When we first arrived, we thought this must be a fairly new park because everything looked so clean and well-maintained, but we learned that it was actually that has been there for a good number of years. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Right after we had parked in our well-kept and mowed pull-thru site, a camp worker came and placed boards under our jack. That was a first for us. The sites are grass except for the two strips of concrete where your tires are supposed to rest. They take their grass very seriously at this campground. It's bright green, thick, and kept mowed. DO NOT PLACE ANY MATS OR CARPETS ON THE GRASS. This will create brown spots, and they really take protecting their green grass here very seriously. Only minor irritation was the hedge along our site, making it impossible to get into the slide-out tray to put away our hoses. Had to stow them as we were pulled forward getting ready to leave. Also had a woman in a rental trailer who had a dog that barked every time anybody walked by -- and then kept barking for 15-20 minutes more. Very inconsiderate. WI-FI was OK but slowed down during peak hours of usage. There no cable TV, but OTA reception was very good so no problem there. One nice thing about this park was the absence of perms and long-termers. No dirty, rusty, nasty-looking trailers to ruin this beautiful park. Bullard is very rural with few store and shopping, but Tyler is a quick 20-minute drive north on 69, and it has all the stores and restaurants you could possibly want. Right up the highway is a nice new fuel stop where you can fill up with diesel AND get your big rig in and out easily. All in all, this is one of the prettiest RV parks we've ever stayed in. And East Texas is a very pretty area. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

This is the third time to stay here. We stayed six nights and found that nothing could have been better. The site is very close to town making trips for groceries and fuel handy. Sites are concrete with good, full 50A hook ups: You will need a 50 to 30 adapter if you use 30A. Highway traffic noise is almost unnoticeable. Courteous and helpful staff. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

Nice clean park. Far enough away from Tyler to avoid the madness but close enough for visiting. Some road noise from 69 during day but no problem at night. Wifi worked great. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at Bushman's a couple of times when we're visiting the Tyler, TX area. I have found it to be one of the cleanest and best-maintained RV parks I've ever stayed at.

It is far enough outside Tyler that you feel like you're in the country (there were cows grazing just outside the RV park fence), yet it's only about a 20 minute drive into Tyler.

There is a nice indoor pool which my kids enjoyed.

Probably my only complaint is that they only allow one vehicle with each RV, so if you're towing a 5th wheel or have a tow vehicle, that will be all your allowed to have. Any visitors will have to park out front and walk through the park to get to your site. For a small fee (I believe $5/day) you can park an additional vehicle. To be fair, I guess part of the reason the park looks so clean is that there aren't a lot of extra vehicles around to clutter things up.

I stayed in a 45' motorhome and found that the site had plenty of space and all the hookups (including 50 amp power) were excellent.

Overall, I thought the service was friendly and the park is very nice, so I recommend it. I will stay there any time I'm in that area. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

Stayed here 3 nights in mid week. Very satisfied with facilities. Long pull thru with concrete strips, required slight leveling but no problem. Electricity, water, sewer worked great. Wifi was good but at times would slow to a crawl but most of the time was OK. The park wasn't crowded when we were there but they seem to have frequent groups that may fill the campground. Make reservations to be sure. The front entrance is gated and the park is very secure. Slight road noise from Highway 69 but didn't cause any problems. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is off the beaten path and has narrow pads. It has many full time residence. Dogs were left tied up outside various sites and left unattended in the dog park all day in near 100 degree temps. One dog was an office workers dog. This is against park policy. Office workers were not friendly. After returning home I received a solicitation from a realty company. The only way they could have gotten my address was through park workers. The park is very well maintained and the maintenance man was hard working, friendly, and helpful. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Travel Trailer.

We found this park to be clean and well maintained. The site we were assigned was unlevel and had a tree that scraped our roof and it made it impossible to open our slideouts. We requested another pull through site, but were told none were available although we were the only rv on that row. They said they were reserved. We had made reservations a week in advance. We moved to a back in site. We discovered after three hours that the power had not be turned on to the site and that we had been running on battery power. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

This was our second visit to this park in 2 years. Bushman's is still a great short-term stay park. Hookups were well placed and worked fine. You're 10 miles from Tyler but there is a Brookshire grocery about 2 miles away. There's a fishing pond, volleyball, and dog park on the property. Most of the sites look level and those that weren't would still be close enough with a board or two. Spacing between sites is adequate and site length is good for even the longest rigs. Young trees provide very little shade but that's good for satellite. No individual fire pits but they provide two community fire pits. Free park wifi worked well and both ATT & Verizon had strong signals. Road noise from nearby highway settles down at night. Friendly staff. Very nice individual restroom/shower combo in main building. We'll stay here when in the area. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a very nice three day stay here. The site was fairly level, just took a little lift on the front. Very long pull throughs and lots of grass. A handful of permanents and everyone was friendly. We liked the access to a 12 mile loop on small county roads for our daily cycling. It was also very nice to have the pavement. The wind was howling all three days and no dust. Nice.

We will be back. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice safe, well maintained park. Unusual check in entrance, but a great example of good planning, and customer service. Check in, shown to site, and assistance in locating their jack supports (no pads, concrete tire strips/grass). Very unusual, but a very nice effect eliminating excessive concrete. Concrete streets very accessible with easy turning radius.

On second and third days we experienced electrical problems on a very hot dry 100+ day. The young lady in charge said she checked their pedestal breakers, and main breakers. After I spent some extensive time researching electric circuits on our coach I determined the problem was the parks. I checked the main park panels myself and found them tripped ????. Other than that a very nice well maintained park. We will stay here again. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

Stop was only for a overnight. Clean, grass cut, unusual concrete tire width pad, concrete streets, no trees in pull thru sites. Many trailers and 5th wheels- full time residents. Security gate. Event room is not a rally room. Microwave, pool tables, no refrigerator, really not a spot for a rally meeting/dining space. Site tables are really bar stool heights. Located about 5 miles south of Bullard, which is a typical very small town. Grocery about 3 miles. Pretty property. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

The nicest RV park we have seen in East Texas!! Excellent utilities, good free WiFi - higher level service available for fee, superb bathrooms/shower rooms, great rally facilities, gated security, nice grass, concrete roads and 2-track sites, 2 cookout areas, tables at some sites, nice dog runs, concrete walkway to lake & to celebration center, campground employee met us at site with 2x10 boards to put across the concrete tracks for our leveling jacks. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

How this park got a 10-10-10 from Good Sam's is beyond me. Spots had pavement strips for wheels; had to put a board down for jacks to settle on. Never could get my RV level. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. There was ample room between spaces. No cable TV, no trees, and no views. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

Overall, a great RV park! Like others said, it's a little hard to find the entrance the first time. Don't turn on FM2493 slightly south or you'll drive 3 miles to a narrow turn-around. My rig is 59' nose-tail and I managed the interior CG turns, but I wouldn't do it in anything longer. Pull through sites were about 75' long, and maybe 30' wide. Heated pool and hot tub a plus. No cable TV. All concrete roads and concrete parking strips. Lots of long termers with families here but they were a friendly bunch. 10% off rate shown for Good Sam. A good place to visit Tyler. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Fifth Wheel.
