"Campers" in several different sites had their vehicles in various states of repair. Parts off, one was missing his front wheels while he was performing a brake replacement. Picnic table for your site is right next to neighbor's sewer line. Had 2 showers for over 100 camping sites. Surface roads are large gravel that makes it difficult to walk on. Easy access to I-10. No cable setup. Wi-Fi didn't work on my site, which was close to office. Doubt I will return. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Close to I-10 so noise is constant but not terrible with fans running. Sites are close but slides were OK and pull through had room to park towed behind, gravel spots but level. Fairly easy in and out with a 45' unit. Park was clean and when we plugged in we had very low voltage but park got someone on it within minutes and after a few loose connections in the box were repaired we were good. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hot tub could have been hotter. Clean pool and restrooms. This Tango WIFI is not good and a deal breaker. It is an OK overnight stop. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Basically it seems everyone lives there and no regards to the rules posted. We stayed there 2 weeks and only saw 6 spaces with activity. The space across from us, the owner had a fifth wheel, his company truck, his truck, a trailer, and a boat! People are walking through your site as a shortcut, dogs tied up outside barking or not tied up at all. Rv's have gas cans, ladders you name it all cluttered around their site along with build in porches and lawn furniture. Looks like a place they would film cops.

Staff was polite on arrival. Rained really hard before arrival so I used wood to get our entry out of the mud.

Our picnic table faced our neighbors sewer with no bush or fencing. No screw in donuts, so a real pleasure.

No cable Tv, but had my own. WIFI is Tengo, strong but always having to log in over and over.

The roads are all gravel and activity all night long. Cars cut through vacant spaces so quite noisy like a large apartment complex. Will not stay here again. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Motorhome.

When we decided to get through Houston on a Sunday, we call this RV park even though the other reviews said it was noisy. It's very easy on and off I-10 and very well kept. There is road noise but we've been in parks with a lot worse. Since it was hot we kept the AC running and really weren't bothered by the noise. The roads are wide enough to make entry and exit easy. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is right next to the interstate and there was an unpleasant amount of road noise. Wifi is via Tengo which was hard to set up, but worked okay, not great, once you got it going. There were many long-term residents, but I didn't see that as a problem. The management didn't give me a particularly good feeling, nothing overt, but they made me feel like I was inconveniencing them when I asked questions about toll roads, making reservations, and long term storage.

Overall, it was okay for an overnight stop, but I'd look elsewhere if I intended to stay longer. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate of $33 included tax. Amount we paid in tax was not shown on receipt.

Interior roads are not paved; sites are gravel. Sites are long; we did not have a problem parking our truck & our 40' RV on the site. A lot of permanent residents here. Very clean park & clutter free (rules are very strict regarding clutter). If you have dogs, be aware that the park does not allow outdoor fence around your RV for dogs. WiFi is pretty decent. It is free for the first 48 hours (one device only). After 48 hours, there is daily, weekly, monthly rate charge. We feel the park's nightly rate is pretty high for the services offered. Of course, this is the Houston area and it is located off of I-10. The convenience is worth it. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for two nights while visiting a friend in nearby Katy, TX. The sites are pretty small and close together...too close for our liking. The park is very close to I-10, but because it is up on a hill, most of the highway noise is muffled, unless you're in the first couple rows closest to the highway. Although the sites were small and the park was completely full, everything was fairly clean and tidy.

We didn't use any of the amenities, so can't comment on those. There are some grassy areas and a pond which we walked around with our dogs a few times (dogs are not permitted in the pond).

We'd consider staying here again, but would first look for someplace else nearby with larger sites. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you are heading west this is a great location and very quiet even though it is located right off of I-10! Nice spaces. A former KOA. Easy off/0n. Gas/diesel station close by. Staff was super nice. We would stay here again. We just stayed 1 night. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent park, excellent host. Only reason I'm not going with a 10 is the site required me to use a board under onside of the rig to get level. Even though this campground is next to I-10, you would hardly know it. Not sure why as there are no trees next to the interstate but it is elevated above the road. I had a problem with the Wi-Fi but I think it was me. The host did everything she could to get me online but all failed. I would highly recommend this campground. Easy in and out. Many long term residents. Could walk all the way around a nice pond. Nice lounge and library for book trades. Clean individual showers but could use an update. Adequate laundry, catch and release fishing, pool, and good utilities. Would have been a 10 except for the gravel which was very noisy with many very early departures. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is easy to access from I-10. It is fairly close to the Camping World and Holiday World stores in Katy. The sites are compacted dirt/gravel and are relatively level. The sites are a bit tight and there are no picnic tables. We actually set our outdoor chairs in front of the motorhome, as there was virtually no room to sit out on the side of the RV. The electrical box at our site looked a little rough, but all checked out and it functioned fine. There are quite a few permanent residents here, but everyone was friendly and the park was very quiet. The staff at the office was very friendly. This is an okay stop if overnighting or spending a couple of days in the Houston area. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was an overnight for us, the park is close to the freeway. The sites are long enough to stay hooked up, but a little close together. The staff is friendly. Fuel and shopping are close in the town. A Lot of the spaces are full with people staying for longer term. The park is clean and the services all work fine. We would stay again. These are basic pull-through sites. No frills. Rock & grass. No problem with internet. Bath/showers are clean, but they could spend $20 and replace the rusty curtain, rod, & rings. Trash pick up at site & trimmed grass. We would stay here again. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A great overnight stop. Easy access to I-10. An older park, gravel sites, but reasonably maintained. Staff friendly. Nothing fancy, lots of extended stay folks, but very adequate. Pull-through was easy to navigate. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
