Nice park. The sites are close together, but not overly crowded. We stayed here on our way to Big Bend. Excellent stopping point. We stayed an extra night to go on the canyon tour, which was great. The time we were there was VERY windy, which made it feel a lot colder than the temperature actually was. - User3720

Our first stay at a State Park (ever) and were pleased with our experience. Our site was W&E back-in. Rest rooms were clean but we did not use. Good spacing between sites, paved roads, gravel sites. Sites had picnic shelters as well as cleared area for tents. It got very hot during the day (late April) but cooled in the evenings. No frills but a nice stop for us. Price does not reflect State Park admission (for us $3 pp) - yesmar
