Best park in the area. 10 miles to Weatherford TX which is nearest town. We had a long pull thru, concrete pad and had no trouble getting in and out, parking or leveling. Some sites have trees and the check in staff seemed to be aware of clearance requirements for different sites.

There were some potholes in the unpaved area of the park that they are working on. Took their word on it, never saw anyone working on them.

The grounds are kept trimmed and mowed. There are many long term residents. Did not use their cable, pool, or wifi. Restrooms in our area appeared to be recently remodeled. Great design. Walk in shower in a private restroom. Unfortunately, never cleaned. No toilet paper or soap either. Went to another bathroom in the park a few days later and found a sign that said no more toilet paper would be supplied because residents are stealing it. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

We spent four nights in a 44-footer with slideouts. We've stayed at Cowtown before, and have been satisfied with the park because the location is very convenient to Fort Worth, but this was an extremely disappointing stay--mainly because it was the first time we were in one of the unpaved sites in the back when it rained. The park slopes a bit towards the pack, it rained heavily, the drainage is very poor, there isn't enough gravel in the unpaved areas and the entire back of the park was a wet, muddy mess! The park definitely needs maintenance. There are concrete sites in the front of the park that can accommodate any size RV. Insist on one of them and avoid the unpaved sites if there is any chance of rain! We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Campground is kept clean. The main roads are gravel/sand with large pot holes. Some sites have concrete pads -ours didn't, so when it rained it you track sand into your rv. Internet was acceptable but slow. Everyone must exit on the main paved road in the park, however you must make a tight turn and can't avoid two trees which need serious trimming. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

There are no 5-Star RV parks in or near Fort Worth and 2-3 Stars is is the best around, and for us Cowtown was only 1-Star. This is a large place with concrete pull-through pads in front and dirt pads towards the rear. The front area looks very nice, and the folks were friendly. There is an OK pool up front. Since we were to be here a month, we asked for a concrete pad, but unfortunately all the concrete pads were taken by permanent residents except one offered to us. This concrete pad was so badly broken with deep depressions leaving us no way to park level. The site was also under a large tree with a good size dead limb overhead. We started to leave, but after reviewing comments for the other parks, decided this was the best we would get. We needed to live in our RV for the month before we could move-in a home we purchased. The dirt pads and roads were once gravel, but the gravel has long since disappeared. When it's dry there is gray dust everywhere and when wet the area turns to gray mud. It rained several times during our stay and when we left our RV was a mess. The laundry, showers, and bathrooms all need significant remodeling. I do not recommend this place unless you can get an unbroken level concrete pad up front. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Cowtown because there was no other place that could accommodate us for the length of time we wanted to be in the area. I found the staff to be curt and unhelpful. My wife got scolded for using change to buy ice on one occasion. The cable stopped working (wasn't good to start with: fuzzy, bad sound). When I told the manager he came down checked it with some kind of gadget and said "I guess it's not working". Really? It never got repaired, several of our neighbors lost it at the same time and never got it back either. When I asked at the office I was told they didn't know what was wrong with it and they would get to it eventually.

The sites are very tight and the cement pad, like most of the pads in the park, was broken up and very unlevel.

During our 2 week stay I don't think the restrooms/showers were thoroughly cleaned a single time. Their idea of cleaning is flushing the toilet and adding more toilet paper.

The road noise from I-20 is excessive even in the middle of the night.

The interior roads are atrocious. There are ruts and washes that make it really tough to navigate with or without a trailer in tow. The wooden picnic table was very warped with peeling paint. The one time I tried to use it the ants came out in force within minutes.

The park is filled with mostly full-time residents, many of whose sites are quite unkempt.

The best thing I can say about this place is it works in a pinch when all other options are unavailable. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Easy entry and registration process. Staff very friendly and efficient. Escorted to our camp site. A long pull thru for my 40' Class A towing my 18' trailer still attached. Grass surround a gravel site. FHU with 30/50A services. Cable service. Close to Fort Worth amenities. Vogt RV Center is a great service center that took care of our failing leveler jack. Park is well maintained and easy access to highway. I would stay here again if in the area. Some highway traffic noise because of proximity to the highway. A great stop over for travelers. We stayed because of the repair to our RV. Interior roads were a little close but negotiable. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is mostly a residential park, with some travelers like us. Staff was pleasant and escorted us to the site. The sites are tight, and the night we stayed was after some heavy rain. Our concrete pad was wet and the as soon as I stepped off the pad I was in mud. Called it "satisfactory, since they can't control the weather. Not a joy to hook up in, but it was just for the night. The park is right on the parallel access road along I-20 which is nice is you want accessibility, but the traffic noise is constant. We were toward the rear of the park, so it didn't keep us awake. We didn't use the cable, and didn't venture out into the mud (and it was after dark) so can't rate any of the grounds or facilities. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

We ended up staying here 9 days because of heavy rain and flooding In the region. The park had adequate drainage, so other than a lot of muddy roads and big puddles everywhere, we considered ourselves lucky. The park has lots of trees to camouflage the general shabbiness of most of the park. Our site was fine, and did not overlook the permanent residents, of which there were many with the usual stuff that seems to pile up in trailer living. Lots of places to walk our dog, and a few dog parks available. The laundry was clean. The cable reception was poor so we used our antenna with good results. In general the staff was helpful, expect the woman who managed the phone. She was curt and unfriendly. It was a convenient place to stay while visiting Ft. Worth and Dallas, with the short time we had without rain. The access road in and out was a little inconvenient, off the I-20 service road. You have to use the interstate exits to go anywhere. We would stay there again. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites are ok but the park is 90% permanent working people so it's not the same for people who travel. The pool was way up front so we didn't use and didn't ever see anyone in it. The cable was terrible, all snowy had to put the cable thru are window and hook directly to TV. Not a lot to do in the area but we were only there a few days and it was very hot. I was grateful to get one of the few big shade trees over camper. Laundry up front was clean and the dog runs were okay. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Large park close to Interstate. Our site was toward the front of the park so there was some road noise but not too bad. Cable TV was snowy so we used the satellite. Sites, while paved and long, were somewhat narrow and close to neighbor. No paved patio but nice grass between sites. Sites furnished with a table and grill. Garbage cans located every few sites. Utilities were well located and worked fine. Check-in was friendly and easy. While entry road is paved, side roads have some pot holes. While not a great park appears to be the best one close to Fort Worth. We would stay again. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here several times during the fall and winter of 2014. Great and easy check in. Main road is concrete but watch out for the large speed bumps. Other roads are gravel and full of potholes. The showers and restrooms are the cleanest and most private we have encountered, but watch your step as the tile floors can be slippery when wet. Spaces are close but manageable. Getting satellite was no problem. Best to make reservations because this is a popular campground. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

These folks know what they are doing. Though many campsites were long stay persons, there were plenty of short term campers like us. We got a concrete hardstand and had no issues with our satellite. Hookups all fine. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Is a great stop for us to see family and friends in the area and we will be back! We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is one of the better RV Parks near Fort Worth, That being said it leaves a lot to be desired. It has a paved interior road down the middle but most of the sites are on gravel roads. That wouldn't be so bad if the management would keep them up. Be prepared to shake everything you have in your rig when you drive down these roads even at the posted 7 mph speed limit. They say they don't fill the huge pot holes to keep the traffic slow??? These are some of the worst roads I've taken my rig on. In addition, the cable TV here is the worst. You are OK if you have your own satellite dish. In fact, if you want to watch TV you better have your own dish. On the bright side, the restrooms and laundry facilities are very clean. This is an OK place for a day or two. I'll try to find another RV Park the next time I come through the area. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.
