Very nice, clean family-owned RV park. Easily accessible from I-40. It is a little bit of a drive from the "strip" in Pigeon Forge. Holy cow-traffic in the area is horrible, but no getting around that, I guess. Friendly, easy check in. Another poster mentioned that the WiFi wasn't very good in the back section. Can't comment except to say that we were in the front section and our WiFi was very good. There aren't a lot of cable channels, but enough. Didn't try OTA channels. Sites are close, but doable. Very level, gravel, pull-thru FHU site. Our section had some trees. A couple of rows in the back section did not have shade. There are nice back-in river sites with trees. Plenty of space to walk the dog. Good Verizon coverage. We would stay here again. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For groceries & fast food, turn left on Hwy 66 (Winfield Dunn Hwy) instead of turning right and going into Sevierville or Pigeon Forge. There is a Food City & Burger King, among others. Much, much easier than going into Sevierville/Pigeon Forge.

One of our favorite parks in our experience -this was our third stay and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Very convenient to the I-40 and to the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge attractions yet snuggled next to the Little Pigeon River. So peaceful! Level spots - lots of pull-throughs. Everything worked great except the wifi - we have stayed in the front area previously where it worked great - this time in the back and couldn't get on at all. Most spots have cement patio and interior roads are good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Stay for the Sunday service! We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Rate of $36.00 per night is with a Good Sam discount. We concur with all the previous reviews as they appear accurate and reflect our opinion/findings as well. This park is very large, around 300 sites and they were close to sold out during our 3 night stay. Office staff is very welcoming and helpful. They will gladly visit and help and inform newbies on opinions of local attractions. Traffic for the area is our only negative, during our visit over the Columbus Day weekend it would take us well over 30 minutes to travel the 6 to 8 miles to Pigeon Forge and another 30 minutes to Gatlinburg. Bumper to bumper traffic in both locations. This campground is an excellent value and should be the standard for all RV parks. We will definitely select this park again if in the area. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge campground with roughly 285 sites. We were in a pull through, full hook up site 46 which was level. Sites are very close together, mostly gravel with small sitting area very small picnic table. There is a little strip of grass between campsites, but your neighbor's sewer is right there. Quite a few long term/storage campers and some mobiles, but maintained. Several cute cabins are also available to rent.

Campground has Little Pigeon River running through it. It's easy to find, not far from the highway, but without much road noise. They have four washers and four dryers which worked great. Bathroom/shower area appears to be brand new and nicely decorated. All areas well maintained and wonderfully clean. 22 cable channels included in price. Nice office with very small selection of items, lounge area and small arcade for the kids. They also have a pool which was closed for the season, and nice pavilion area where they have non-denominational services on Sundays. Verizon cell service worked great. It's a great campground for exploring the area, as highway 441 going through Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg has a lot of traffic. We would stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you get a chance, drive up to Clingman's Dome. The observation tower is closed for repairs until April 2018, but the views are spectacular. LOTS of things to do in the area, I wish we would have been able to stay longer to see all of them!

Stayed here a week. Great park and staff were outstanding. Very quiet. We were parked in the area for larger rigs but had the trees at the end of the park to provide shade. Really nice. Sites were level gravel with grass area and raised concrete patio pad. Utilities were good. WiFi was even good until everyone got on in the evening. Roads gravel and nice access, even for the largest rigs. Plenty of room for trailer and tow vehicle or MH and toad. The only thing I could find 'wrong' was the dog area was not fenced in. There are nice little spots along the river for sitting and fireplaces. They even have private fishing access to the river. Easy in and out with a traffic light at TN66. Only five minutes from I40. Gas station with diesel on the corner. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is probably going to be my favorite rv park in our whole 5 month trip! 30 or 50 amp service, sewer, water, patios at our site, good wifi, free cable (although we got more channels OTA), pool, river access, nice playground for kids, church service on Sundays (we left Saturday) and overall just very nice. The people were very friendly. The park has beautiful trees everywhere and it's the only park I've seen all across America where they were trimmed beautifully. The roads are extra wide, making it easy to get around the park. There were a ton of big rigs here and very large trailers. We did see a 42' fifth wheel back into a river site, and I didn't think it would fit, but it did. It's very quiet, yet only 4 miles off I-40 north of Knoxville. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Another small thing, but nice, the park is laid out so the pullthroughs were on the "right" side to get afternoon shade. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We really love this park. It's well maintained and the perfect distance away from all the activity in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We stayed here 2 weeks and look forward to returning. We camp in a 40' motorhome with tow. The roads are wide enough and set up so that there's no need to unhook. Great wifi, cable and FHU. Staff are very friendly. Nice RV park with many large level gravel pull-thru sites with patio and picnics tables. Full hook-ups with 50 amp and cable. Next to a river. (Choose back-in if want to overlook the river.) Pool. Large internal roads; very good for big rigs. Had a problem with wifi initially but "wifi guy" fixed. Then was very good. Easy access from freeway but far enough to be very quiet. Trees well trimmed so no danger to rigs. Check-in was easy and staff was very nice. Close to Pigeon Forge (and Dollywood), Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountains. Definitely would stay here again. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

If you're looking for convenience, peace and quiet, courteous and professional service, cleanliness, level and gorgeous sites, then look no further. We were not expecting the quiet and beautiful views from a campground of this size and popularity. My daughter and her husband stayed just a few sites away from us in a cabin and even though the cabins were close together, they also had complete enjoyment and privacy. Although I didn't use the showers, they were the most up to date, modern, clean and downright beautifully decorated I've ever seen in a campground. They looked much more like upscale hotel bathrooms. They were always clean. The only downsides are that this campground does not really have tons of activities (we didn't care and appreciated the calm atmosphere). There are a few, but mostly on the weekends and there is a church service on Sunday. We didn't attend, but it looked nice and welcoming. The other downside is that the sites are on the smaller side. However, we drove through several campgrounds in the area further in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the sites in these campgrounds were about half the size of what was available at Riverside. We still had plenty of room for our chairs, bikes, and extra table. Everyone who had slides was able to use them. We simply loved the convenience as we didn't not have to fight traffic or make tight turns to get in and out of the campground. This was a huge plus for us. It is also about fifteen minutes away from all of the attractions in Pigeon Forge and a little further to Gatlinburg. We will be back to Riverside and the sooner, the better. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We were in a campground(?) in the Smokies and it was hideous. We found this RV park on accident on a trip to Sevierville. What a great park! The people were super nice. The place is clean and well taken care of. The pool was great. They even have a church service on Sunday morning if you want to attend. We were so happy to find this RV park. A warm friendly welcome as soon as I drive in. Easy to work with also. I asked for a pull-thru because I was tired and he said, no problem. The grounds were very well kept up and the staff friendly both days. I mentioned to them that Two Rivers weren't too friendly and they had heard it before. But, neither of the staffers made any negative comments. Top notch people. I was impressed. They have new shower houses and the river is right there. I'd recommend to solo travelers or anyone who appreciates a good campground. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

First time to stay at this park and loved it. Easy access from I-40 and not too close to all the traffic in town. Very easy to get out to the attractions when you want too. The park is super clean and the staff if very helpful. We had a long shaded pull-thru with plenty of room for 40 foot motorhome and jeep. There are some seasonal or permanent sites but they are well maintained and away from the RV sites. There are lots of cabins overlooking the beautiful Little Pigeon River below. We plan on staying there again on our way back home. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Dollywood has a great show called Dreamland Diner. Lots of singing and dancing with music from the 50's to the present. We also took a side trip to Dandridge, TN to the Bush Bean Museum and Family Cafe. Be sure to watch the movie of the factory tour. We tried their Pinto Bean Pecan Pie! Doesn't sound good, but it was great.

This is a large, well-run park with a fair number of seasonal guests, and some permanent mobile homes. Roadways are paved and quite wide. Sites are level gravel with tables and concrete patios. Fire rings are only available at the sites along the river. WiFi worked very well for us, cable is analog, with limited stations. Showers/bathrooms were so clean and modern they looked like they were built yesterday. Access is easy from the highway...Pigeon Forge attractions are about 30 minutes away, but if you've been to this area before you know what traffic can be like.
