We have stayed here 4 times now, and enjoy the campsite and its location. We were on a gravel pull through that was level. Although near an extremely traveled main road, you couldn't hear road noise. The staff was very helpful. Great place to stay, and we will return again. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Traffic is horrible in Seveirville along the main road, so it a real plus that the access road to this CG has a traffic light.

Sites are level, with wide gravel roads. The sites are TOO close together, as is typical for private CGs. The sites with the most space are the back in sites along the river (on the higher numbered side) where there is a large lawn behind the camper. There are several fire pits and fishing benches along the river in this lawn area. Unfortunately, these sites are not long enough for even an average length camper and a vehicle to park in front of it. Consequently, your tow/towed vehicle ends up either on the grass or in the road. The pull through sites have enough length for another vehicle. The CG seems secure. The CG provides cable hookup which works reasonably well. The WiFi provided also works well (not sure about coverage over the whole CG). Power and water pressure were good.

This CG is a great place to use as a home base to do stuff in the area, but is not a "destination" itself. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to the Smoky Mountain Knife Works, the Coleman Outlet Store and others.

The campground itself was very clean and nice. Pretty lake to walk near. The bathrooms were disqusting. It smelled like a sewer, shows were filthy. This is my only issue with this campground. It is a very religious lication, fyi. Staff were personable. For being a gravel site, it was pretty level. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground. Sites were well maintained but were close and there was absolutely no shade. The showers and bathrooms were quite a distance away. They should really have some in the back campground area. The WiFi was spotty at best. Lots of difficulty in staying connected. Had cable TV but only about 25 stations available. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Cade's Cove is worth the trip.

Nice park easy asscess from I-40. Roads inside campground are all level and gravel. We had a "back in" to the river - great view.
The sights are the tightest we have expierenced maybe other than once. You are right on top of each other - my awnnings almost touched the RV next to me when I let them out.
The park is very neat and clean and quite - we will most likely stay somewhere else next time in this area. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Traveling back home and decided to spend a few days near Pigeon Forge. Honestly this wasn't our first choice, but after a long drive this was so conveninet to I-40 we decided to give it a try and am I glad we did! This was a great campground. Friendly folks, good size site, full hook ups, an internet that worked plus cable. They have a nice size pool which looked immaculate and laundry which was very clean. Trash is picked up at site daily. Easy to find and the roads within the park easily handled a motorhome with tow. We plan on returning and staying longer. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg without being too close!

My wife and I enjoyed our experience here. A large campground with a mixture of various RVs, long term and weekenders that leave their rigs stationary. We did note that come Monday morning, the maintenance man was busy relocating a number of trailers to the "back 40" lot for storage of the weekender rigs

We had a large pull thru with plenty of room on all 4 sides, but our trailer is small. Even the mega rigs were not overcrowded, had room to park their super-sized dualies. There was a nice stream that help keep temps. Large shade trees but widely dispersed for easy access. The campsite has cabin rentals as well. gravel with concrete pad and picnic table at all sites.

Park was quiet, no loud pets, children or music. Church service was held Sunday morning.

All of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Only negative- I did use the showers. I am sure the showers were cleaned, not sure what year! Management informed. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Outlet mall nearby, excellent restaurants, national park 15 miles away.

RV park location is near Severville, Tenn. and convenient to restaurants, shopping and the beautiful Smokey Mountain National Park.

Third time staying here very clean and well cared for park. The people working here are very friendly and always make you feel like family. Told friends about the park and they felt the same way and have made reservations to go back. Great place and great people. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do this place is far enough away to be quiet but close enough to enjoy all of the area bring the kids and a fishing pole. Enjoy

We stayed five nights and was well satisfied with the entire experience. We were in a MH and a toad in a pull thru site. The sites are both close or spacious, depends what your needs are. We required a wheel chair site so our end site was open on one side but tight on the other. We had a patio and picnic table close to pool and close to amenities. The staff were helpful, friendly, and were eager to answer any questions we had. I would definitely return when in the area. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You are close to all kinds of shopping, shows and just about anything else you would need.

We've been traveling for 3 months from California and this is by far the best RV park we've been in. Clean grounds and lovely trees with a beautiful river accessible by some of the sites. All sites have cement patio and gravel which was very level. The staff is great - super friendly and helpful. We stayed Memorial weekend and on Sunday they had a free barbecue/potluck with live Bluegrass band. They also have church service every Sunday. We liked it so much we decided to stay a few extra days. There's a lot of traffic getting the national park and you have to drive through the incredibly commercial towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg so the park is a pleasant oasis from all of that. Right off the main road but we heard no traffic sounds - only "noise" was the helicopter tours most days. The WIFI was great as was the cable. The nearest grocery store isn't too far away but plan your trip to stay out of the traffic. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you're going to the national park leave early - later in the day the traffic gets crazy. This applies also for going into town for groceries, etc.

Easy access, everything worked including Wi-Fi. Only staying a few days and wanted to stay closer to the interstate instead of being in the middle if the action in Pigeon Forge. This park fit the bill perfectly. Rained during my stay but the gravel sites stayed dry. Would come again for sure. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here before and would stay here again. Good sized sites, convenient to I-40, very quiet. Grassy area along the river to walk your dog, but no dog park. Roads are gravel, but wide. Easy access to all campsites. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (12 miles). Good experience at the campground. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We would have rated this park with a 10 if they had some dedicated handicap sites. Internal roads and sites are gravel with a concrete pad at sites. Space was level and wide but still not easy for a wheelchair bound guest. The guest parked beside us was also in a power chair, and even though his coach was specifically designed for his needs, he still had difficulty getting around on the gravel at site, so I know it wasn't just us. Staff very friendly; park very well maintained, clean and quiet. FHU with relatively low water pressure (had to remove reducer on my hose to get sufficient water pressure). Rate reflects Good Sam discount. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Loved the location. It is close enough to enjoy the Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg without being in middle of all the constant traffic from the area attractions. We had a gravel pull-through site with a nice concrete patio along a picnic table. The electric, sewer, and water were convenient to all of our hookups on the fifth wheel. The cable was not good at all, but our satellite dish picked up well. The Wi-Fi worked OK on the laptop, but couldn't get our tablets to connect. We had a heavy rain one day that wiped out any Wi-Fi signal at all. The campground is quite large and the permanent and seasonal campers are separate from the recreational ones. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
