31 RV Parks near Alba, Texas
Mar 2017 - $27.00
Stayed here while visiting family in the area. Site was very close and overhanging trees made it interesting getting into the site. Full hook ups. No cable but had three or four channels using antenna. AT&T cellular coverage was adequate. WIFI was available and strong in our site. No pool. We were there from Sunday through Wednesday so it was not really crowded. I understand on the tournament weekends it gets crowded. Bathhouse was in need of renovation but is functional. Park worked great for what we needed. We camped here in a travel trailer. - nettms11
Feb 2016 - $30.00
Very nice. People very friendly and helpful. Clean and well kept lakeside park. Will be going back there soon! - On the GO Mission
Mar 2013 - $27.00
Good place to stay on Lake Fork. We pulled a boat instead of a toad and they put our boat in the water for us. Beautiful views of the lake and abundant wildlife. Lots of fishing activity. Very good diner on site. We will return. - PositiveOutlook
Mar 2008 - $20.00
At first glance I didn't like the park. Yet the park won me over by the friendliness of the staff and the people staying at the park. Asphalt roads, good spacing between RVs. Most people are permanent or just visit on weekends. Owners are very friendly and willing to help. Overall the park does need TLC but would stay again. - Caseysplace
Nov 2016 - $25.00
This is a lovely RV park. The RV's are spaced nicely apart, and the whole park is covered with trees. Fenced, and gated. They have a laundry room, an exercise room, and a club house that is just finished. Also a dog park. Close to Lake Fork, and Lake Holbrook. Very caring management. - Deborah Mitchell
Aug 2015 - $25.00
Very nice and shady with tons of trees. Gated with secure PIN access and completely fenced and well lit at night. Quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend! Laundry facility available for long-term residents. - mandy_ams
Feb 2009 - $30.00
The website does not state how many RV sites are in the park. The pictures show a lovely park, but when we got here it was old and somewhat run down. We had made reservations, but it looks like this park is full of full time residents. We are stuck out by the boat ramp and the site is not level. Lake Fork is a great fishing lake, but we are disappointed in this RV park. They have a decent restaurant, but it has a bar which is okay if you are not parked close to it. The people and the cars kept us awake until around 2 a.m. Now I am tired. We will not be back. - Deede
Sep 2008 - $35.00
Superior views of Lake Fork. Park has a boat launch and fishing pier with cleaning station. Many shady sites, with nice spacing between sites. Some sites have especially nice spacing with great lake views. 3 small cabins are also available for rental. Sites have a mix of gravel, grass and paved pads with gravel interior roads. We plan to return next spring for a two month stay, at significantly lower rates than the daily. - cjfteach
Oct 2012 - $25.00
Very friendly. On the water. The shower is a little rustic but clean. New dock and a great for large dogs to play. Lots of bass boat launching. Near state road, some road noise. Super restaurant on site with a huge breakfast for $5. - flbirds
Mar 2008 - $20.00
It's just an OK park. I say this because there was nothing there to make me want to come back. Overall cleanliness of the park was marginal. Camped in a fifth wheel and was out the next day - Caseysplace
Oct 2006 - $20.00
Very quite and clean park. Located on Lake Fork which is a big bass fishing with a lot of boat traffic. Restaurant in park has very good steaks. - TexasRVer
Apr 2006 - $8.00
Coast-To-Coast rate. This is primarily, 95%, a resort selling lots for permanent homes. There is a boat launch for bass fishing. The rest rooms could have used some more cleaning and some soap. The swimming pool doesn't open until Memorial Day. Paved roads but grass lots with no concrete patios. Nice fire places on each campsite. Open year round. The playground was quite a distance from the RV section. A security gate guarded the resort. - adamsr2
Feb 2016 - $20.00
All back-in sites with concrete pads.
Easy walking distance to grocery store and resturants. Locted in the "Heart" of Quitman.
Cable TV was a bit wonky, more channels than we would ever watch.
Good electric and water, but make sure you have a 50 to 30 amp dogbone. Free Wi-Fi.
Park along tree-line in the summer to be in the shade.
Pay at ranger's residence with cash or check only. Drop box for payment.
A few long term residents but everything is kept clean.
Public bathrooms adjucent to city park / playground that we didn't use. - thetravelkids
Jan 2012 - $20.00
We stopped here for the fourth year on our way south. Not a bad basic park. No frills. We would stay again. - Airstream Man
Apr 2011 - $20.00
This is a nice municipal park with full hookups. There were very few RV's in the park and water needed to be run to get the rust out of the lines. A sign of very limited use. - cat's meow
Mar 2012 - $30.00
Our first visit to North Shore Landing in a 40' RV with toad. Interior roads and long pull through sites can fit any size rig. Wi-Fi had good reception. Stocked pond on site; this is located on a world class bass fishing lake. This is 20 minutes from the Canton 1st weekend sale, a quiet break from the busy shopping area. Pad sites are level with gravel and full hook-ups. There were back-in and pull through sites available. We saw motor-homes, fifth-wheels, and travel trailers. There were also cabins and a house available. A boat ramp is on site. Very reasonable country club golf available 15 min away. The pond has a great deck with fire and BBQ available. Floats available for the pond and a fountain was on, but too cold for us, maybe in June. We spent two nights, but hope for 3-4 on the next trip. This is a very new facility; they are currently building a laundry room and shower facilities. The grounds are beautiful. - Navychop
Mar 2016 - $24.00
This is a super clean rv park with level concrete pads. There are no trees so satellite reception is excellent. There are no shower facilities, but there are two different restrooms that are only open from 8:00 to 5:00. I would definitely stay here again when coming to First Monday Trade Days in Canton as Canton is only 35 minutes away. - golfkitty
Nov 2014 - $11.00
The daily rate reflects the monthly rate of $350. All sites are level concrete pads with W/E/S. WIFI worked fairyly well. Clear view of the southern sky for Direct TV reception. Local TV stations came in very well. Cellphone reception was 4G with Verizon. Each site gets a trashcan which is collected every morning thru the week. Playground, tennis courts soccer fields. There are a total of over 200 sites. Within walking distance of a grocery store. Laundry within a few blocks. Surprisingly very few rigs stay during the week. Some weekends there will be a RV rally but they all leave on Sunday or Monday. We were the only rig in the whole park most of the time. We decided to winter here due to numerous family in the area. The only downside is no bath/shower house in campground. We have enjoyed our stay here. Campground kept very neat and clean. A lot of locals use the park for excercise, children sports practice and numerous functions in the civic center. - TexasRVer
Aug 2014 - $25.00
Very nice park, and well maintained. Actually a city park/RV campground. Nicest in the area. Well lit at night. No traffic at night (restricted). We will stay here again when in this area. - grandlake1
