Very nice park. The owners are working constantly to keep the place clean and tidy. WiFi was excellent and the spaces are plenty big. The pool looked inviting but we didn't have time to get in. Overall, a very nice park with extra friendly owners! We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Green Acres RV Park continues to exceed our expectations. Reservations are quick and easy and the staff always makes us feel welcome. The grounds and salt water pool were in excellent condition this trip. We didn't arrive until well after dark but the pull thru was easy to access. The owners always make a point to come by and say "Hi" even when they're not on duty. A clean and friendly place to stay. We look forward to coming back. Tips for other Campers:
Went to "Top of The River" restaurant this trip. Excellent and inexpensive. Recommend having dinner around 4:00 to avoi the crowd. Haggy's Catfish Hotel is also excellent for catfish.
Very nice park, clean, level sites, and very friendly staff. Restrooms were clean and showers were single rooms with lots of space! Laundry only had 2 washers and dryers but it was only 1.25 per load. Would stay there again. We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $32.00
Very well-maintained RV park with well-located full hookups, good WiFi, some sunny and some shaded sites. Very clean laundry with two washers and two dryers ($1.25/load; bring your own quarters and soap for after-hours washing). We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Tips for other Campers:
Great stopover for Shiloh National Military Park, with Krogers, Walgreen's, and Walmart conveniently located on the way from the RV park to the battlefield.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $34.00
This park is under new ownership and they've done a lot of upgrades. Bathhouses are small but clean. Roads are good. Sites are spacious. Electric pedestals appear to be fairly new. Pool is saltwater but was not open. Only a couple washers & dryers in laundry We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
This area is close to the TN River and many Civil War sites.
Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $32.00
Very very professional and friendly! Escort you to your site which is on gravel with grass on both sides. The hookups were new and in perfect order. This is eye appeal to me as the property is on a sloping grade...not just a flat parking lot. We would stay again for sure. We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $33.00
The new owners are doing a great job. Level sites, new or rebuilt power boxes, super water, great WiFi, one of the best cable TV services we have seen in any RV park, and wonderful "salt" pool. Very quiet and peaceful. We were here visiting Shiloh National Park and Savannah, Corinth area. We loved it here at Green Acres and will be returning. We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
The first site we were given was not a good option for our rig; however, they moved us to a more accommodating pull through site. It was level, but no trees for shade. No fire ring and the picnic table was very unstable. WiFi was OK. They had cable, but we used our satellite dish with good results. There were a few dogs running around unleashed, which was against the campground rules. The owners were very nice. They had karaoke at the main pavilion on Thursday night and an oldies band played on Saturday night which both were good to listen to and we enjoyed hearing it from our campsite. They have a nice salt water pool to cool off in on those hot July days in Tennessee. The campground is located conveniently to Picwick Landing and Shiloh National Park. We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Very large sites, need to work on getting them level but otherwise quite satisfactory. Owners are extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely return. We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Nice campground and friendly service. We did not have one of the nice pull-through sites but were lucky to get a site since it was July 4th weekend. In fact our site was situated such that the our neighbors' door was facing our door. We would stay again, but only if we could get one of the pull-through sites. We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
The owners had just recently bought the park. They were doing a great job of improving and fixing it up. The restrooms and the laundry room were well done and immaculate. The swimming pool was a great feature. The spaces were very large drive-throughs. Everythings about the park was good. We especially appreciated the friendly personal attention the owners extended to us. The park is close to the Shiloh battleground and fishing at Pickwick Lake. We spent over 3 months travelling through the South, enjoying many fine meals. If the occasion arises, Just North of Shiloh on the Tennessee River is a restaurant called The Catfish Hotel. Both my wife and I had the best meal of the trip there! We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Motorhome.
This is a great place to stay when you visit Shiloh or the nearby lake. The new owners have made tons of improvements and updates. The sites are spacious and big-rig friendly. The laundry and restrooms are spotless. The park grounds are well-groomed and manicured. The owners go out of their way to make your stay a good one. We will definitely stay there again when we're in the area. We camped at Green Acres RV Resort in a Motorhome.
