Overall Rating:

Our rate was for a monthly stay. We first started down in the "permanent" area which was a mud pit when it rained and the permanent residents were not held to any standards. MANY items around their campsites, not clean. We then moved closer to the front, which was a great improvement. However, as the rain continued maybe every other day, we were still dealing with way too much mud. So, we decided to move to another CG. Because we'd paid for the month, this meant we were double paying for 2 weeks. When we left I spoke with the owner and explained that we had some packages coming from Amazon and we'd stop back to pick them up, was this ok? She said yes. I did not complain about the park as I know we had chosen to stay at this more economical location and expected some issues. The thing that upset me was after we left and our deliveries were attempted by Amazon, she refused them. Yep, even after we'd talked. All items were returned and now we're dealing with the fall out from this. I totally understand that people don't want to be responsible for our items, but she really should have explained this when I asked upon leaving. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Motorhome.

I stay here quite frequently last summer, I was new and Owner and her granddaughter was very hopefully and kind to our family) thought it was family own business till met the new managers, VERY rude and cocky. It's not worth it if the customer service is no good to me that is. I enjoy camping and being outside and spending time with family. If you want that don't come here with the new management of this place. Sites are graveled some have a pad with the sites. More shady on river. Some of the "monthly sites " look trashy but I didn't look over there much. Walking area for pets. Have nice little playground and pavilion to have a gathering under. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here Last year but the place is going downhill. This reminds me of a homeless place to sleep. Lots of shady people here. Run down campers and converted horse carriers. Many are not road capable at all. Dumpsters overflowed. Cable TV not in working order. Electric service fades at times with loose receptacles at the box. Oh yes. The pool. Very milky water and concrete is cracked. Very unhealthy. This place needs to sell off and get new owners to restore this dump. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The park was clean with well-groomed gravel roads. The sites are typically spaced for parks having sewer service in a popular area. By this I mean there is a narrow strip of grass between sites. The back-in sites along the river have a great view and most have a very nice concrete pad next to the drive. This park also has cable TV although the picture quality was not too good. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Sits by the little Pigeon Forge river that flows into the big Douglas Lake, TN. You can hear the rippling water for real. Nice large sites with green grass and gravel pads. Some sites have concrete patio and others do not. There are some full timers but they are in one section against the hill. This campground is away from the hustle and mess of the Pigeon Forge but still on the main road to get there. I would return to camp here anytime I am looking for that out of the hustle of the main tourist stops of Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg, Tenn.

we really enjoyed our stay twice this summer. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are gravel, two to a pull thru, back to back, and narrow. Our patio looked at the back of the rig next to us and their sewer. Only the riverside sites had concrete patios, the others did not. The restrooms and pool are older but very clean and sparkling, same with the laundry room. The campground is only 5 miles south of the Interstate so you don't have to drive the rig thru heavy traffic in Pigeon Forge. We were able to use our satellite and our ATT worked well. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We had stayed here several years ago and were not impressed but decided to stay while we were in the area this year. What a difference. Nearly a 180 degree turn-around. The campground was well-tended, the office staff very helpful, the restrooms had been cleaned up and painted and we really enjoyed our stay. The entire area has changed with its proximity to Pigeon Forge and The Great Smokies National Park. Exercise patience - the highway is under construction so you may be in traffic for some time, both getting to and leaving the RV park. We would return. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here 4 nights while waiting to get rig into dealer for service. The staff were helpful and extremely friendly. Access from the interstate was easy, however getting out of the park one has to turn right then do a U-turn to head back to the interstate. Sites were level and due to low occupancy we were able to "pull through" to our site. Some road noise and some litter but overall a nice park. We would stay again. Be sure to try the moonshine tasting at the distillery. Also, walking around the knife store is an awesome way to spend the afternoon. Had no idea there were so many knives available to purchase.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here four nights in our 33' Class A. The CG is very clean and well kept. On the row furthest from the water are worker RVs. A few of them down on the far end are almost in the undesirable category but we were on the opposite end from them. It wasn't bad enough that I wouldn't stay here again. The staff/owners are all very nice an helpful. Great wifi; very limited cable tv selection. When we arrived we thought - wow, these are some long spots, but after closer examination we discovered that two units can fit on one - back end to back end. Pool was closed due to the time of the year. Very few travelers or vacationers while we were here. Would definitely stay again. The location is wonderful because it's before you get into all the crazy, heavy tourist traffic. Just a short distance past the huge knife store. We were in spot 54. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Motorhome.

It is Sevierville - so it's close to everything. Best food we found was at JT Hannah's Kitchen. Even better than the food was the prices - VERY reasonable. Husband's steak was so good he sent tip to the kitchen.

We stayed 3 nights in a 5th Wheel. Sites are nice size with lots of pull through and level back-in sites. Campground was very well maintained and clean. Restrooms and laundry also clean and well maintained. The campground is located just off the main road. The office is easy to spot from the road and the campground itself is located slightly downhill, creating a fairly quit remote feeling. Roads and camp sites are gravel with concrete patios and picnic tables on sites. The office personnel and maintenance person were very friendly and accommodating. The WIFI was a little shaky, but okay for simple emails. The location from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was good for this visit. We would recommend and absolutely plan to stay on the return trip. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg within about 8-12 miles. Food fest, ice cream, fudge, taffy, buffets, touristy food places, lots of T-shirt shops etc. Lots of souvenir shops, "resort wear etc" if your into that sort of thing. Good value for the location and good condition of facilities as a whole.
