Extremely narrow long concrete site. Hookups are at the rear, so you may need extensions. Grass hasn't been mowed in several weeks. Standing water and lots of fire ants in the grass. OK for overnight, but that is all. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A very nice well maintained park, with concrete pull through level sites, very clean restrooms & showers. They have a very good breakfast each morning for free. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice overnight with easy access to I-10, lots of nearby (within 5 mi) restaurants shopping etc. The sites are very close together, so not much room to spread out. They tend to be a tight fit so some tow/towed vehicles overhang a little, but driveways are still passable. All sites are very nice level concrete but just wide enough for the vehicle(s). With rain (which is nearly unavoidable in summer months), the grass areas get very soggy a little fill would alleviate this problem. There are a lot of longer term guests, but things are kept fairly orderly. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed overnite en route to casinos. Very clean park. Not to many trees. Sites are all pull thru concrete. Pool was a great relief after a day on the road. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Easy on and off interstate. Concrete sites that are very level. Big problems for motorhomes as the sewer, water and electric hook ups at end of pull thru. Lot of workers in park and some sites Could use a clean up as well as grass cut. Management non-existent. Very Clean showers and bathrooms. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice area but there is poor drainage for rain water. I had to hook up my utilities in about 2" of water and the grass area was muddy. I am sure during dry weather this is fine. Large sites and all concrete. Would stay here again. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nice clean park. Convenient to I10 but quiet. Free breakfast was nice touch. Good price with Passport America. Dog park was small but plenty of grassy areas to walk dog. Stayed 2 separate single nights and got a pull through both times. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We spent one night here on our way through Texas on I-10. It was well laid-out with good hookups. The staff was friendly. The sites are a bit narrower than we've seen elsewhere, but we had no problem pulling straight in and aligning our fifth wheel. We remained hooked up over night with a 36' trailer and a full-sized bed twin cab pickup, so the sites are plenty long. There are lots of good facilities on site (bathrooms with showers, for instance), and a free breakfast is on offer if you eat bread and cereal. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a back road (Fannett Rd, which is Texas 124) right next to the campground that will take you toward Beaumont and the Walden Rd-I 10 interchange with its Cracker Barrel, other restaurants, truck stop, and gas stations. You can use this back road and avoid getting onto and off of I-10 just to go one exit.

The park is easy on/off I-10....we expected to hear a lot of noise at night, but did not. Basically RV's all lined up in rows. However, it is very well maintained, pads were level, grass was mowed and trimmed around the pad. The included breakfast was really quite good and a surprise to us. The internet connection worked well. Great place to stop overnight. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice park for an overnight stay. There are concrete interior roads and pads. There had been quite a lot of rain prior to our stay and the areas in between the pads was quite soggy. I had to find dry land to connect the utilities. There are a number of workers staying in the park, so some of the sites are rather cluttered. But, overall it is clean, and when dry, I'm sure quite nice. I selected this RV park because of its proximity to I-10 and the passport discount. I was satisfied. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park was easy to get to, fairly close to stores and restaurants, but still quite and peaceful. It is very clean and well organized. The washrooms and showers were great. The staff were very friendly. The only problem we had was a bad cable connection, but there were a number of air channels available, so this was not a big deal. Very good value for the money. We would definitely come here again. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Nice park, currently with easy access to I-10 (there is talk of removing overpass with highway widening project later this year ('18) and not replacing it). Sites are level, concrete with grass between, pull thru, angled between lanes. Watch yourself as you enter and exit sites as many campers have not stayed on the paved areas and there are major drop-offs into the grass from previous rigs. All sites are in the open. There appears to be a dozen sites dedicated to overnighters or short term; the rest of the park has a lot of long term campers utilizing the sites. Except for highway noise, it's a quiet park. The highway is just far enough away that it didn't bother us too much at night. Free breakfast is offered daily - Texas shaped waffles, cereal, breads, biscuits and gravy were the offerings the days we were there. Bathrooms are good sized. Showers were clean (OK, I went in right after it was serviced so of course it was clean). Really liked that the shower head; it was mounted at a nice height for tall people. Store has a few groceries and RV items, mostly clothing and accessories. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Truck Camper.

Nice park with concrete pads separated by grass and they give you a free breakfast. Wi-Fi worked well. It had all of the amenities. Pads are a little narrow so you have to be just right to pull into a sight and have you tow follow correctly. I would give it a higher rating except for the fact that it is right off of the freeway and therefore very noisy. Good for 1 night stopover. Would stay again for a 1 nighter.
