Super clean and pretty. Spacious sites along the river. Had room for 34' trailer and 2 vehicles. Site is paved and level. Excellent location close to town but without all the tourist traffic. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

New RV Park with spacious concrete pads. The hosts are so helpful and friendly. Water front campsites are beautiful with some shade and some have hammocks to enjoy! Quiet. Very near everything in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge but still easy to access located directly behind a Weigels so ease of access to gas and food. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Motorhome.

This place is a hidden gem. The campground has been open less than a year and the owners live in the campground. Laundry, Firewood, and Ice are all on the honor system. Take what you need and pay for it at your convenience (hope the owners don't get taken advantage of). We put our 40' fifth wheel on a back in site on the river. With the camper on the site the truck almost doesn't fit. Sites are asphalt and pretty level. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Best Rv campground there is. Near Pigeon Forge but just far enough away to get out of the hustle and bustle. Gas Station at the entrance perfect to fill up the tank or your RV. Owners run it and are the nicest there are. Made me feel like family. Paved roads and sites. Site picnic table is solid and grills are spotless. Had a fathers day cookout and didn't charge a cent. Great Food and Great Time! You don't want to miss out. Kids played in the little pigeon river. Seating near the river and bring your fishing pole. Bath house was beautiful. Overall Rating:

This is an excellent campground in Sevierville, TN. All of the other reviewers are right on point. The campground is very scenic and clean. Yes there were only two washers and dryers, but as others have said, they are still working to improve this brand new campground. There is plenty space for more, so it looks as if more will be added in the future. We did not hear road noise that was mentioned in another review. Our favorite point about this campground is the location. It is away from most of the crazy traffic. The only reason that I rated the service satisfactory and only gave it a 9 out of 10 is because of the music being piped through little speakers at your electrical hookup. During the day, bluegrass music is piped through those speakers. In our over 15 years of camping we have never come across this. While inside the RV, I could hear the music. To me is was extremely irritating. When I camp I love to hear nature, to read, to sleep. I do not want to listen to music. And if I did want to listen to music, it would not be bluegrass. We texted the owners and kindly asked if there was someway that we could turn off the speaker at our site. A few minutes later, both owners appeared at our RV. They were shocked by the fact that I did not like bluegrass music. They did agree to unplug our speaker. But, then we were told not to return to their campground because blue grass music would eventually be piped through the entire campground. So, I guess this answers whether or not we would return to the campground. We will not. (not unless we can be assured that we will not have to listen to unwanted music at our campsite.)

Once you are near the address on the campground, if the Weigels gas station is on your left, turn left at the light. If the gas station is on your right, then you will turn right. Proceed up the hill, but don't go too fast as there is a gated entrance near the crest of the hill. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Motorhome.

A wonderful park, the first one that the owner took us to our site a directed me onto the site, even offered to back the camper if I wasn't sure I could do it. The restrooms & showers were not finished yet but they were being worked on, but in my opinion, something much larger is needed. The traffic from route 411 can be a bit noisy, but other then that it was great and we would stay there again We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is our 3rd stay with Leon and Alais Duvall since it opened in Oct 2017 and it has become our must stay campground when staying in the Pigeon Forge area. The park continues to add sites. The value is unbelievable, $35 for a river site with bald eagle viewing???!!! The owners are exceptional people, you will not find better people or host. The Duvalls sponsored a BBQ on the Sunday that we were there. Met many of the fellow campers. The food and fellowship were great! The site is grow so there is some construction but do not let that deter you from staying at the best RV park in the Smokies. Pool and other amenities are in the future. Access is now controlled by gates with code access. Leon and Alais met us at dusk, in the pouring rain, to help us get our camper back into the site. They even stayed with us while we hooked up to the site. They didn't have to but that's the kind of special people they are...you can't beat them. We have already booked our fall trip. As one other reviewer said, always one (negative reviewer). We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Site #3: asphalt, level, on the river, excellent view of bald eagles. Adjacent to laundry room. Close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dollywood. Walgreens and convenience store with 200yds of campground. Road noise can be an issue if your a light sleeper, if so recommend (newer) sites in the interior of the park. If you stay, prepare to keep coming back...

Overall Rating:

We first found Duvall in October 2017, only three weeks after they opened. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we stayed again in November 2017 and April 2018. The owners are fabulous and they always make us feel at home. They remember us as soon as we pull up. They always help us back in to our spot and make sure we get the awning lined up over the picnic table so we have shade and/or rain protection. The spots are level and paved, as are the roads. We love the cute fire rings and we love that the grill is a real, separate charcoal grill, not just a grill over the fire. It's always spotless. We've stayed twice on the side that's closest to the road and once on the riverfront. We prefer the riverfront because the road noise does carry a bit, but it's not a huge deal. Just be aware if you're a light sleeper. The campground is behind and downhill from a gas station, which worried us the first time we stayed, but there's absolutely no noise from it. In fact, we find it pretty convenient to head up there if we get a craving for ice cream or chocolate! We haven't used the kayaks or hammocks that are available free for guest use, but we think they're a thoughtful touch. We have climbed on the tree swing and watched the river go by though. There are several pull-through sites, but we prefer to be on the edges of the campground. The location is very convenient to Pigeon Forge. We have season passes to Dollywood, so we make a weekend out of our visits if we can, and we love staying here. It's probably not even 10 minutes away. The owners are always available with suggestions for outings or restaurants. We can't say enough nice things about this campground! We went to a different town this weekend and found ourselves comparing the campground we were in to this one! Duvall seems to be our gold standard! We can't wait to watch them grow! They have big plans that will make it even nicer! Verizon Mi-Fi packs are available at the office if you want wifi. They work well. They were laying cable in April and they had plans to open a bathhouse soon. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Let me think now, as I read here, 12 glowing Excellent comments and 1 negative comment... after I finish, there will be 13 glowing comments. Seems like theres always someone..... Anyway, as mentioned above, this is a new park, partially completed and the owners are the finest, helpful, do anything to make your stay wonderful type people we have ever met in all the years we have been traveling. Unbeknown to us, this past weekend was a massive car show in the area and every park was packed. However, the owners went out of their way to ready one site for us that was nearly completed (it was gravel only with all hookups completed, all others are paved) that they put us in. We were given a discounted price for this as well. It was difficult to back our 39 ft. Brand new fifth wheel in, but the owner assisted us every inch of the way and we parked it on the first try! They have a great deal of experience doing this, and will offer to back your rig in if you need help, as many people have serious problems backing up. We were missing blocks and chocks, just having picked up our new rig, so the owner provided all and assisted in helping us get set up. Sites are paved, large and very well spaced. As you look around the park, pride in ownership and attention to detail is everywhere. There is a State protected eagles nest very close by, and the owner has set up a viewing station for everyones use. Many sites, as ours was, are right on the Little Pigeon River, very nice. This park is still being developed over time by private owners, not some corporation. It has a way to go to get everything completed, but its a true diamond in the rough. We applaud their sincerity, kindness and dedication. They have our highest recommendation! We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Only a few miles to many attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but you're away from the traffic and crowds there. Walgreens is across the street as well as a nice convenience store/gas station that has diesel (Wiegels) within walking distance. Total distance from I-40 south to the park is 11 miles.

This is a small new park. The owners(or the people running it) were insulting and obnoxious. The man almost insisted on backing our camper in. His wife insisted on reading the rules to my husband and one other camper. The site was unlevel side to side. The traffic kept waking us up all night. No wifi or cable yet. None yet. We will not be back We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, clean, private. Quiet even though it is right off main road. Owners were very helpful. Directed to places to visit. We had a problem with sway bars and they loaned us tools and helped us adjust the bars. Campground sits on the river that contains a bald eagle nesting site. Would definitely stay here again if we visit the area. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Such a nice, spacious spot, right on the river...with hammocks to relax in, free kayak usage, telescope to see the eagles, sweet sandbox for children and a cute little barrel ride for them as well.
