The park is right across from the railroad. The sights were all grave,l no picnic table or fire ring. They did have cable hookup and a nice play area. We only stayed one night and had to leave early the next morning. I guess someone didnt like that because we had coffee thrown on our truck. We stayed in a travel trailer. We had to check in on a Sunday so the office was closed. They had envelopes to fill out and put cash our check and a drop box. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice wide, level spaces on gravel. Good 50amp. Good TangoNet WiFi. Stayed one night while traveling from Kansas. Very pleasant young man, grandson of founders. Trying hard to have a good place to stop.

Will stay again. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

All gravel roads and level sites. Easy in and out. Pictures do not do this park justice. Park has been in this family since 1955. You can tell the grandson and his wife really care about the family tradition. There are trains around everywhere in Dalhart, but we use a fan in the bedroom and did not hear a thing. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Not much in this part of the country, we were passing through but were very impressed with the park. Very large spaces, thin layer of small gravel but clean, good hookups, 50 amp, dump, good water, cable reminded me of Russian TV (snow) but lots of channels (48), snow problem may have been that site (44). They even provide the cable attached to their post. (30 ft). Met the neighbors, mostly transient "harvesters" there for the length of their jobs. Nice people with nice dogs. Lots of room to walk. Highly recommend this place if you're on the road and passing through on highways 54 or 87. Lots of room for big rigs. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

No Wal Mart but the United Food Stores has a nice selection.

This is a railroad town so expect horns and such. There are some of the biggest feed lots I've ever seen on 54 west, make El Paso's look small. Also 1000's of acre fields on both sides of smooth highways. Great way to go.

The lady who checked us in was very polite and friendly. (They are in the process of remodeling the office.) The park grounds are clean, and the restrooms and laundry were spotless. Spaces are wide enough for comfort and there are some trees throughout the park. Road noise was pronounced, and unfortunately, the odor from the livestock feedlots could be nauseating, depending upon wind direction. This is a well-managed park run by nice folks and we would stay here again. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Dalhart's XIT Museum is an excellent way to learn about the famous ranch and the early days of Dalhart. Walk down Denrock Street as well -it's very nice.

When we arrived at 2:30 there was a note that the owners were gone and to pick a site. We were in #44, a long pull through, as most of the sites are. Don't stop here if you want amenities and a good nights sleep. The trains were constant. This park is convenient on Hwy 54, and has flat gravel sites. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is a "diamond in the rough". We passed it on our way east but stopped on our way back west. Nice clean, level sites. If we come along US 54 again, we will definitely include this park on our way east. We stayed one night. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice overnight stop. Wide, level, gravel sites with excellent hookups. Some slight train noise but did not really bother us. Friendly, helpful managers. Would stay again. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice staff. Next to busy train tracks. Only an issue if the conductor feels the need to blow the whistle and you don't have white noise. Gravel sites, very level. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were a little skeptical about stopping here for the night so were pleasantly surprised by the newly paved interior roads and fine gravel sites. The park was almost full so reservations are seriously recommended. There are some full-time residents but you would be hard pressed to tell them apart from those just passing through. We would definitely stay here again on a stop over. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rate reflects a daily rate with the Good Sam discount. This park is right along highway 54 so it wasn’t hard to find and the road noise wasn’t bad. There is train noise. The staff was friendly but not really outgoing with information about the park or about the town unless asked. Our site was gravel and fairly level. We were in a row with side by side hookups, If you had a neighbor, they would be very, very close. There were a few trees but satellite was not a problem. Utilities were good. Sprint and Verizon worked well. There are three huge rocks at the entrance; look carefully as to which of the “lanes” you want to use when you pull into the driveway. It would be easy to accidentally go over the curb and/or sideswipe a rock. There is a sign that says “do not block driveway”. Perhaps a sign that says where you should park your rig while you register would work better. There is a good hiking trail at Lake Rita Blanca. We would stay here again for a short visit. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a family owned park with very few amenities, however it is well maintained. The grounds are clean and the utilities are cared for and functioned well. There is only one shower each for men and women in the single bathrooms and a laundry facility. We stayed a single night on our way home and would stay again if passing through. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park has paved interior roads and level gravel sites with some shade. There were some long-term campers but their sites, as well as the entire park, are neat and well-maintained. Overnighters were mainly directed to the side-by-side pull-through sites but the friendly owner directed us to a less trafficked spot since we were staying for several days. Utilities were good; Wi-Fi was excellent and free for one computer, access for a second computer was only an extra dollar per day; AT&T phone and data service were available in the area. Train noise was frequently heard but not terrible. The price reflects a Good Sam discount. We would stay here again. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
