Dec 2013 - $39.00
Timber Ridge is an awesome place to stay. Excellent management and friendly. Close to everything, but still a peaceful, country atmosphere. Love it! - Jan B
Jul 2013 - $33.00
Timber Ridge RV Village was a stopping point for one of our small trips. The check in process was smooth with a friendly customer service rep. Getting into our site was quite difficult considering it was a back in. The roads are all gravel, and it is heavily forested in a pleasant way. The showers were not clean nor the restrooms. There weren't any amenities and it was a bit far from any highly urban areas. For a stopping point, it was definitely worth the price. - springchick
Oct 2011 - $11.00
This park just didn't do much for us. It was OK for a place to say for a week. We chose it for it's location. The price reflects the weekly rate. It's all gravel back-in's. The roads are a little rough and have some of the worst speed bumps I've ever encountered. Quite a few long-term residents and older rigs. Nearly all sites are shady. In fact, we had to trim some low hanging branches to get into our site. Overall, not a bad place to stay, just lacked character. - wntrtxn
Aug 2017 - $38.00
We called and had a reservation, however no one at the front desk told us that the entrance road was down to one lane and very tight to get into. I get that they are fixing the road, but tell people that when they call and warn them of the construction. CAUTION!! If you use a GPS Garmin to navigate to this location and it tells you to go to HARRIS St to get into the park DO NOT GO DOWN THIS STREET. DEAD END! LOW POWER WIRES WILL HIT YOUR RIG!.. USE MAIN ST for access to park.. Look for sign. The place got great reviews so that is why I picked this place for the one night stay. However the sites were okay, the park is VERY Crowded. We walked around the park and were disgusted to see the long term trailers doing whatever they wanted. Freezers, gear all over, cages, grills, furniture, grass was not cut, and it smelled bad. Then early in the mornings its like a TRACTOR PULL going on, all of the long term oil workers leaving for work with diesel trucks loud and making sure you knew they were leaving. I would not recommend this place - Retired Marine
Nov 2016 - $90.00
We stayed in the deluxe riverfront site with the hot tub (site 233). It was awesome! This is a great campground. If we did not stay by the river I am confident that my review may not be as positive as it is. The river sites are fantastic and the hot tub makes it really memorable. Easy to find and get in and out of with our 38' fifth wheel. - Howls_Castle
Sep 2016 - $30.00
They weed-eated and cut my sewer hose and did not make a repair nor replace it. They wanted extra money for visitor parking. Also they advertise free wifi. The wifi does not work. - Joe Anthony
Apr 2016 - $55.00
We stayed 2 different nights, parked by the office in pull in site 124. Older park with many full time trailers, campers, with huge trees, so watch your Sat, but strong cable TV & WiFi service. Super nice and friendly office staff. We stayed here to be close to galleria area. Pool area looked spotless and park is well maintained. We will stay here again when in Houston. With highway construction on Beltway 8, if you are going north on Beltway 8,watch for your east feeder street to I-59. Park is located east of PPL RV sales lots and behind Sterling McCall auto dealership, on the south side of I-59 - RV park has a sign on 1-59( southwest freeway). If you are going south on Beltway 8 , exit at 1-59 feeder road and go east. - Oooooooo
Oct 2015 - $50.00
Sites are concrete ad, very narrow. We were here for only 1 nite & our site was right next to office, laundry & showers. Very convenient but no privacy. Entire complex is mostly concrete, narrow strips of grass. Landscaping was nice & well maintained. Laundry was superb. Dog walk area & dog wash facility! Nice rec room & heated pool. Located in a very congested area in back of several car dealerships. Would not stay here for an extended period bit one nite was fine. - Hulda
Jun 2015 - $22.00
We stayed here for 6 weeks while working the floods of Memorial Day 2015. Owners are consistently grooming and cleaning the sites. There are a lot of workers of various occupations, but it's very quiet, people are friendly but not in your business. The laundry is clean with several options of cycles so the $2.50 seems fair. We kept a clothesline between the trees in the back of our RV for line drying and that was readily acceptable. The pool was treated 3 X/day for bugs and the most I saw using it were 3, including me. An exercise room, a computer room, and pool table rounded out the community hall. They recently added TengoInternet, have cable, and Wi-Fi works great. Very close to the 59, the 8, the 610 easy to get to any place in Houston. Found it to be a utilitarian city but lots of wonderful places to eat. Close to La Porte, Galveston, and Beaumont. Would come again anytime. - Barbara Smith
Nov 2017 - $46.00
This is our 2nd stay, a one night stop on the way to south Texas for the winter. Easy access from Hwy 59 / I-69. This park is a good value based on the area it is in. Good satellite and over 100 cable tv channels. good Verizon service. Grass has filled in. Very nice dog park. Reservations would be suggested for a one night stop, as the park is almost sold out tonight. - johnwadams
Nov 2017 - $30.00
We liked almost everything about this park. I will like it even more when there is an exercise room, which I was told is coming. The staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub was nice. However the pool is a bit small and too deep for most children to stand up in. I found it kinda deep for me actually, but I'm only 5'1". Another drawback is that the rows are 30 sites long and there are no paths to walk between RVs to get to the pool and rec room. So I had to limp along 15 sites to the end of the row, then limp that far back again to the pool. A strange set up I thought. I know I'm not the only RVer with arthritis. - akpat
Feb 2017 - $20.00
This is a very new park with a few growing pains. Grass is very thin and ground gets very soft when wet. People cut site corners and are making mud problems. Not all facilities are completed yet, but new ownership is moving forward with some good plans. Hookups at the back-in sites are in very poor locations, but plans are to correct this. Small concrete patios are not convenient for most rigs positioning. Location is very good for us, as we visit family in the area every year. Lots of development of other recreational facilities near the park, so it likely will become a destination campground in coming years.
If you want the lowest price back-in sites better bring long power cords, water hoses and sewer hoses. Pull through sites are more manageable for utilities. - Grumpier99
Dec 2017 - $63.00
What a difference a year makes. Construction all done except for a couple culverts or bridges needed at two of three dog walk gates, and need a keypad at gate so you can walk or bike to the stores. Hwy 6 now qualifies as a resort.
It is really hard to find fault with anything except maybe prices. But then, the park is in a major city and a great location. What makes a difference: email package notice, fresh coffee popcorn and donuts with local paper, free fax machine in great well equipped office, quality exercise equipment, heated pool, WIDE streets, rental storage sheds, tire inflation station, propane, two outdoor kitchens, good park security, quiet neighborhood, five mile paved jogging and bike trail across the street and walk to an Aldi grocery store on the corner.
I saved the best news of all for last: Internet that works. AM PM no slow periods: amazing. Our monthly rate for a 40 foot space by the lake was $789.00. Price depends on length of RV, so you only pay for what you need. Our space was just right length for our 38 footer and room to park toad next to coach. - ctpres
May 2017 - $50.00
A good spot in west Houston. New. Clean. TV so-so. Wifi good, but slow during peak usage times. Concrete patio for car or car can go in front of rig. - rncordy
Apr 2017 - $55.00
Excellent new park with smooth, level concrete drives and pads encircling a gorgeous pond and fountain. Equally good clubhouse and pool area with exceptional laundry facilities, gym, and showers. Extremely dog friendly with multiple access points to a dog walk. There's also a dog cleaning station which is fantastic! - Outlaw Pilots
Jan 2017 - $49.00
We stayed one night in our motorhome in this park, way over priced for what is offered. We were told our 38' motorhome would fit, it was very tight, length and width. The cable didn't work, when I called they did send someone right away and he said it was a problem with our motorhome. We had been at several parks prior to there and had no problem with cable hookup. He then told me they had to have cable company at that spot last week, so I'm suspicious it's our motorhome that's the problem. We were tired from driving all day so we just went to bed. lots of noise from highway. We would not return to this park. - Butter3939
Jul 2016 - $49.00
Beautiful location, easy access from interstate, and clean. Not friendly staff if you arrive after 6:00 PM with no reservation.
Would probably stay somewhere else next time. $48.75 fee for 50 amp (tight squeeze into site #1 for 38' RV).
Paved roads. Walked dog in shade near office. - cindy d
Mar 2016 - $40.00
Very clean park, well maintained and friendly staff. Sites are large and all hookups, WiFi, etc. worked well. - senator47
Jan 2005 - $36.00
This is a mobile home park that will rent spaces to R.V. campers. The park is fairly dated, but kept clean and the staff is excellent. Located beside Hobby Airport, its a short drive to downtown Houston and all its attractions. Will visit again. - txtransplants
Oct 2017 - $43.00
Not my first choice of a campground, but this place is very clean and secure. We had reservations elsewhere, but Hurricane Harvey forced a change of plans. Cable TV, a nice pool, shower house, and club house as well. Staff was friendly. - Bob806
Oct 2017 - $30.00
Issue checking in with Super C. There is an issue with weight of RV. Distance from interstate is over 3 miles ad stop and go with lots of traffic signals. Make sure you look for their sign and turn before it. A bit confusing. Looks like u are going into a storage area. That all being said , park is beautiful easy to navigate. Level site and dutilities worked great. - hug448844
Aug 2017 - $44.00
This is one nice clean park, No dirt or sand as the patio & RV parking sites were all concrete. Power Box's were located perfectly and no brown or black outs for the 10 days I camped there. Sewer connections were clean and well maintained. The roads between the sites are wide enough to maneuver my coach and toad connected. I camp in a 45' Monaco HR with 4-Slide outs. The clubhouse very nice and clean and the pool is well kept. There is a security gate for privacy and one can enter with a remote gate controller of gate digital code. My Verizon was 4-5 Bars and LTE was excellent. My Roof Dome Dish HD picked up all 3 satellites. W/E/S were all great. There are close to 100 channels of cable which I did not use. I also did not use the off air antenna. I used my electric golf cart there and also washed my coach upon arrival. I give this RV campground 10 stars. - Fulltimer007
Nov 2016 - $26.00
Stayed here about a month. Very clean, gated park, felt very safe. Friendly staff, pretty good gym equipment. I would stay here again if i was back in the area. - Steve82
Dec 2015 - $50.00
Aside from the narrow one lane road to get to the park, the park staff and grounds are great. We have a shorter site than we like but then, it was the last monthly site for December. We had to leave another location and this was the closest to our family so we could spend Christmas with her.
Park is smaller than expected but great for walking. They have a dog walk for our critters but the code for the gate is a hassle but understandable since the park is in Houston (Pearland area). Dog pickup bags are located throughout the park in several areas. WiFi is free and through Tengo. It looks like there are a lot of people who full time in the park, but check with the office EARLY to get a prime spot. The staff is great to work with.
We will be back. - PatJ3
Apr 2015 - $50.00
Park is kept clean and manicured. Sites are level. Access road is very narrow, and is very difficult at times to turn onto connecting road, as traffic is constant. Park is very crowded, neighbors very close, not allowing much privacy, which some long- term residents tend to invade. Dog area is outside the park, unmowed, and not fenced. Many do not pick up after their dogs inside the park. Very expensive park, fees are the same as sister parks that do have pools. Power outages whenever it storms, were without electricity for two days at a time. Not many reasons to refer to it as a resort. No plans to return. Not a destination park. - Ron910
Feb 2017 - $25.00
Eight of the 10 sites are on concrete. Most of the sites appear to have long(er) term occupants, e.g. more than 2-3 nights. Best to call ahead. Lodge seems to have a regular meal schedule and Bingo on Thursday night. However, parking lot wasn't very full for any of the scheduled events while we were there. Power and water were both good. Vzn coverage was okay. - GerMarV
