Mar 2018 - $1.00
Self contained units only. No restrooms available. Still free for 3 nights! Level 50 Amp FHU long pull thru site. Road noise as it's on main road. Great for an overnight. Left donation in box to help defray electric cost and to encourage them to keep the campground free. We would stay here again on way thru. - lstaff

There's nothing fancy about this RV park, but it works just great for us. Long pull-through sites with 50 amp, sewer, and water. Right off the highway, so it's easy in and out. Clean. And free. This is just fine for a one-night stop. We ate at a diner across the highway (Dinner Bell), which was quite good. There is an easy stop for diesel at a Stripes across the highway and to the east. Couldn't be happier, even though this is just a gravel parking lot with hookups. - kmghmg
Sep 2015 - $10.00
This is a free rv park on the main highway through Muleshoe that allows visitors to stay for 3 days free. Donations are appreciated. Large level gravel parking spots with 50 amp service, good ota tv and convenient to
shops and restaurants make this a great spot to stop and rest awhile. We will definitely stop here again if we are in the area. - dok
Sep 2018 - $5.00
Stayed in Full Hook Up area. Originally a park for small rigs. Plenty of room, level and easy to find. Used my AT&T for WiFi. OTA TV is good for Lubbock stations. Would recommend to all travelers. The fee is free, but happy to donate in the box. Town is large enough to have choice of restaurants, groceries and some shopping. Close enough to Lubbock to use as base for attending Texas Tech events. - tbax46
May 2017 - $5.00
Free RV Park in town. Main part of CG has electric and water sites. However, they have added some FHU sites on the opposite side of the horseshoe pits. Great place for an overnight stop. $5 was a donation. Thanks Waylon for park! - jnateg
Jul 2016 - $1.00
City run Park in the hometown of Waylon Jennings. About 15 spaces. No sewer. Only a few appear to have electric. Some of the water faucets are broken. Dirt sites with some grass. Cement picnic tables under little covered "pavilions" Low hanging tree branches. But trees offered SHADE to some sites. Yay!
When we pulled in about 11:00 am we were the only RV there. That gave us a chance to pick a site with SHADE, no low hanging branches, water and electric. I have to admit, it was a little "creepy" being there alone until other RV's showed up later in the day. Get there early.
What a nice Texas gesture to have a RV Park like this. Leave a nice donation because this kind of hospitality is what makes the world go round. God bless Texas, Littlefield and the memory of Waylon Jennings for their generosity! - Wjell
