2 Parks near Bonham, Texas
Feb 2016 - $20.00
A very quiet State Park with a small lake completely within the Park. The RV campsites are very close together and without any trees or bushes between the campsites. This would be a nice spot for folks who want a quiet place for a few days or a "stopover" while traveling. I might add that this park is a Buzzard rookery for perhaps 300-400 buzzards.
In the summer months, there seems to be paddle boats and canoes for rent. There is also a very nice fishing dock. The Park has one (1) hiking trail that loops the lake and a swim area. - Jim Butler
Sep 2006 - $3.00
Small family owned park. $100+elec for month. Wide gravel sites and access road. Near VA Hospital and 70 mi to Dallas. No bath house, no pool, no play ground. Fair price in coin laundry. Stayed for some health stuff at VA. Very good CG for FT RVers. BIG fire works stand open in June. - Fred Griffin
