Just a one night stop, but what a lovely one. Level concrete pads atop a gentle hill for easy pull thru. Fishing pond with pier, gazebo, pine grove along the shore. Excellent information packet covers all the bases. On-site RV repairs, propane, cable, WiFi- even pizza delivery to your site. Only one mile off I-40 with RV accessible Crossroads Cafe and 2 gas stations along the way. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of Civil War history in the area with Visitors Center providing information about events, re-enactments and self-guided tour of battlegrounds. Not far from Natchez Trace SP and only 50 miles north of Shiloh National Military Park. Wineries, fresh water pearl farm, antiques and museums close by.

We love "RV Park Reviews"! Could not find any acceptable campgrounds near Jackson, TN so we choose Parkers Crossroads, which turned out to have an interesting Civil War Battlefield. We did our morning walk around the battlefield, which was great. The home of Casey Jones, which we visited, is about 30 minutes away and I highly recommend the Buffett at the village - real fresh vegatables.

The campground is somewhat older and divided into two sections, one of which are long time residents and the other an area of pull-through sites for travelers. It is basic but acceptable and the local guy helped us get parked and situated. The road in is gravel, but the site is concrete in good condition. Water pressure is high, so be sure to have your regulator. WiFi is not consistent. No trees or picnic table.

This was an easy in and out campground and I think as good as you will get for the area and we would stay here again. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The check-in process was smooth and the staff friendly. Our site was more than long enough for our fifth wheel and we were able to remain hooked up to the tow vehicle. A staff member recommended a local restaurant that had a great country-style buffet. The grounds were clean and neat. The bathrooms, however, were less than desirable. There were spider webs (with resident spiders) in the bathroom stalls, and the shower stalls/floors were dirty. We arrived late afternoon, so it may have just been a bad day. If we were self-contained and could have used our own bathroom, then we would have rated this pace much higher. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Level pad, quirky site layout but it it works well and provides privacy. No noise, friendly people, satellite and utilities are ok. Easy on-off I-40. Have stayed here before and will stay again. Good value. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a good overnight stopping point located just 2 miles off the interstate. We were lucky enough to get a site up on top. These sites were staggered are so we weren't looking at the neighbors sewer. Site was a concrete slab and level enough to we didn't unhook for the night. Other sites were down the hill with gravel but seemed level and were side to side. Park was quiet and managers were friendly. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is nice for an overnight stay. They have some permanent residents and some longer stays for the summer. Not a snow bird location. The check-in was very very poor. The first site we could not get into, the second one was occupied, the third one we got into and then the people staying there in a class B showed back up as they were out for the day. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Steve Yates, owner at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground responded to this review

We are sorry that this camper did not have a good experience with us although we are a little confused that his main issue was with check-in since we escort everyone to their sites and stay with them until they are settled in. Since we have a computerized reservation system we know what sites are available and which are not even when the current guest is out traveling in the area. Not that it is a big deal but we actually do have snow-birders that stay in the park from MI. Compared to the MI weather, they think the TN weather is great.

If I could have rated the service here at a number higher than 10, I would have done it! This was our sixth visit, and the campground just keeps getting better. Friendliness and RV service are simply outstanding. I stored here and the guys did all my maintenance at very reasonable rates. The sites are excellent, laser-leveled and with patios. You are in farm country here, with lots of space all around. As others have said, the brochure they hand out is second to none. Thanks, Steve! A return visit for us and will definitely return and recommend to others. Wish we could find more parks of this quality. Lot spacing was spacious with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface was a concrete pad featuring a fire ring, picnic table and patio. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on our first night after leaving home for the season. Owners were EXTREMELY helpful with several problems we had in our RV. Beautiful sunset over peaceful pond on the property.

The site was clean, we were escorted to our site, the park was quiet. Will be back here for sure. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Price based on monthly stay. This is a great park, I did a ton of research and this park was rated the best. I wanted a park that was halfway between Memphis and Nashville so we could visit the cities without 3 hour drives. This is a perfect park for that. The area is rich in civil war history, the local towns are great to visit, such great plantation type homes. The park has both concrete and gravel spots with a wood deck and table/chairs. Big rigs are no problem, satellite reception is great and not clocked by trees, but tell them so they put you in the best sites for satellite. You will not find friendlier staff who are beyond helpful. Call the office and order a pizza, they will make it and deliver to your site. This is also a repair location so if you need any maintenance or repair work, they do it all and will do it at your site. They have just built a large building for doing repairs inside if you just come in for a repair. They are very knowledgeable in all aspects of RV repairs. Check in and they will lead you to your site and make sure you get all hooked up with no issues, Cable TV available and Wifi is one of the best I have seen. There is a small pond and dock that you can sit and just watch the Geese and ducks. Full time residents are all friendly, it is a very quiet park. This is one of the best all around parks we have stayed in and will stay again for sure. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Drive to Union City through Huntingdon and look at the homes. Drive to Lexington and view homes. Beautiful plantation type mansions. Visit the local civil war museum and the Parkers Crossroads battlefield.
