pay cash because of our discount. Their Wifi was decent but not great and they furnished cable. The utilities were placed pretty good. The parking pads were level and they had a concrete patio. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

As others have said... small, but we were able to get a 40' motorhome in with no problem. Friendly owners. Fair price with Passport America discount. Easy access to the Smokies. Each site has a patio, table and chairs and a chiminea. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Very small campground, but will accommodate big rigs easily. Also a Passport America find, we paid the PA rate of $22.50 per night for entire stay. Water, sewer, 50 amp electric, free Wifi, cable TV, laundry room, bath house. The bath house was very old and quite dirty, with cobwebs, leaves and spiders everywhere, but the showers were large and wearing shower shoes helped. Owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful. A few residents, but mostly people came and went in the nine days we spent here. Washers were a little pricey at $2.00, but I checked a local washateria and found $2.50 there. Trolley stop right in front. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very small (35 site) private campground, but the owners are extremely helpful, friendly and have done a lot of work making this a pleasant place to stay, including lots of little treasures to feast one's eyes on. The sites are relatively small, but the owner expertly helped guide us in. The sites are gravel with a concrete pad next to it with a table and chairs, so we have stayed in much tighter spaces. Although the RV section isn't much to look at, the office area and behind it is very nice, with a creek running there (to swim and fish). There's a beautiful deck and a few scenic sitting areas. They also rent the most adorable cabins! We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Big, touristy area with a lot of attractions, as well as close to the Smokey Mountain National Park: Pigeon Forge, Seiverville and Gatlinburg. There's something for everyone to do here, as well as a trolley that will take you wherever you want to go.

Rate is PPA. Previous reviews all highlight small, tight spaces. Yep. Closest we have been to others living since we were in Japan living in town. That was unsettling. But, in driving around, most of the parks in this area are like that...crammed and jammed. You are on the edge of the Smokies and Dollywood is the big draw. That aside, folks were very pleasant, restrooms clean, WiFi fast and easy, cable TV appropriate choices. The trolley stops at the park entrance so for $0.50 you can ride into town, or around and another $0.50 gets you to Dollywood. If you are here for the entertainment, not relaxing in a campground and nature, then this is a good choice. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

This was a small park that might provide some parking difficulty for big rigs, but some were present in the park. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our parking space was assigned on arrival. The location of the park was convenient. Rather enjoyed watching the ducks walking through the park. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The staff at this small park was very friendly and helpful. The main circle is paved with level gravel sites. Each site has a concrete pad with picnic table. The sites are all back-in and very close to each other both on the sides and end to end. The bath house was very clean and well equipped. Great location for visiting Pigeon Forge and surrounding attractions. I would stay here again. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

This was our second time at this campground and for us it is a nice small campground. The owners are friendly and helpful. The campground is small and some spaces are tight for big rigs but I haven't had a problem with my 35' motor home and have seen quite a few big 5th wheels come and go with no issues. The only issues are the Wi-Fi is pretty sporadic but other than that it is a nice campground and also there is a trolley stop at the entrance. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

We decided on short notice that we would go Pigeon Forge for the Rod Run and a long weekend. We found a few campgrounds with openings that would accommodate our 40+ ft motorhome. We picked Waldens Creek because when we called we were told they had two spots available, and they would put us in the second spot on the left as you enter the campground (can't remember the number). We were happy with that and made the reservation. When we arrived the spot was taken, and we were given a spot in the middle row which we barely fit in. We actually had to go over the line on the site behind us and we were still right at the edge of the circle driveway. We told the lady at the front desk we were given the other site when we called to make the reservation, and she replied, "We DO NOT assign spots." We told her we had other campgrounds where we could have stayed, but we decided on this one because of the site we were given. Her response was, "Well, why didn't you go to one of them." The internet was horrible. Half of the time you couldn't connect, or the signal was so poor you couldn't do anything. The water pressure was awful; anytime we used water we had to turn the motorhome pump on. Overall, bad experience. This was one of the worst trips we have been on since purchasing our motorhome. The site was so tight that we couldn’t even open our awning without hitting the camper beside us. We won't be going back. Disappointed in SC. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Price reflects our Passport America. We stayed 4 nights here and although it is small, we got a site that fit our 40 foot motorhome and our car. Office personnel are very helpful. Sites were well maintained. We camped at Walden's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.
