We stopped here for one night on the way to our Family Reunion. Staff was super friendly and helpful when making reservations and check in. The park was extremely clean and quiet. Our site was a concrete slab. We will definitely stay here again! We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

After visiting every RV park between Weatherford and Azle, and staying in 4, we can say without hesitation this is the best -- amenities, rate and cleanliness all considered. Access roads very easy to navigate, extra-long level gravel pull-thru sites with picnic tables, nice clubhouse, a lot of grass and trees, 3 grassy dog parks, a swimming pool (already open for the summer, although not heated), friendly and helpful management, and no run-down semi-permanent travel trailers. Wifi is strong (rare in our travels), 2 dozen cable channels, very convenient to shopping and activities, surprisingly quiet for so close to the freeway. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good experience here. Not far from Ft Worth. Nice Brookshires grocery nearby. Site clean and orderly. Looks like full timers are here -- a few with junky stuff in their spots. Easy in and out. Would stay here again We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not much appears to have been updated at Cowtown since our last visit
three years ago. The place is still clean and maintained. There are still a fair number of full-timer families. Our site was a long and reasonably level concrete pad (cracked a bit) with a grass patio. Site width is about 25 - 30'. We had enough room to park the truck after disconnecting. Water pressure was good at 50psi, 50a power was stable and wifi was decent although pokey at times. They recommend using their wifi for email and web surfing only - no streaming. Our 4g hotspot signal was 5-bar strong. They have cable TV available at no charge and OTA 80+ channels brought in just about everything except ABC channel 8. Overall, this is a convenient park that we like to use whenever visiting relatives in Ft. Worth. We will come back again. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Large park with good paved interior roads; level, concrete sites with grass in between. 3 fenced dog runs with grass; pool & playground area for kids. We requested a site in the front of park (#7); more spacious than sites farther back. We camp here when we're in the area, and will stay again. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent one night there, meeting friends after we had taken delivery of our new motor home. When contacting Cowtown, the people on the phone were very nice, and worked to accommodate a short notice schedule change necessitated by a medical issue.

When we did arrive, the entrance was nice and had concrete roads. In the BEST terms I can come up with, the roads towards the back are horrible. Numerous potholes, muddy tracks (it had rained earlier that morning and all these potholes were filled with mud and water). When we were directed to our site, it was essentially a mud pit. It really wasn't something I wanted to be in with a new RV. Also, there was a tree on the curb side that was so close, I couldn't put the slide out. That necessitated backing up through the mud and repositioning the coach as far to the left as we could. Even with that, we couldn't put out the awning.

I was finally able to get the entry door into an area that did have some caliche and a little bit of grass so that we didn't track in mud every time we came inside.

The arrangement on our site made reaching both electric and sewer difficult. If we pulled forward far enough to get to the electric, the sewer connection was out of reach behind the coach. IMHO, not a well thought out arrangement at all. Wifi was acceptable but slow.

Leaving the following day was another adventure in driving through muddy potholes. The exit drive was so muddy that in trying to avoid the potholes, I had to make a turn that had a large tree on the inside of the turn, and received a long limb scrape along the side of the coach.

In general, I was really disappointed with Cowtown RV. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Best park in the area. 10 miles to Weatherford TX which is nearest town. We had a long pull thru, concrete pad and had no trouble getting in and out, parking or leveling. Some sites have trees and the check in staff seemed to be aware of clearance requirements for different sites.

There were some potholes in the unpaved area of the park that they are working on. Took their word on it, never saw anyone working on them.

The grounds are kept trimmed and mowed. There are many long term residents. Did not use their cable, pool, or wifi. Restrooms in our area appeared to be recently remodeled. Great design. Walk in shower in a private restroom. Unfortunately, never cleaned. No toilet paper or soap either. Went to another bathroom in the park a few days later and found a sign that said no more toilet paper would be supplied because residents are stealing it. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here before. Had a long pull-thru site so we didn't have to unhook our Jeep. Park could use some maintenance on the roads. Our site was gravel. Had several dog park areas which could stand to be mowed. Appears to have more seasonal/residential sites on concrete pads than gravel. It was fine for our one night passing thru the area. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

We spent four nights in a 44-footer with slideouts. We've stayed at Cowtown before, and have been satisfied with the park because the location is very convenient to Fort Worth, but this was an extremely disappointing stay--mainly because it was the first time we were in one of the unpaved sites in the back when it rained. The park slopes a bit towards the pack, it rained heavily, the drainage is very poor, there isn't enough gravel in the unpaved areas and the entire back of the park was a wet, muddy mess! The park definitely needs maintenance. There are concrete sites in the front of the park that can accommodate any size RV. Insist on one of them and avoid the unpaved sites if there is any chance of rain! We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Campground is kept clean. The main roads are gravel/sand with large pot holes. Some sites have concrete pads -ours didn't, so when it rained it you track sand into your rv. Internet was acceptable but slow. Everyone must exit on the main paved road in the park, however you must make a tight turn and can't avoid two trees which need serious trimming. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

There are no 5-Star RV parks in or near Fort Worth and 2-3 Stars is is the best around, and for us Cowtown was only 1-Star. This is a large place with concrete pull-through pads in front and dirt pads towards the rear. The front area looks very nice, and the folks were friendly. There is an OK pool up front. Since we were to be here a month, we asked for a concrete pad, but unfortunately all the concrete pads were taken by permanent residents except one offered to us. This concrete pad was so badly broken with deep depressions leaving us no way to park level. The site was also under a large tree with a good size dead limb overhead. We started to leave, but after reviewing comments for the other parks, decided this was the best we would get. We needed to live in our RV for the month before we could move-in a home we purchased. The dirt pads and roads were once gravel, but the gravel has long since disappeared. When it's dry there is gray dust everywhere and when wet the area turns to gray mud. It rained several times during our stay and when we left our RV was a mess. The laundry, showers, and bathrooms all need significant remodeling. I do not recommend this place unless you can get an unbroken level concrete pad up front. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Cowtown because there was no other place that could accommodate us for the length of time we wanted to be in the area. I found the staff to be curt and unhelpful. My wife got scolded for using change to buy ice on one occasion. The cable stopped working (wasn't good to start with: fuzzy, bad sound). When I told the manager he came down checked it with some kind of gadget and said "I guess it's not working". Really? It never got repaired, several of our neighbors lost it at the same time and never got it back either. When I asked at the office I was told they didn't know what was wrong with it and they would get to it eventually.

The sites are very tight and the cement pad, like most of the pads in the park, was broken up and very unlevel.

During our 2 week stay I don't think the restrooms/showers were thoroughly cleaned a single time. Their idea of cleaning is flushing the toilet and adding more toilet paper.

The road noise from I-20 is excessive even in the middle of the night.

The interior roads are atrocious. There are ruts and washes that make it really tough to navigate with or without a trailer in tow. The wooden picnic table was very warped with peeling paint. The one time I tried to use it the ants came out in force within minutes.

The park is filled with mostly full-time residents, many of whose sites are quite unkempt.

The best thing I can say about this place is it works in a pinch when all other options are unavailable. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Easy entry and registration process. Staff very friendly and efficient. Escorted to our camp site. A long pull thru for my 40' Class A towing my 18' trailer still attached. Grass surround a gravel site. FHU with 30/50A services. Cable service. Close to Fort Worth amenities. Vogt RV Center is a great service center that took care of our failing leveler jack. Park is well maintained and easy access to highway. I would stay here again if in the area. Some highway traffic noise because of proximity to the highway. A great stop over for travelers. We stayed because of the repair to our RV. Interior roads were a little close but negotiable. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is mostly a residential park, with some travelers like us. Staff was pleasant and escorted us to the site. The sites are tight, and the night we stayed was after some heavy rain. Our concrete pad was wet and the as soon as I stepped off the pad I was in mud. Called it "satisfactory, since they can't control the weather. Not a joy to hook up in, but it was just for the night. The park is right on the parallel access road along I-20 which is nice is you want accessibility, but the traffic noise is constant. We were toward the rear of the park, so it didn't keep us awake. We didn't use the cable, and didn't venture out into the mud (and it was after dark) so can't rate any of the grounds or facilities. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.
