Although this park is small, the staff is very friendly, the park is clean, and we'll taken care of. The restaurant next door was pretty good. I would definitely stay here again. - The Green Monster
Apr 2013 - $12.00
Price reflects a monthly rate (electric is metered for monthlies). This is a brand new park. In fact, we are the first people to use the site we are in. It's filling up with monthlies. Roads and pads are crushed concrete. There is a restaurant and laundry on site. The owners are friendly and anxious to please. The address is Angleton, but the small community of Danbury is a couple of minutes away. It has a library, Dollar Store, post office, etc. - nazpaz

We had passed this park several times on the way to San Leon and decided to make a weekend trip getaway. Park was nice. Pads were gravel and very spacious. Camp host extremely accommodating and hospitable. Told us to just pick out where we wanted to stay! Chose to pick a site that overlooked the bayou and it was absolutely gorgeous. Not a lot of shade and unfortunately it was very windy and couldn't use the awming. Neighbor said it's "always" windy. There appeared to be a lot of long timers at the park. Not necessarily a bad thing. They were very friendly. The only two thumbs down: the tap water was disgusting. Had to make a run for bottled water. Second was that the rules weren't enforced as it relates to pets. A couple of dogs were running loose and "Mr. B" did his business behind our trailer. Other than that, very quiet and serene. There were no family activities that I saw. Especially since the sign near the bayou said "Swim at your own risk. Watch for alligators." (We didn't see any.) Nice place for sitting, relaxing and soaking up some sun. Restrooms and showers were immaculant, even though we didn't use. I just thought I'd check them out for the review. We'll be back. - Curfman
Mar 2010 - $30.00
Relatively new park. Still needs some tweaking. Pad sites are soft loose gravel. Good rules in place but not enforced. Lots of long term residents with lots of personal junk around trailers. Not controlling or monitoring pet waste/pooh pick up. Be careful where you step. Park has lots of potential and friendly managers. - boywonder

Jun 2011 - $20.00
Nice country park in the middle of rice farming. The park has a nice 9 hole course that we played 3 times. The course has a few water hazards but no sand traps at all. The company runs a crop dusting service and they start flying at first light, so you have a nice alarm clock. The site we had was a level pull-through with gravel and grass. They have creative pricing for weekly stays. You get 7 days and 6 nights for your weekly rate that cost $5 more than 6 nights. Go figure. I'd stay here again but would opt out of the weekly rate and save the $5 next time. - Bill Bell
Apr 2010 - $18.00
Can’t believe this park hasn’t been reviewed since 2006. Small park, with mostly long-term residents but well kept. The pull-through we were in was long enough for our 40’ coach with room to spare. All sites are rock with grassy area. Most have picnic tables. All are full-hook-up with 50 Amp service. Some trees but they do not interfere with the spaces. No longer have Wi-Fi or free washers/dryers and adjacent golf course is only 9 holes. Management is very friendly and helpful. Being out in the country, it is very quite. Good reception for both AT&T cell and Verizon wireless mobile broadband. Golf course can play tough when the wind is blowing, which according to our neighbors who have been here for a couple months, it almost always does. Being golfers, would definitely stay here again. - rvtravler2009
Jul 2006 - $15.00
Park is out in the country, about 3 miles north of TX35, just outside Danbury. It is surrounded by a huge rice farm and next door to an 18 hole golf course. There are 8 pull-thrus and 15 back-ins. The pull-thrus are pretty short and the back-ins are really long (easy to park two cars in front of coach). All sites are full hookup with 50 amp service. Sites are gravel surrounded by grass and nicely maintained. Back-ins sites all have a picnic table beside them. Most sites are filled with long-termers. Trees around the edge but not by the sites. Nice views and friendly hosts. Two fishing ponds and a creek runs by the north side. Pet friendly if you keep them on a lease and pick up their "leavings." Free WiFi and two free washers & dryers and free showers. Rates are $15/87.50/350 and all inclusive. We stayed here in a 40 ft motorhome for 2 months in 2006. - r.boylan

Jan 2017 - $53.00
Nice level concrete pads, big park, some permanent residents, pull through was ample for 40ft MH and a car.. Dog park was actually in a cow pasture which is ok, but not fenced in from the cows... can't let dogs run...very clean, nice areas around lake that had fire pits...not much to do in Brazoria after going to the beach to see the ocean... Galveston not too far away.... - candivan57

This park is amazing!! The amenities are awesome. They have everything you could ever need. They have golf carts for rent, free dog baths, pool, lake side sites, etc. The personnel is way beyond friendly. They were awesome. We loved our stay and were treated like gold. Way to go Bazoria Lake RV campground!!!!! - Debby W
Sep 2016 - $50.00
Greedy, rude owners. NO Wifi! Green Algea in their water! Several campers damaged here, & They have you sign away their liability for your damages at check in. Still under loud construction, equipment and workers. Worst place we've stayed!
They charge the highest per kilowatt in this area. With No Shade, Power bills are close to $300 a month!
Ongoing Sewer problems. They've left a hole full of water and exposed pipe not properly roped off for a month now.
Mowers come thru in shifts so it takes all day Sat, with noise and grass trimmings everywhere from 7:30 -6.
Any complaints will be directed to the corporate office, who will not return your calls. - Camper777

Mar 2013 - $35.00
We stumbled on this place online late one night and decided to give them a call. The owner answered the phone despite how late it was and welcomed us to come on. Probably the quietest RV Park in the area. We have stayed at others but did not find the same atmosphere. There is more than enough space between RV's. Some of the permanent residents on the park even have their own porches that they were allowed to build. Others have nicely fenced in area for pets around their RV. Not many RV Parks have enough room between trailers for a fence, a porch, parking and still have room to walk around the trailer. There are quite a few large shade trees as well. The owner lives on the park in the a white two story house at the front of the park. Their rates are great as well. We stayed a week and then decided to stay a month. - Fa11Guy
Oct 2010 - $25.00
We made a reservation the day before with the owner to stay here. We asked about pets and he clearly said dogs need to be contained. It's not the size of the dog that is important. Then he said hey I gotta go, my dog is loose. That should have been our first clue to not stay here. Upon arrival, the owners were not on property and there was no phone number to call and no one to talk with. We found a maintenance guy who was very nice but didn't have a clue where we were supposed to be, and the sites were not marked at all. We walked around the property and realized the place was in horrible condition and half the meters didn't work. Then we found the water was off on many of the sites. There are many full-timers at the back of the campground. The maintenance guy said we needed to wait about 30 minutes for the owners to return. We waited for a while and then decided this place was too big of a dump and the owners obviously didn't really want our business. We went to another campground and were very glad we did. We would not recommend this campground. - music mama

Dec 2016 - $45.00
Do not make a reservation here unless you want to lose your money. My husband and I have been RVing for 16 years. We have never encountered an owner less ethical or unprofessonal. We made a reservation on Dec 21 for Dec 26 thru 30. We had to pay in full in advance. The next day due to unforseen circumstances we had to cancel our reservation. The manager was very nice and said we would have to talk with the owner who was out of the country. On talking with the owner he said no refund because we had not cancelled 7 days in advance. That was impossible because we had not made the reservation until 5 days in advance. He took the full amount for the 5 days. Beware! - Kathryn Sprinkle

Nightly rate reflects monthly charge plus electric. We were in the rv park for almost 7 weeks & I wish we could have stayed much longer. Friendly, helpful folks who always have a minute to chat & are ready to assist in any way necessary. And there's banana trees!! It's a small park, but plenty of space between campers. We loved it here & would definitely recommend it. - hippichik

Quiet wooded park with shade trees over all sites. On-site management. Surrounded on three sides by a creek with good saltwater fishing. Free wi-fi. Very close to my job site at the LNG plant and less than 1 mile to shuttle parking. The manager is very friendly and responsive. Will fefinitely stay here again if I'm back in the area. - Velociraptor
