In transit so stayed only one night. Nice level site, we did not need to disconnect our tow vehicle. Cash or check for payment, credit cards accepted for an additional charge. We were happy with our campsite and the campground in general. Will definitely come back some time in the future. Easy access from 77. My rating is based on my own bias of looking for easy access with a level site. We camped at Colorado River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is the most decrepit park that I have stayed in since I have been traveling in a motorhome! This was probably a nice park way back when, but there has not been any maintenance in years. The facility is filled with rundown trailers with "stuff" all around them and weeds growing under. Trash was never picked up while we were there and the bins were running over! It did have FHU so that was a plus. The road leading in is full of potholes. No checks or credit cards, cash only! We had to stay there as we had a maintenance problem that was resolved on Saturday. I would not recommend this park to anyone! We camped at Colorado River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We did not stay here. I checked out the park two weeks before the Austin F1 race. At that time the gravel road into the park looked like a war zone (some of the potholes appeared to be a foot deep) and I was afraid that it would twist my coach's chassis. The price quoted me seems high for the condition of the park; it was basically a pasture with gravel roads. The sites were large and quite spacious. The park is close to the highway, but there did not seem to be much traffic on the road. We camped at Colorado River RV Park in a Motorhome.

OK for overnight stop. Open field with gravel/dirt roads. We were led to our site. Water & power OK, didn't use sewer for 1 night. Rooftop dish worked, few trees, and Sprint cell & hotspot worked. Several families, few with children, are living there. Quiet. We camped at Colorado River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Seems like the park is in the middle of nowhere but was reasonably along our route to try it. At the PA rate, it was worth the stop. Check-in was easy and friendly. We were guided to our site. The sites and roads are gravel, dirt and probably a mess in the rain but was dry for our stay. Our site was level so we did not have to put down the levelers. Small amount of traffic on FM 969 but not intrusive. This was a good stop for us for an overnight. We would stay here again. We camped at Colorado River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not quite a resort, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The roads are not paved, they were gravel/mud. The sites are pretty level, they seem to be asphalt overgrown with grass. Sites were wide and plenty long. The price was right, CCU discount was given for all three days. The road noise was annoying from 969 which is adjacent to the park, might better during the summer when running AC. Seasonal/Permanent residents were scattered throughout the park, some had storage sheds and other equipment around RVs, would be better to have them in one area, some seemed to come and go at all hours. Ongoing construction is apparent. Would stay here again, but will try somewhere else next trip. We camped at Colorado River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful campground on the Colorado River in Bastrop. Nice area to visit and close for day trips to Austin. Very well maintained with concrete pads. One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at in Texas. Pull-throughs for easy overnights and plenty of room for long stays. We stayed for 1 week. We will stop here again. We camped at Colorado River RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is still being developed. Friendly staff, some paved roads & level sites, easy access & maneuvering, almost all sites are pull-thrus. Good water pressure & site layouts, country setting. Colorado River access, near boat ramp. No shade, few amenities, some road noise and a few long timers. We camped at Colorado River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
