This is not a resort. It is however a good park to spend the night while traveling thru. Spaces and interior roads are very tight. The back-in sites are a little more roomy than the pull thru's but appears all taken by permanent residents. In the pull thru's, with both having slides, you're about 24 inches off each other. Sites are mostly level and long enough. Electric was good and steady. We did not hook up sewer or water for our one night stay. Mostly workers and families living there. However, park was quite clean. There is a little pond (the lake) in the rear of the property with small kayaks and paddleboats. Office staff wasn't "friendly" nor was she rude. Simply to the point. Did offer suggestions for restaurants. Check in was easy and quick. We would probably stay there again for a night if passing though, but it is not a destination in itself. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice, well maintained park. Very clean and well kept grass areas around the park. Some sites have shade while others are mostly open. Appears that a lot of work has been done recently to clean things up. We had a paved pull-thru site with easy setup, leveling and access to utilities. Power, water pressure and sewer all worked well. Park has two sections - up front near the office and farther out by the lake. Both looked to have several well-maintained longer term residents/workers. Appreciate that they asked if I was a veteran and gave me a military discount. No pool but the lake has a couple of boats/canoes that can be used and the lake is a catch/release with no license needed. There is Wi-Fi available along with cable TV - signal is good for both. Bath/showers are individual rooms and are well maintained. There is some road construction that makes getting to the park a little difficult and there could be more signs for the park but our GPS got us there without any significant problems. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a pleasant surprise for me and Betsy (motorhome), we were greeted by a very knowledgable staff and crew and they made us feel at home. Area was clean and livable. There was some shade, and a picnic table was provided. I recommend this for anyone.

Thank you! We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The price is high and not a bargain. Practically speaking, there are two parks separated by a canal. The pads along the water looked like people were there for extend stays, so don't expect to just wander in and get a spot next to the water. Park is very clean and neat, and every pad has a small grassed area next to it. Laundry facilities are great; washers are $1.25 and dryers are $1.00. Everything was very clean. There is some freeway noise; far noisier are the railroad track that run along the side of the park opposite of the freeway. Aside from the pond, there is nothing here in the way of entertainment; it I would not call it a resort. I was here a week and was ready to leave after five days. While Wifi is free, beware! They tell you at check-in you are not allowed to stream video; the system cannot handle it. The $34 was based on a weekly rate. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This was a pleasant surprise. Called ahead because the weather had really made a turn for the worst. Host was very welcoming and helpful. We were given a pull-thru because we only wanted to stay one night. Good size sites, easy access, but sites are a bit close together. Showers were one of the cleanest we've seen. Nicely set up. Passport America made this very good stay, but when we asked to stay a second night due to a continued deluge, we were told that it was management's rule that PA could not be used for more than one day. We were allowed to use Good Sam Discount for the second day. Nice coffee and snack bar available in office starting at 9 am. Proximity to town also made this appealing, but the noise from nearby railroad tracks may bother some. All in all, a very nice place to stay, we would stay here again. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Easy access from I-10, but far enough off to avoid much of the associated noise. Clean laundry room with quick dryers. Nice folks running the place. Paved streets with level, gravel sites. A mix of pull through and back in sites. We'd stay here again. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park. Concrete pad, very level. Plenty of room for my travel trailer to stay hooked up to my truck, and park my other car behind. Check in was quick and efficient...very friendly personnel.

Roads are sufficiently wide enough for one rig to pass.

Close enough to I-10, but far enough away so that you don't hear the noise.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.

One thing to remember. When pulling in from the roadway and making your left turn to park in front of office for checkin, be mindful of the white post on your left and make sure you swing wide enough to miss it. I barely did. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a lovely small RV park just outside of Beaumont, yet only minutes to shopping, restaurants, etc. It is very easy to find, only one block south of I-10 but far enough off the freeway so we didn't hear any noise. The hosts were super nice and helpful and everything was very clean. Concrete streets and pads, good spacing, especially up front. No pool but there is a nice catch and release pond in the back and you can use their boats with permission! Passport America and Escapees get half off daily rates Mon.-Thurs. They also give Good Sam discounts. We would definitely stay here again if we needed to be back in Beaumont. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here three nights after bad gas ruined the fuel system in our new truck. The park managers bent over backwards to help us with advice and gave us a site in a full park after our truck was towed to the Ford dealer for repair and our RV was towed to Hidden Lake. A clean, safe, nothing fancy park! Really nice people!. Nice walks for dog on leash. Nice clean laundry. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean showers with a private room for each shower/toilet. Laundry facilities also very clean. Staff very friendly. We laid over just one night on our way west so wanted to be close to I10. Other than that not really much reason to stay here.

Site was really wet, but there had been a lot of rain...but still nowhere else we stayed had this much standing water. Looked to be a lot of permanent / seasonals staying. Park was well kept, clean & safe and staff very nice. Bathrooms were cleanest yet. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nightly Rate above is the monthly rate of $575 divided by 31 days. We are full timers and have traveled to 17 states and stayed in 30 different RV Park/Campgrounds in the past 24 months, so we have experienced all levels of facilities. Given the Good Sam rating for this park, we were very disappointed during our January stay in a pull-thru site. Certainly not a "resort" as there was no swimming pool, sauna, or play ground. Oh, there is a "lake" with one paddle boat, one canoe, and one kayak available for guests, but that's about the only additional amenity. Although the spaces are adequately spaced, the interior roads are "paved" but in horrible shape, full of potholes and uneven surfaces. Most campsites are uneven and collect large puddles of water after a rain. The pad at our campsite would be flooded with 2-4 inches of water after a moderately heavy rain and would not drain for 2-3 days. We had three of these flooded situations during our January stay. This park has some definite drainage issues. The management did not respond at all to my complaints about the standing water so I had to purchase a utility pump to pump the water off my site and into the roadway. Noise level at park is high as it is located next to a large truck repair center and about an eighth mile from the constant noise of I-10. Also, the proximity of this park to the area's oil refineries resulted in frequent unpleasant odors. We did find the wifi and internet speed to be adequate for email and routine web access. We chose this park based upon the Good Sam rating and the park's web site, however, we will not stay here again. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here several times, for a night or two, while traveling between points in Texas and Louisiana. The sites are level and paved, hookups are good, they have good Tengo WiFi, the staff are friendly, and the park offers easy access to and from I-10. Calling this park a "resort" is probably pushing it, and the trains that pass the park can be pretty loud, but it is still a good park for a few nights if you are passing through the area. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a darling little park, very well kept, excellent for an overnight stay while traveling or even a few days. The utilities worked perfectly and there was grass in between the sites even though the pull through sites were close (most expect that anymore with pull throughs). The back-ins had more space between them, but look to be taken by longer term folks but didn't seem to deter from the park much at all. They have another section in the back across a little lake, but we did not venture back there to be able to comment on that section. My review is on the front section located near the office. Very easy access off of I-10, level spots and flat campground, easy for big units. The price was Passport America. Not a resort, but a very nice clean place to stop overnight. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

A lot of long term campers here. Our space # 29 is a long pull through. I looked in the laundry and the prices are reasonable and the area clean. Good walking area around the park. There is also a lake to fish in or canoe on. The only negative was the train noise in the evening. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We went to the Spindletop Gladys City museum. Very interesting! This is a self guided tour but well signed. Several buildings to see the history of boomtown. Easy to find and the prices are very inexpensive. We are going to the Dutch windmill/ Tex Ritter museum tomorrow. A lot of museums downtown.

We enjoyed the smallness of the park but the sites were more than adequate for our 40 ft and tow Jeep. The staff were friendly and helpful with maps and info about shopping and restaurants. The sites are ashalt and a small patch of grass and our spot had a tree. We stayed here two nights but not much to do in Beaumont. The lake is nice and there are canoes if you want to use. But they were pretty dirty. The 3 restrooms include the shower and toilet. We didn't use them but they were very clean and well cared for. The laundry is nice which I did use. The picnic tables are metal and very nice. We'd definitely recommend. We camped at Hidden Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.
