I picked Gulf Coast after looking at crime statistics for Beaumont, TX. This resort is secure, clean and has nice a laundry facility. Wow, the dryer runs forever ! Anyway, we needed a few items at Walmart. We were in the store for 20 minutes and somebody stole our Nevada license plate...2000 miles from home. Yikes! Filed a report online with Beaumont PD and have not heard back from them yet. We couldn't wait to leave for Village Creek State Park the next day. Not a bad reflection upon Gulf Creek at all. They were great. We just want to alert folks that Torx license plate screws were purchased immediately. Tell a friend. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

If you are looking just for a safe spot to park and want a pool, this is a good spot. It's hard to criticize the campground because they do have decent water pressure, 50 amp hookups, sewer in a convenient location, and a sparkling clean pool. They also have a playground for kids but it had yellow tape around it and was closed. This isn't the friendliest place we've ever been. People don't even smile around here unless you engage them in a conversation, then they kind of warm up. It advertises a free breakfast, and the girl in the office told me she thought it was a very good one, but when I went in to eat, all there was was starches and carbs. No eggs, no sausage, bacon, cheese...just donuts, bagels, waffles, cereal, biscuits with white gravy and the usual drinks. I wish they had at least had some powdered scrambled eggs or real eggs. I guess I should have eaten in the rv before we closed it up to travel. Anyways, the sites are all concrete and level and spacious. It's close to I-10 so you hear road noise, but not too bad inside. There was a LOUD train in the afternoon, which made me think there would be some at night, but I never heard one in the night. There were no trees at the sites, just around the buildings. It actually looked like an rv storage lot when we first pulled in. All the roads were concrete and in good condition. The exercise room they advertise consisted of one very noisy recumbent bike and an elyptical machine that I didn't try. It's situated in a room labeled as the library. It was nice and cool and clean in there. You have to use a security keycard to get into any of the rooms, and there is a box outside the main office to put it in when you leave. Small gift shop in the main office looked clean. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The is an RV park, not a campground. It has FHU sites that are fairly close to each other. The WiFi was mostly usable and the cable was OK. I did not "camp here in a motorhome". I stayed here in a motorhome! We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was perfect for an overnight stay and allowed us to do a couple of loads of laundry. We pulled in after hours and the park manager's husband came out and offered us a place near his home to park our truck and trailer. He was very gracious. Later we realized the pad was long enough for the 29 ft RV as well as the truck and trailer. Right off I-10. Park well laid out with roomy roads and concrete pads with picnic tables. Pad was plenty wide for slide outs. Sidewalks run through the middle of the park for easy access to facilities at the front. Pool looked nice. A sign said complimentary bikes were available for guests. We also heard breakfast was free but didn't go as we heard there were few gluten free options. Laundry room small but good washers and a real value at 1.00 a wash. We washed at 8 pm on a Saturday and did not have to wait for a washer. No problems with full hook up but did not try TV. Good Verizon cell signal. We will stay here again as it was easy, safe, had roomy individual shower rooms and good washers, was fairly inexpensive and felt friendly. The only problem we found was there was no comfortable place to sit and watch washing laundry. There was a chair outside but Texas is hot!!! An inside waiting area would have improved the experience. Also, a sports field adjoins the back of the park. We were on the back row and did not find it to be an issue but there were lights on the field and cheering for an hour or so after dark. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A real jewel of a park. Easy access from 1-10, yet far enough away not to hear the traffic noise. All pull-through sites, big enough to easily handle big rigs. Each site has a wide, neatly manicured grass strip, a level concrete pad for your rig and a separate concrete pad for the picnic table. Overall each site is wide enough that you don't feel jammed in place. Nice wide paved roads through the entire park. Unfortunately we were just overnighting so didn't get to take advantage of the long list of amenities. Without question given the opportunity, we'd stay here again. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a first class campground. Wide concrete roads, pull-through sites, with concrete pads and patios. A nice breakfast of waffles, cereal, biscuits 'n gravy, bagels, juice, coffee and more is provided. Free WiFi. Verizon 4 bars/ 4G reception. We did not have significant rain, so no problem with the wet grass or mud. Did notice that they have placed some paver blocks to help with the water problem. They have cats in the office and I'm allergic to them, so my wive does the office stuff. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice clean campground. Check-in was slow. Train track and highway close by with constant train whistles and traffic noise...which was OK, but just a consideration. The septic drains are awful in all sites I saw. The threaded pipe is below the concrete and therefore, if you screw in your septic elbow, you can't connect your hose since the elbow is too far below the concrete. Most people either didn't have their septic hooked up, or had a cement block holding the hose in the drain. Campground is not worth the $45 to camp...using Passport America and paying half was worth it though. I have stayed in a lot nicer campgrounds for lots less. OK for a one nighter and would stay again with Passport America. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Large, busy park with easy access off I-10. Good, paved interior roads and sites. Sites are long, level, pull-thru's, fairly close to your neighbor. Clean restrooms and laundry room; Large washers & dryers are only $1 per load. Large, clean swimming pool. Free breakfast. Playground was closed due to damage, no one appeared to be working on repairing it. The small, fenced dog area was in need of mowing, and someone had failed to pick up after their large dog (yuk!). Otherwise, this is a nice park, and we would stay here again. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a nice park for a one night stay. We expected sites to be close together, but were thankful for a pull through. It was nice to get off the rough road (I-10) and relax. The laundry facility was nice and spacious with 2 tables for folding. $1.25 per wash. There is a pool that looked inviting and sparkling clean. They provided a free breakfast which is quite unique. Similar to a breakfast at a nice motel. I loved the biscuits and gravy and hard boiled eggs. Waffles were also available. Campground is easy to get in and out of and very close to the interstate. Our motorhome is well insulated so the traffic noise didn't bother us at all. Lots of extras available but we only spent one night so we did not use the exercise room or book exchange. Showers were private and clean. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed four nights at this campground. Our site #80 was long enough for our 42' motorhome towing. We haad problems with the electric kicking off when we ran 2 AC units and asked to be moved to another site. We were begrudgingly told we could move to site #78 which worked fine. The park is mostly long terms so there is a lot of traffic when workers come home at night. We worried about the children playing in the roadways because the speed limit was not maintained. The park is clean, paved, has a fenced dog park, but not everyone picks up after their pets. The only real downside is the the long haired blonde in the office. No warm and fuzzy here! If you can overlook the bad attitude, this isn't a bad place to stay while passing through. We would stay again because it's so easy to get to I10. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is set up and designed with both travelers and long term campers in mind. The roads are all paved, nice and wide as are the sites. Easy access with any size rig and the sites are long enough to stay hooked up if you need to. We had no trouble navigating with our 40' fifth wheel and dually. This park is very clean and the staff friendly. They have a daily breakfast which is a very nice touch. We did not use cable or wifi but it was available. All services worked well with no problems. They have a small and simple dog park at the back of the park which was well cared for. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The only downside was the concrete RV pad itself, it was so narrow that it was difficult to stay off the grass. They had torrential rains the day before and to keep dry and out of the muddy grass was difficult. Make sure to park your RV so the door aligns with the concrete patio. Nice grass area and patio. Rain happens in Texas, but a wider RV pad would have been beneficial. Free breakfast. Nice playground. Overall a very nice park. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.
