This is a small park on the east end of town at the city limits right beside the highway, so it's a little noisy if you open the windows otherwise the a/c drowns out most of it. Only 10 sites but all are level concrete with gravel driveway. Pull in at the drive the driveway on Thurman street or you may drag bottom on the drive closest to the small house. This is a great spot for overnight, it's clean, well kept, well lighted. There are only 10 spots with full hookups but the night we stayed only 2 others were there. The lady who owns the place is very friendly and even checked on us the next morning after a small thunderstorm came through during the night. Being only 70 miles from Amarillo most folks pass this by but it's a great place to stop on your way to Colorado or on the return from like places. Especially if you don't want the hustle and bustle of the city. I've stayed in Amarillo campgrounds several times and they aren't any quieter. True, this place has few amenities such as pool, laundry, etc. but you're not paying a lot either. I highly recommend it for an overnight stay for rest and then you can pull out and face Amarillo rested on the way through. I'll most definitely stop here again. We camped at Yankie's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $25.00

This is a small (10 sites) unassuming roadside park. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Good “stopping spot” location between Amarillo & Wichita Falls. Located east side of Clarendon at city limits, next to US Route 287 on south side (expect normal highway noise). Best to access from west most driveway, and pull into large gravel area around back. Two sites on western side can work as pull-throughs. Gravel roads, a few trees, level sites with concrete pads for RV, grass between sites, mostly open for satellite, all sites 50 amp, sewer, water. Good electricity, good Verizon. Because on main highway other cell services also probably work. We found this park to be convenient for our overnight needs and will stop here again. We camped at Yankie's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice small roadside park, nothing fancy, but quite adequate for an overnight. Very friendly folks. They weren't full, so we were able to pull through and stay hooked up to our fifth wheel. Level but narrow paved pad, some shade trees. It's right on US 287 just east of Clarendon. One shower, one restroom (which we didn't use) behind curio/fireworks stand. We'd stay here again. We camped at Yankie's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
