Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $19.00
Located about 3 miles west of I-35W(Exit 26) on the south side of US Hwy. 67. If eastbound on Hwy. 67, turn right into the park. If westbound on Hwy. 67, you must be in the left turn lane & do a U-turn to get in to the park. Hwy. 67 is a 4 lane divided highway, so there is ample room to do a U-turn. This is an older park & most sites are somewhat narrow. There are many long term residents. The park has ample power & water pressure. No cable TV, but lots of channels available with the roof antenna. Utilities are conveniently located on the sites. Most sites share a pedestal, therefore most campers are set up with doors facing each other. Wifi worked well during our stay. The staff was very friendly & helpful. While not a destination resort, this park served our purposes well, & we would return again when in this area. We camped at Stewart's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
We were really enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with the RV Park. The owners were really friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and the Tuesday night gospel music was GREAT! We will definitely stay there every time we get close to Alvarado. We camped at Stewart's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $16.00
We stayed here for a week in March 2014. Nice level asphalt site with shade trees. Wi-Fi was good. It's not a destination park, but it's a great deal for the price. $16 per night or $80 per week. Great layover when traveling down I-35. I will stay here again. We stayed in a 5th wheel. We camped at Stewart's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
We spent one night there on way to Fort Worth. Texas Campground ad indicated that it was a fairly decent park. Spaces are crowded and all other rigs have been there for a long time. Many had insulation on water hoses. Spots are not level and not designed for anything over 28 feet. Trailers were in bad shape and there were some construction workers staying there while working locally. This is a poor place to stay. We camped at Stewart's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
