Nice park with a park-like setting. Lots of large old oak trees, some nice planted areas. Very quiet except for a bit of road noise from Hwy 90 - otherwise it would have been perfect. Mostly full timers, but very well kept. I think it is adult only so that may be a problem for some people. Sites are gravel and well packed but road is paved so there was no dust. - DYK 640

Arrived after hours and the office was closed. Found a site near the showers / restrooms, but needed a combination to use them. A friendly couple provided us with the combination and Wi-Fi password.
Nice park, very quiet. Mostly full-timers or snowbirds. Walmart close by and a few restaurants within walking distance. - thetravelkids

A relaxing park-like setting with large live oak trees, grassy common area and level spaces. Check-in was with a super administrator (a credit to the park). Some pull-thrus were even long enough that we had one to accommodate our 40-footer plus 'toad'. Difficult to get satellite coverage, but cable and wifi services provided. - SeenAll50

We rolled in at the end of a long day and we stayed an extra day to decompress a bit. Nice, quiet and deer every where. On the banks of the Nueces ( Newaces ) River. Very friendly crew. Thanks ladies !! Very nice facility and will stay again when I'm in the area. - BigBob16

The park is beautiful and quiet as can be. It is a wonderful place to spend the night, or even a week I imagine. there is plenty of wild life to watch, and after dark, it is totally quiet! Only downside was that our cable was all fuzz and since we were only staying one night, not really worth trying to string new cable. Also the Tengo wi-fi never did come in, although we tried several times. We didn't call the office about that part, again, as we were only here one night, we didn't care. Would definitely come here again! - Rusty Quilter

Nice long sites with lots of grass around. Much nicer than other parks in the oilfields. Large clubhouse with TV, billiards, gym, books, picnic tables, BBQs, kitchen, laundry room, and bathrooms with showers. Lots of deer around. Has ponds and river access with fishing. Very nice staff who understand the needs of oilfield gate guards. Country setting but close to town. Some RV parts in office. Hiking trail is easy and well shaded though it needs some maintenance. Second laundry facility with change machine up front. - Katrina
