We stayed here for 3 nights with our 33 ft 5th wheel on our way back home from visiting family in St Louis. Largish park (161 spaces) but narrow streets. Also narrow and very oddly shaped pads. Some spots will be a problem for rigs bigger than ours! Our spot was near the propane area which made me kind of nervous (but at least we weren't in one of the sites near the dump site or the dumpster). And our spot was on kind of a slope which made leveling tricky on a gravel site. Lots of good places to eat nearby though. Adequate Wifi for minimal surfing/texting/emailing. NOT good enough to stream movies! Very shady and quiet which was nice. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Had an event in Arlington, so we stayed here for 4 nights. Made reservations over the phone, told them we needed the biggest site in the place, we are 67 feet long, person on phone said no problem, will put you in site 160. When we pulled in to check in the attendant said wow, y'all are big, asked our name, soon as we told him he said yea, you wont fit in the site we have for you. Took an hour of shuffling for the front desk person to find us a site we could fit into, of course the park was sold out. When asked why they gave away our site we originally booked, was told they person who booked us did not put notes in the computer, so they gave our big site to someone else. Makes you wonder why they bother to assign a site number to you when you make your reservations if they are just going to give your site away anyhow. Outside of the front desk/reservation staff being worthless, the park is fine, clean, and well maintained. The guy who takes you to your site was super nice, helped us get into site, and checked back later to make sure everything was good. Would we stay here again, probably as options are limited in this area, but would make sure to lock down in blood our site before we got here. The place is overpriced for what you get, this should be a max $40/night deal. They also kind of stick it to you if you are passport america, they will only let you get 2 nights with the PPA rate which is $26, and only Sunday-Thurs. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We love this campground for the location, atmosphere, cleanliness, pool, quietness, just about everything. At the time we were there there was no cable TV due to the park changing suppliers but that was a minor issue for us. Spent an afternoon at the pool and we were the only guests there. It was like the pool was our own and it had a great shaded area with tables and chairs. Internet service was great, never had any problems connecting with quick response time. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a large shopping mall just off Cooper and I-20. There are plenty of diesel gas stations in the area, we liked 2 over on Bowen just north of I-20. There are plenty of restaurants in the area along with all kinds of shopping. A new IKEA store will be opening soon not far from the campground.

We stayed here from 6-2 thru 6-7. We received a Military discount. We were in site 123 and it was spacious. The park is very shaded. We did not get a chance to use the pool but it appeared nice when we went and looked. The laundry facility was clean, it had about 7 or 8 front load washers which were of medium capacity. There were about 12 dryers of the same capacity. You will need to bring your own change as there is no change machine in the facility. There is a small dog trail with a fenced area for dogs to play. It has turf and not grass in the enclosure. The park is very clean and quite and is actually a very pretty park. There are full time residents but the sites are kept very neat. You actually wouldn't know some of the residents are full time except that some have small portable buildings and some have permanent looking steps. Again, the residents keep their space very neat and tidy. I would definitely stay here again when the opportunity rises. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This is in Arlington TX so there is plenty of shopping (Parks Mall down the Rd) such as Walmart, Target. It is close to I20. Keep in mind that the DFW area is big so during "going to work hours" and "getting off work" hours it can get congested. There is plenty to such as 6 Flags, professional sporting events and water park.

Have stayed here twice now in site #120 - a premium site that is extra large on the end of a row. Love the quiet, shady setting of this park right in the middle of Arlington close to loads of restaurants and shopping. Note - the best route in is to Exit Cooper off of I-20, go north about a mile to Arbrook Blvd, turn left, go to the 4 way stop and turn right on Melear and then make a quick left into the park. Pull to the right and park here as you walk up the hill to your left to the office. Otherwise you have to go back out of the park and come back around and in to drive to your site - a bit of a hassle if you're in a big rig. Not a big deal once you figure it out. Also a nice, little dog park with fake grass in a shady area. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Big rig friendly. The campground is very hilly but the sites are level. Showers, laundry, and wifi were good. We did not use the cable but our satellite worked fine. Dog park was small but very important for our dog. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here to visit a relative who lived nearby. We arrived late Friday afternoon, and the office was going to be closed all weekend. The staff was very helpful, especially the man who helped shoe horn our rig into a spot that was an odd angle from the road and up hill from the road. The campground is very pretty and well cared for. Many sites have been fixed up by the residents. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park. We stayed one night as we were passing through. Sites all looked fairly level. Be careful following your GPS from I20.....it might take you through some low level trees. Easy to maneuver our 45' MH to our space. Park provided an escort. Recycling was available onsite which is something we always look for. We'll stay again. In this very large but quiet, suburban rv park, sites are nestled among mature oak trees. Sites are gravel; roads within the park are asphalt. There are a variety of lengths (back-in and pull-through) among the multitude of sites. Many of the sites are sloped, so it may be a concern if you have a longer rig. Luckily there was enough level ground in our pull-through "Presidential Site" (#119) to accommodate our 45' coach. The location of this particular site allowed for a somewhat private setting, complete with a picnic table, small gas BBQ and grill, and water feature. Note: Due to the canopy of the mature oaks, the use of our roof-mounted satellite dish was not possible. (We noticed that many of the more permanent residents had placed their satellite dishes on stands and moved them to open areas.) However, we were able to receive HD channels with our air antenna. The RV park does offer the free use of cable TV boxes in order to view HD cable. Additional amenities at the park include Internet, restrooms/laundry, and swimming pool (very cold during our March stay). The park's location is very convenient and we would stay here again. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park is mostly filled with permanents/semi-permanents. There are 161 sites. However the park is nice. The sites are under cover of numerous trees and probably should be trimmed. During our stay we had two tornado warnings and it was disconcerting with all the numerous old trees hanging over our RV's roof. The park is located close to a large shopping mall. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed at Treetops for the first time just before Christmas 2016. There are pros and cons, but overall I thought it was pretty nice and will likely stay there again. First the pros. It's in a great location. It's only a few minutes away from a major shopping/restaurant area, so it's easy to get to multiple places to eat or shop. Yet at the same time, the park is very quiet and feels more like a rural park, even though it's in the middle of a metropolitan area. The staff was also very friendly. Most of the people there are residents, so there are not many overnighters. But the locals are friendly and everything felt very clean. There are a lot of trees, which is both a pro and a con. The trees looks really nice and make it feel like a park, but the downside is I wasn't able to get any satellite reception (I have 2 different dishes on my roof, and neither one was able to get a signal). The main negative thing I would say is the park is a little difficult to navigate in a large rig (I have a 45' motorhome). Unfortunately, I didn't arrive until after dark, and I would definitely recommend trying to arrive during daylight hours if you're going for the first time. The park is pretty dark at night, and with the trees can be difficult to navigate in the dark. Overall, though, I recommend it to anyone staying in the Arlington area. It's close to all the major attractions in the area. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Motorhome.
