Rates were Passport America rates. Large 55+ park, the pool and clubhouse areas were well maintained. Individual sites were not well maintained; grass/weeds were full of sharp burrs (especially bad for dogs or walking barefoot), sewer connections were overgrown(even the worker showing us to our first site could not find it!), our eventual site had a broken PVC sewer connector, and the ants were Texas huge and EVERYWHERE! The interior roads and layout are not friendly to 40 footers, (tight lanes and turns with one-way streets). There was only 1 garbage location within this multi-acre park and it was at the front edge instead of being centrally located. The water had heavy mineral content which left white spots on the rig and car. I would not do this one again. We camped at Alamo Palms Mobile Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.Undo

Friendly people good amenities and many things to do tennis courts, heated swimming pool, twenty shuffleboard courts, and Exercise & Table Tennis Room. Enjoyed it and will be back. We camped at Alamo Palms Mobile Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.Undo

Alamo Palms is an older, well-maintained, over 55 RV and mobile home park known for its many activities. The park is secured by a fence and has gate attendants. The roads and pads are blacktopped, and each site has a concrete patio. There were thirty-eight foot plus motor homes in the park even though the RV sites are small. At times barking dogs, etc. were a problem. Management seemed reluctant to enforce the Pet Policy. The daily rate which includes cable TV and wireless, reflects a thirty day or longer stay. We camped at Alamo Palms Mobile Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is our Winter Texan Home park for the past 9 years. The park is well maintained. The roads were repaved this past year. It's convenient location overcomes the close together sites. Over 80 in-park activities, tennis courts, a pool hall. A park to be proud of. We camped at Alamo Palms Mobile Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: January, 2007 - $14.00
Nice over 55 park. Lots of Canadian visitors. Winter Texan park with several full time park models and mobile homes. Caters to friendly people that want lots of activities, pot luck dinners, exercise, bike riding, pool activity, and shuffleboard. Grocery and Wal-mart a couple blocks away. Near several excellent birding sites. We camped at Alamo Palms Mobile Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.Undo
In town park surrounded by houses. Park is nice but spaces are small. Park was at about
1/2 capacity so the small spaces were not a problem. We spent 9 days here in January 04. We camped at Alamo Palms Mobile Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
