We stayed here two nights. Site was clean, level, easy to get into but not much room for outside chairs. We were literally on the top of the hill where there is good grass cover on most sites. A lot of the sites on top have more room than our site. We were not able to connect to their wifi but we had excellent sat TV. There is some noise from the I-10 but it was not bad for us. We will return to this RV park. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Try the nearest restaurant, excellent food, service, reasonable price and a very interesting decor.

The number of people willing to help us get into our spot was impressive. In its own way, it's quaint, but I don't think I'd return. The spaces are too close to one another. No concrete lots, so with
a wind, it got a bit dusty. I had hoped for a "window with a view" and it's just all too squished in there to feel you're in a nice place. For some reason, I was told I was getting a "Premium" spot, and I could only laugh when we were shown the spot. I have NO clue why the spot was 'premium'. And too far out of town (Boerne) for my liking. WiFi was very poor. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice, quiet park on a hill, as the name implies. Gentle breezes and nice weather while we were there. The pull through sites are very roomy and the sites are well maintained. The other units in the park were also well maintained. Staff was courteous and attentive. We will stay here again. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Park office has a brochure that details activities in nearby Bourne. Plenty of shopping there, as well.
Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $22.00
Site was level and neat. Was led to the site and treated very cordially. Internet connection was strong but bandwidth prevented using it much. Nice view of the surrounding area from the park. Exercise equipment was functional but outdated. Nice pool but unheated and outside. Would definitely stay here again if passing through. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

High on a hill. The road up to the campsites is steep, but manageable. They escort you to your site. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $35.00
Camped with a 37ft. bumper pull trailer and a GMC 2500 pickup. Good thing our truck had 4 wheel drive, the entrance hill going up to the park is so steep, one does not dare let their rig start going backward. We had made a Memorial Day reservation for 3 nights, and presented out Good Sam's card and were told they had already discounted the site price down to $35.00 The so call pull thru site they gave us a site where camp roads forked, and there was just barley enough room for the trailer & pickup. Site was no where near level. This park is too expensive for what you get, and is just plain dangerous. Will never stay there again, and will tell all my family and friends of our nightmare at this park. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo
Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $18.00
Good overnight stop. Some long sites, so you don't need to disconnect. Verizon good, pet friendly. Some road noise, but it was hot so couldn't hear it because of A/C. 5 miles north of Boerne. Unique restaurant about 1/4 of mile away, called PO PO. Country style food. Would of graded higher but Wi-Fi was terrible. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This park would be a 10 except for the noise from I-10 (especially the big rigs with their jake brakes). That, and the absence of the advertised free WiFi. They were working on the antennas every day for the three days we were here. We opted for the most expensive sites on the top of the hill, where the views of the Texas Hill Country were spectacular, as were the gale force winds (maybe just spring winds?). There was a fire a while back, so the clubhouse and laundry buildings were rebuilt and looked nice and new. The workampers were all very friendly and helpful. As far as there being no refunds for early departure, that's been the rule at just about every park we've stayed at. We look forward to returning for a week or so when it isn't quite so windy. This is a very nice campground with all paved roads and good solid gravel sites that were level. The sites have a curb around most sites but they were smart enough to make the curb about one inch high so if you need to drive over the curb it's no big deal. The price indicated is for Passport America and it's only good for two days. If you want to stay any additional time you will be charged the regular rate less the Good Sam 10% discount. The only negative we saw was the sign that stated "no refunds" which IMO is very poor business practice. Our Verizon cell service was 4 bars and 4G. Satellite TV reception was clear from our site #58. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a very nice rv park. Nice people run it. Sites are gravel and level and spacious. They take PPA. Plenty of room to walk the dogs. We had no highway noise at our site. The only negative. San Antonio is over 30 miles away to the east. The town has all the amenities including a Super Walmart. There are dude ranches in nearby Bandera where we'll go horseback riding. We had such a wonderful time here that we came back a few weeks later! Huge pull through sites for big rigs. Sites spaced far enough apart so you're not right on top of each other. Beautiful views. Clean laundry with lots of machines. Nice pool and activities center. Nice area to walk your dog, but it's not fenced in. Lovely, helpful staff and office doubles as a general store in case you forgot something and don't want to go into town. A stone's throw from an excellent family restaurant, Po Po's, and bakery/cafe/gift shop, Smittyville General Store. Quick drive to San Antonio and Fredericksburg. 20 minute drive to HEB Plus grocery store. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We arrived after hours but a manager happened by the office, as we were trying to figure out the late check in instructions. She was very friendly and promptly picked out a site for us...apparently there was a rally going on at the time that we were there. Site was a short, pull through, which was a piece a cake for our 24 ft, class B. Water and electric hookups were fine and well maintained. Site 50, that we were on, was quite level. Decently wide spots, gravel, in the area we were in, with a nice view. The park is on the top of a hill. TV reception, with just our antenna was good....getting quite a few stations. No wifi but cell signal with Verizon and cellular data worked well. You can definitely hear road noise. We were told that the $35 was already discounted as they were running a special. We just stopped for an overnight stay. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

We were promised wi-fi but it never worked, and they have no cable. Antenna reception is poor. Work campers were very friendly, but the owner didn't communicate with his staff so knew nothing. Maintenance workers were rude and unfriendly. I would never stay here again. They have a no refund policy which is not on the receipt nor on the info pamphlet. The policy is written on a piece of paper and taped to the desk which was covered by the maps. Beware!! We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $22.00
The park occupies a hilltop near the highway so traffic noise is very evident. Some interior roads are fairly steep but the sites are nicely leveled. Roads and sites are gravel; many of the sites are pull-through. Basic utilities worked well but the Wi-Fi was out of service throughout our stay. The buildings and common areas were very attractive and included a kitchen, game room, exercise room, clubhouse, restrooms, pool and patio. AT&T phone and data worked very well in the area. The price reflects a Passport America discount. We would stay here again. We camped at Top of the Hill RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a very nice RV park. The sites are gravel with plenty of slide out room. They do not have cable nor did I try their Wi-Fi if it existed. It is rather difficult to find but following the directions will get you there. It rained just about the whole time we were there. There is a short steep hill to climb after check-in. We had no problem with it but another RV checking in the following day could not climb the hill. It could have been the gravel on the road and rain, or maybe the RV was under powered. I didn't stay around to see if they left or was able to take the exit ramp in. There are cabins here that are very reasonable and clean and would be great if you were traveling with guests. Check in was easy and they guided us to our spot and made sure hook-up were satisfactory. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Before we left we made reservations for the following year. There is also an excellent restaurant about a mile away. A little pricey but very good food. We were attending a car show towing a 20' trailer.
