From what we observed, the park looked clean and well-manicured; but I would never stay there again for these reasons: 1) They advertise a recreation room, but there isn't one. They put it on the campground "map" and give a code, but it is to a VERY small garage-looking building, and the door doesn't open. You couldn't fit a table and chairs in that thing. 2) They advertise a pool, which they have, but it's TINY. It's not much larger than a hot tub. There are no fold out chairs, because you couldn't even fit them on the tiny slab of concrete between the surrounding chain-link fence and water. 3) The spaces are VERY close together. I have never stayed at a campground with sites so close together (and I've been to a lot). 4) There was lots of road noise, since it's so close to the highway. 5) We asked for a different site, one that had a vacancy next to it because the spots were so close together. We were told the spots that were not taken "might" have someone come in and they had to keep those spots open. None of those spots ever got filled while we were there. They could have easily let us move. 6) They didn't provide picnic tables. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

WiFi dropped constantly. No cable/satellite at all. Very disappointing. Didn't open awning as it would have hit the next RV. Road noise from highway was loud. No picnic tables. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Our stay was excellent overall. Very helpful manager. Clean and well groomed grounds. Bathrooms clean and stocked. Exit using back gate code box needs to stick out 1 more foot to avoid gate. We'll stay here again with our travel trailer. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This place caters to partying college kids who's rich parents pay for them to stay here and basically get away with any and everything. This has got to be the worst RV park we have ever stayed at and we were treated like we were the problem! First: our electricity kept going off when we first moved in, so the next day I went to office and was told by owner that my plug was probably dirty. They had to replace the socket cause it was burnt up. Second: lawn mower crew ran over our dish cord , cracked our new sewer hose with weed eater, and ran into our slide out with mower. Hit our trailer so hard it shook and scared my husband who was inside. All the lawn mowing incidents happened on different occasions! Third: Our college kid neighbors held parties, riding their loud little motorcycle through the field behind us and around the park, and worked on his diesel truck at 2 or 3 in the morning. When they hold parties, his friends park EVERYWHERE, making it hard for anyone to get through! Fourth: the coded key pad to the gate not only shocks your fingers, it closes quick scratching your new truck! We also watched other vehicles get scratched! So we complained. Owners actually words were "That's why you have insurance"! Really?? Told us we could leave since we weren't happy! We keep to ourselves and mind our own business, and don't cause problems, and we were asked to leave! Oh and let me just add a few more things. The restrooms smell like sewer and ALL the showers and shower curtains have molded! For this place to be pet friendly, they are not welcome in ANY of the buildings on site, and no poop station and no bags. I use my own bags, so no big deal, but a lot of people do not pick up after their pets! Can not believe how we were treated here! If this is the AGGIE WAY to be treated, then shame on YOU! We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean and well maintained. Long concrete pullthrus. Good utilities. They offer cable tv that is a little different. They give you a cable box and remote to hook up. Not difficult at all, just different. There is some highway noise since it's on the highway. Easy on and off. We would stay here again. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had problems with cable TV reception, but the most annoying aspect of our one night stay was the problem we had with connecting to the strangest looking water faucet I've ever seen. It seemed to have its own pressure regulator which malfunctioned for us when I connected my hose, with or without my own pressure regulator attached. The flow of water would be normal one minute and then slow to a trickle and stop altogether. The faucet connection would leak one moment and not the next. The problems we had with the delivery of two out of four services to an RV is the reason for our low rating of this facility. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

So very clean. Concrete pad, concrete patio, paved roads, grass strip between sites. Fairly close spacing to neighbor and neighbors sewer hose. Clean and spacious private toilet/sink/shower rooms. Good wifi, electric, water. Cable tv requires a cable box supplied by the park. We're used to connecting the box ahead of our coach cable system with two long cables through a slightly opened window to the cable box without messing with the cables connected to the tv. No picnic table. No fenced dog park. Many A&M fans leave their coaches here so call ahead for reservations. Very helpful Manager with important information. Some road noise but not bad. Rate was with Good Sam discount. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The rate posted is for a week stay. The site I was in was a pull through with full utilities. A free cable box is issued at check-in, which I did not hook up. Free secure WIFI is available with good reception. The laundry has a coded entry with two working washers and three dryers. Verizon work well. The owner or assistant is in the office from 9 am to 5 pm Mon - Fri. They are friendly and accommodating although you are not assisted to your site. The park is well kept and seems to be very clean. Long sites not too level and very narrow, my awning on a 31' fifth wheel almost touched the next rig's slide out. There is a small concrete pad that should be where the man door is. Because of the water hook up I am too far back so I step out on grass. Water pressure seems high. The small swimming pool seems to be really clean. No picnic tables and no trees. This park is at the corner of two fairly major highways with the accompanying noise. The park entry or exit is on Colson Drive and there is a coded exit onto US Highway 190/TX State Highway 6. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Early afternoon arrival so easy trip through town to great location on 6 and 21. Colson St. could have been wider, but, that is not park's fault. Narrow road, so be prepared. Park roads great and pads level. Ours was set to favor a motorhome I think but we fit well. Power and TV cable are at the very back, so, have long cord if yours is midship. Noise from Highway 6 is minimal and TV was recently scrambled causing issuance of a descrambler provided. It connects as if you were using satellite receiver instead of cable direct to TV.

Check for football games in town. Always check that coming to the area. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Sodolacks just out the exit has great food. More to shop and eat south on 6 and a new/old one just north on Tabor Rd. we did not get to. Fuel and service can be found easily. Reminder: have long power cord unless your connection is in the rear.

This is a nice private park. It is well maintained. Roads and parking are concrete. Parking is completely level. I prefer to have more space. There is enough for parking and extending slides and canopies. But, that is all. Park is close to highway, but noise from a central site was not excessive. Very nice park. Impressive landscaping, friendly owner and clean grounds. Expected the same of the bathroom but they were quite dirty. I informed management and they got right on it but it was sad that a guest had to inform them of this fact. That being said we would definitely stay here again. Nice facility, great location. Laundry mat closed. Bath facilities closed. Security issues within park at night due to better fencing and new cameras to help deter vandals and crime and, with police drive thru patrols. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A good 1-2 day park to see the area and visit the Bush Library. Park has 2 sections. One is set up for permanent or long term but units are well maintained. Other area also has lots of long term residents. Sites are level concrete both pull thru and back in. Other reviewers are right that sites are very narrow but are easy to get into. Have extra concrete pad which works for front or mid entry units. For a rear entry like mine you end up stepping out on the grass. WiFi worked well and facilities were clean and well maintained. Rate was with Good Sam discount. I would stay here again for a short stay if in the area. Easy access but some road noise with unit open from nearby highway. But sure to check availability well in advance as they fill up for university football games and other events. We camped at Aggieland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice clean park. We had a pull-through, which works out great for an overnight stay. There are some permanent residents, but this is Aggieland, and to be expected. $63.00 is little pricey, but it comes down to supply and demand. We would stay here again.
