We are familiar with Destiny and stay with them when in the Dallas/Denton/Cornith area. The friendly customer service started even before we arrived as I left a date off of our stay and had to make back-to-back reservations. They called me a day later to amend and combine them into one. Check-in was smooth and our pull-thru site required just a little leveling for our 30' Class A coach. We do not tow. A previous camper had spilled some sticky liquid on the picnic table which had attracted a lot of ants. The camp service staff was on the scene minutes after this was reported and took appropriate action. Problem solved. The restrooms were a stone's throw away from any site. The park was clean and well maintained. There is a large area for your dog to run and play. The pool was clean and the spa relaxing. They have propane for portable and on-board re-filling. There are plenty of "doggie" waste cans if you are walking the park. If you need to clean your rig, there is an RV (and regular) wash rack on site. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure and check with the camp staff by phone the day of arrival for road and ramp closures and detours. I-35E is continually under construction and your GPS will be very confused with the ramps that have moved or don't exist anymore!

We stayed here overnight while making headway across country. Although we were not here long enough to use them, there are a few good amenities like an onsite carwash/RVwash, and a pool and hot tub. Those perks do NOT outweigh the fact that there are entirely too many sites for the size of this park. Some of the sites are barely large enough to accommodate the RVs in them. Our site was so tight that our slide out encroached on the site next to us. We were very concerned we were going to hit trees both pulling in and out. There are a LOT of full time residents which is surprising for the space allowed. This park is right off of I-35 on an access road which makes exiting the park kind of scary. Traffic is very fast moving on the access road. We will definitely not stay there again. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park. We stayed in a "Gold Site" which was more expensive, but worth it. We had a side yard on a corner lot. We stayed a week and were very happy with our site. The park is clean and the staff friendly. The WiFi was good! The only amenity I wish they had was cable tv, which would have been nice for the price. It is conveniently located and easy access. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a great park located in a urban area. I seen some comments about hearing traffic noise from the highway and airport but we really didn't notice it at all and we were at the front end of the park and wasn't an issue for us. The pool was very clean and refreshing, I could see it being a little warm in the hot summer but it is a pool with plenty of sun for sunbathing and the hot tub does flow into the pool. The park is probably 85% long term but that does also say a lot for the campground. We met some of the residents and they all seemed to love the park and staff. All the sites were very well maintained and clean. They have a nice children's play area, onsite RV wash, Recreation room, Well stocked store, Propane onsite, Open grassy area for sports and recreation.

The WiFi signal was strong and easy to connect to but was a little on the slow side, but it is free and worked well for email and browsing the internet.

Cellular service with AT&T was low but still worked well for calls and text.

Check-in was fast and easy and our site was easy to get to and get parked, the site required very little to level our rig. Nice picnic table but didn't have a charcoal grill (went and bought a cheap little one at Walmart as we needed a portable one for the RV anyway).

Only real con to this park is we are used to camping near the lake or forest and was a little different for us, but we were in Denton for a UNT football game and sure beat staying at hotel by far. They have an off-leash area for dogs but there isn't a barrier between it and the service road. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice place right off I-35. Construction on highways to get here is awful. The park is very nice. Like a little neighborhood. The spots are nice and pretty roomy. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The little path to get to our site was a little sketchy and needs to be repaved. The pool looked inviting but we didn't use. Nice area to walk pets. Pros: good shade trees, nice playset, grounds well kept

Cons: jammed in like sardines, railroad ties make it hard to park/set up, rude staff, 24/7 traffic noise, hook ups far apart, no 20 amp service as advertised, traffic in and out of park at all hours, airplane traffic noise, pool was hot (felt like a swamp).

At check in, the receptionist knew our rig length and slides. Our first given site was not big enough. We barely made a loop through it to circle back to office. After explaining to staff, they assigned a premium site which was much more spacious. There are only a few premium sites at this campground. The rest of the park is very tightly arranged. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is very confusing to get to, made even worse by the fact that it seems all the interstates in and around Dallas are under construction. We got lost, but a phone call to a very nice lady at the park office got us back on the right track. This is an older park, but pretty well maintained. Sites are close but level. We only stayed one night, but would stay here again for a short time. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed two nights. 40 foot diesel pusher pulling a toad. The park is easy on and off the highway with little street or road noise. Staff was courteous and welcoming. All hook ups worked fine. Site was hard to level. We had to shore up wood to get it right. There was lot of space to walk about with the dog. We use our dish and antenna and have our own WIFI. There WIFI worked good for basic stuff. We would stay here again. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We were pleasantly surprised with this park. The park is right on I-35 East which is a little noisy, if that bothers you. The front of the park is transients; the back is very permanent. Our site was treed but we were able to have satellite service. They have a great grassy area in the front which is nice for the dog. Everyone was very nice & accommodating. I would not want to have a lot toward the back, but the front is fine. This is NOT an RV resort, but it is a convenient, clean place to spend a few days while visiting Dallas. They even have an RV & car wash! We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate was $38. Good Sams subtracts 10%. Add $2.50 for electric and $4 per kid over age NINE. (My 10 & 11 year old were extra).

Park was small, but otherwise comparable to a Thousand Trails campground. Small pool and Hot tub. Small playground. Exercise room. Meeting hall. Laundry ($1.75 wash / $1.25 dry). Decent camp store. Horseshoes. Dog walk.
Internet was Tengonet, but free. Available at sites. Moderate speed for internet, but good for Tengonet.

Facilities were older, but in decent repair. After hours check is was marked and well-organized.

Sites were VERY close together, but basically dropped in Dallas suburbia- about 1 miles to anything. Interstate noise = YES. Airplane noise = yes. The whole campground is full of tress and pretty shady, which is rare for Texas!

There is a large car wash with a 13' bay with ladders for washing RVs. We fed $10 worth of quarters and got a pretty clean bus.

Overall, we arrived road-weary and worn-down. It was a great place to restock and restore. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Entrance is DIRECTLY off I-35. You basically take the ramp directly into the lot. They have it lit up like a runway with landscaping lights at night.

This was our second stay at Destiny - on the same site! the park is literally right off I-35E, easy to access. Check-in was smooth. There is a large area to exercise your dog off leash. The pool and hot tub were clean and offered great relaxation after a long day's drive. Call ahead, they have many seasonal campers and sites go quickly. Use the exit BEFORE the one your GPS gives you if you have a large rig and tow. The exit right in front of the park entrance can get tricky, especially with all the construction. Very nice clean park. Beautiful green spaces. You can tell the owners and staff work hard to maintain the park. Great proximity to Dallas. Road construction makes finding the park tricky. This resort does not have cement pads and spaces are very tight. Ours was under large tree so after the week's stay we had to sweep the slide covers before closing. Trees really needed to be trimmed. Very high percent of old trailers that lived there full-time.

Tight driving around so if you choose to stay over night don't come in after dark.

Also railroad ties around site that are too close for larger rigs. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We called late from the road for a reservation trying to stretch travel distance on this trip. We were quickly accommodated by the Staff including "amended" directions for the correct exit to take from I-35E South. The one the GPS provides is too short for an RV to make the turn from the ramp. After check-in we followed the map to our site. It was a corner pull-thru that wasn't very level, But we realized we were lucky to have gotten a site so late. It was clean and had a picnic table that was easy to move. The camp has by far the best showers and restrooms you will ever find. clean, spacious, great water pressure and hot water! The hot tub was perfect for the aching back and made for a great night sleep. despite the full park, it was quiet by sunset. There was a great mix of overnight and extended stay campers. We met a lot of great folks on our corner site in just a few hours.

We camp in a 27' Class A. We camped at Destiny Dallas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If your rig needs a wash, there is a big-rig Rub-A-Dub wash rack on site complete with second story stairs to reach the tough spots. If you travel with a dog that needs room to run, there are a couple of well maintained acres at the front of the park to run, throw a frisbee or just walk.
