A beautiful COE park with full hookups, level, large, paved sites with a concrete, covered table. Nicely separated sites overlooking the lake. Lake is a little down, but still a great view from the campsites. Friendly and helpful rangers and staff. Very restful and quiet camp. We will stay again if in the area. We camped at Sowell Creek COE in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $18.00
This is a Corp of Engineer Park. With the exception of Loop 1, sites are a combination of paved and gravel. If you want space, stay in Loop 1 or get a site that borders the lake. Everything else is fairly close together. The seven sites in Loop 1 are full hookup with 50A service. All are paved, long, and level. That'll cost $26/night. There is no playground and no laundry, but the bath houses are well maintained. The park has a nice boat ramp and fishing pier. Voltage and water pressure were good. We camped in a motor home.
