The restroom was much like a mobile home, one shower. The dog run had poop all over, and not picked up. Trash was around and not picked up. The manager took his dog to do its business by the trash dumpster and did not pick up the poop. The park is a large gravel lot with fairly spacious sites. Plenty of room for the trailer and truck. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is a gravel street and gravel site park. The sites are level and have full hookups including 3 different dump locations on each site. They have a new dog park and children play area. Both of these areas are kept watered and have grass. The park has a small house trailer which serves as an office, laundry (4 washers and 4 dryers), and small shower house with two rooms -- each room with a toilet and shower. The showers have hard to regulate heat controls and no mat or disposable paper mat as in days past. The park has containers for doggy bags at several places but often had no bags in them. You're supposed to dump your garbage into a dumpster in one corner of the park. It was way overloaded when we were there and piled high with stinking garbage in the heat. For 41 dollars a night the park should know better than to cheap it out with crappy garbage service, few dog bags, and crappy water temp controls. They need more than two showers for a park this size. The park is well located between Las Cruces, NM and El Paso but is over priced. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't come here if you want a "resort" for 41 dollar per. It is dusty and usually windy. The staff is very helpful! Bring your own plastic bags for your dog. There are several longer term workers in the area who live in the park. They were all very responsible, quiet, and friendly every time we came. Most sites were pull through except along the perimeter.

Big spaces, plenty long and wide pull throughs. Plenty of maneuvering room for the big rigs. Would also be a good place to stay if you needed work done on your rig at Camping World which is immediately adjacent. BUT--unless you're a real desert lover, this park is good for a one night stay at best. Lots of wind which kicks up the dust continually. Entire campground is small gravel, dirt and dust. Scenery is pretty much limited to a scrubby desert and part of the Franklin Mtns in the near distance. It's also located in an grimy industrial part of town. Not sure we'd stay here again. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.

Internal roads are wide and gravel, sites are gravel, mostly level (needed one leveling board) and most are pull-throughs, facilities worked well and are conveniently located. Site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, park WiFi is free/unsecured and worked well. T-Mobile and Tracfone cell service was 4G LTE. The park was quiet. The cost is a little much considering it is just a large serviced gravel parking lot. We would stay here again. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.

More of a parking lot for the adjacent Camping World than an RV park, especially not a KOA. Poor road signage, no trees, no grass, no paved roads, constant dust/dirt blowing. If I had seen a picture I definitely would have passed this place by. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Park. Wide, gravel interior roads and mostly level, gravel, roomy sites (both long and wide). RV Park area sits far enough behind Camping World and I-10 that its really pretty quiet. It even offers a mountain view. They have a nice playground, and a large, new Dog Park (with grass) which our dogs enjoyed. We would stay here again. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.

Big expensive parking lot. Huge open sites and easy access but expensive. Next door to a small camping world. Needed a layover on I-10 so good for that but nothing else. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.

KOA park right next door to a huge Camping World at the north end of El Paso, just off I-10W. Sites are nice and long, and relatively wide. It was like camping in a gravel parking lot. No grass except for dog park. Utilities were easily accessible, and there were 3 different sewer hookups to choose from depending on where your sewer connection was. Park is good for an overnight stop, but wouldn't want to "live" there full time. Nice views of the surrounding mountains, but lots of highway noise if your doors/windows are open. Easy in and out, and very big rig friendly. Pet owners, beware of the dog park, apparently not everyone cleans up after their pets as they are supposed to. Numerous little dog poopies and a few "big dog" treasures as well. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.

As others have reported this is a large, open campground with no shade and no real ammenities other than laundry and showers. However, as an overnight spot it was adequate, easy access to I-10 and close to RV services, fuel, restaurants, etc. Our site was spacious, easy in/out and level. The laundry and restroom/showers are located in a small building at the entrance with the office. We would camp here again if passing thru El Paso. A huge gravel parking lot with not one single tree! No amenities other than laundry - pricey for what you get. Pipeline workers were most of the residents. Located behind a Camping World, which was convenient. Good for checking out the El Paso area! No WiFi. Air TV. I am surprised that this park was accepted into the KOA system as it has almost none of the amenities you would normally expect from a KOA yet was priced comparable to most KOAs. The office is a temporary building. There is no cable, the wifi is OK but not great, no kids area, no doggy park although it is "under construction", and, worst of all, no ICE. This is west Texas after all. The 2 stars on cleanliness comes from all the trash and garbage around the edges of the park (such as beans, sliced cheese, avocados, charcoal ashes). Walking the dogs was an adventure making sure they did not get into other folks leavings. We stayed 3 nights this time as there were some things of interest we wanted to see in El Paso. The location is convenient to I-10 and we might stay here again for one night only unless there are some amenities to go with the price being paid. Otherwise you get as much ambiance in a Wal-Mart parking lot. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.

Very desert looking environment. Big wind at night; didn't get much sleep due to the wind. The campground was sparse - not too many amenities but the grounds were clean and the spaces were large. We walked around the campground in the evening and were warned to stay on the road and look out for rattle snakes! We didn't see any snakes. The people in the office were very friendly and helpful. Good TV channels. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you like Tamales, there is only one place to go and it's located about 5 minutes from the park. It's Tamales Lupita. Not a restaurant - take out only, but you can get one or a half dozen or a dozen. Best tamales ever!!! I sampled the traditional red, the chicken, and the cheese--all were so good!

As others have said this is much like a giant parking lot. Utilities worked well. The key point I would make is it is very, very dusty. Every vehicle that drives through kicks up a big cloud not to mention what the wind does. The Wifi worked well at times and other times (probably when a lot of people on) not well. Large enough sites (length and width) for any size rig with lots of room to maneuver. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.
