We camped here overnight in a 40' motorhome with a toad during the off season and were the only ones in the park. First 2 electrical hook ups would not let me connect with a Surge Guard Protector so I would highly recommend the use of one or do not plug in. You could "smoke" the electronics in your rig. The 3rd one the breaker did not turn on but the 4th one did. We never did find the dump site. The $15 per night is quite a bit high for just parking for the night. If you have satellite you will most likely not get a signal and we did not find any local TV stations. We cannot recommend this park. We camped at Ballinger City Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Stayed here in off season. It was great. We were the only ones here. Clean & quiet. Restrooms are lacking and dump facility is inconvenient. But this is a great bargain. Thinking during season with the pool open, it would be crowded. Will stay again. We camped at Ballinger City Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Great little park with plenty of things for the kids to do from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The pool is huge and clean. Putt-putt golf and snow cones are near the end of the park. A few sights by the stream but more are located in a field. Covered park area for the kids. The park has upgraded with 50 AMP power. A great location with plenty to do and close to town if needed. Gets busy during Memorial Day weekend. Restrooms are the downside - they need to have regular cleaning service when busy. We camped at Ballinger City Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is not a good place to stay, it is nothing but an levy beside a stream with water that you can't drink, electric power on poles that you need a very long cord to plug in. There are small trees but no shade. The park is open 24/7 and there are people coming and going at all hours. Needless to say I will not stay there again. This City Park was a disappointment compared to other City Parks we've stayed. The park itself was nice enough with a beautiful pool, but the RV facilities were poor. It had rained the night before and created very muddy spots though the ground was flat. Trailers park parallel around an oval circle. Tree branches interfered with getting close as well as new arrivals having to possibly parallel park their rig. The electric box was also in poor shape. We would have had to move on if it had not been for an electrician who was parked next to us who attempted to fix it. We finally switched boxes. And the bathhouse was as poor as I've ever seen - metal toilets with no doors - not to mention just plain filthy. Staying just one night, we just used our rig. The city water was not that good either. $15 was not worth it. We would stay in a regular RV park if ever traveling through Ballinger again. We camped at Ballinger City Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

They have upgraded to 50 amp elec on two of the posts, accessible from both sides of post. It is a great over night stop in a pleasant town. We camped at Ballinger City Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a wonderfully quaint park contained within the city park. We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is no sewer, but a dump station is available. We were also told the city plans to update the electric to include 50 amp as well. Nice little known park. We camped at Ballinger City Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
