This is an open field with 50 very long pull-thru sites. You could fit 2 RV's into them. FHU, 30-50 amp. They charge $30 for 30-amp and $33 for 50-amp. All utilities worked well. We like open sites for DirecTV satellite access, and this fit our needs very well. Office staff were out cutting the grass when we arrived, but the sign on the door said to pick a site and put payment in the mail slot. We picked a site and waited for them to finish cutting the grass, then went back to the office and paid by credit card. They were very pleasant. Wifi is free and it is a strong signal, even in the middle of the park, but after you get online, nothing loads. So we couldn't use it. ATT cell service was 2 bars but sufficient. The main road in can get dusty but the sites were gravel, and not dusty. And this is the only campground we could find that is not right on top of I-20, so it was perfectly quiet. We never heard anything. We would stop here agsin. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a find! Really had low expectations along this route as most everything is right next to the freeway. But, then we got lucky and found this place thanks to r.v. reviews site. Owners are very courteous and nice. Place was very clean and quiet. About two blocks away from the traffic, perfect. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed overnight the park was clean, lots of grass for the dogs, quiet, sites were long/level pull throughs, our rig was 55 feet. Management team was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again. Easy access to the freeway. Freeway noise wasn't too bad at all. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A rather typical west Texas campground. Very quiet with no noticeable highway noise. Good gravel access roads. Long gravel pull thrus with good spacing between sites grass and a few trees but minimal shade. The gravel in sites could be wider and more level - we were hanging off both sides of site into the grass with a big rig. Overall very easy big rig access. Power sagged to 107-109v under load and it wasn't really hot, did not use other utilities. No problems with satellite access. Verizon 3 bards with adequate speed. TMobile 1 bar, did not check connection. Did not check campground wifi but ok signal strength. We'd stay here again for an overnight. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Called for reservation while traveling in the morning on Sunday. Left message but no one returned call. Arrived on site, office closed. Sign said to deposit $33 for 50 Amp in mail slot and take a site. Called phone number and he rudely said they're office is closed on Sundays! Said he'd be there around 9 or 9:30 on Monday to accept payment. Gave him a check for $30 with TX discount. All sites we're long pull thrus and open. Good WiFi and fhu's so it was worth it. Only wish attendants attitude was better. Would stay there again. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

We used this park for a quick stop (2 nights) while traveling through. This is a clean easily accessible from I20, quiet park. Each site is large with really good hookup placement and nice tree and grass placement. This a bare-bones park with no extras and not much to do around it. That being said, the people are really nice and it is a great travel park on the way to a destination park. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Buck Creek RV Park provided a great overnight spot for our big rig and tow vehicle. Sites are very long, and even offer a choice of two sewer connections. No staff was available when we arrived, but plenty of sites were open during the slow fall season, so we picked one and set up. That worked out well, and we settled up with the office helper when she returned. Services are minimal at this park, but for an easy in and out overnight stop without unhooking our tow car, it was perfect. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Horrible dust cloud will surround you immediately after turning into park. Dogs will bring burrs into coach. No grass - just weeds and mesquite trees. Good utilities and Internet and long pull-throughs. We stay here when visiting kids in Abilene but can't wait for new park to open just a few miles west on I-20. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times for an overnight. The park is not fancy but it serves it's purpose. Good hookups, long, level spaces and an efficient staff to name a few things. The roads and sites are gravel. I looked into the laundry this time and it was clean. The office is very frequently not open when we arrive but since I make my reservations online and am pre-paid, our name is on the map posted at the office door with our space. Without reservations just pay when you come in and pick an open spot. I like this park because it is only a short way off I-40 and it's quiet. Other parks are right on the freeway. Good Verizon cell and data services including my air card. A short drive to shopping and other amenities. It's easy to drive through the park in our big rig and I can walk the dog around the perimeter. We will continue to come back here when we come through Abilene. I rated it as I did because there are no extra amenities like a pool etc. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a great surprise to find this nice park just outside of Abilene! The sites are huge - 150 ft feet long, all pull-through, with 50 amp service. Nice grass on each lot. Very quiet and neat and clean. The road here from I-20 must have been improved since previous reviews because it is smooth & perfect for our 45' motorhome with tow. We definitely have no complaints about this park! We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

We chose this campground so that we could explore Abilene. The sites were gravel and our heavy motorhome sank somewhat. Since it was a rainy spring our site had plenty of grass that desperately needed to be mowed. We tried to sit outside but the tall grass was damp and buggy and we didn't last long. There is no patio area, cover, BBQ, etc. provided. This is an OK spot for overnight but not a place to spend a week. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park easily accessible from interstate. Country setting. Long, straight, level sites, easy to get into. Few trees scattered around the park. Very windy during our stay and quite dusty as a result. Restrooms, showers and laundry all together in a little building: the only permanent structure in the park other than a tiny building for check-in (not manned on a routine basis). We had made a reservation and found the number for our assigned site on a list on the door. Several long term residents scattered throughout the park. Advertised as having the longest pull-through sites in Abilene! Would return. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Basic park, really just a place to stay. Gravel roads and pads. Rudimentary but adequate laundry though expensive. All sites have a good satellite shot. Wi-Fi usually worked, but afternoons and evenings bogged down. Many long term residents. Our price is a multi-day discount, which we found to be good. We might stay here again. Abilene Texas is in the middle of nowhere. And, this RV park just East of town is a good place to stop over for a day or two. It is close to I 20 but not right on top of the hiway so road noise is light to none, depending on wind direction. A former reviewer mentioned the rough access road back to the park. It has been smoothed and is no problem. The park offers full hookups with the longest pullthrough sites we've ever seen! Sites are level and spacious with grass in between and lovely pepper trees that are a bit taller than your rig on each side of the site. Hookups are good - we have 50 AMP. Water pressure is 80 lbs so park recommends you have a water regulator. WiFI is very good. No cable TV but a number of over the air TV channels. No pool. Shower/Laundry House - two separate potty rooms and two separate shower rooms. Plus two washers and two dryers. Everything looks nice and clean. Previous reviewer mentioned many long term worker RV's. About a year ago the U.S. oil industry went bust - so while we are here Nov. 1st, the park is only about 25% full and there are mostly long term rigs but they all look nice and the sites are all tidy. This is definitely not someplace you want to be in summer but for Fall and Spring, the dessert is very pretty. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stopped by KOA, which was packed with permanents, so tried this place. We were fortunate it turned out that way. It's a few miles north of I20 which limited noise. There was shade and each spot was long, roomy, grass and small trees. A lot of room to maneuver and park any size motorhome with tow.
It states they don't have cable but we picked up 19 HD channels.
We would stay here again. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.
