As mentioned in a previous review, the park owner met us on a nearby street and guided us to our site. He was driving a front-loader at the time. The site was mostly level, dirt and well equipped with power, water, sewer and a dumpster for trash. We spent a very restful night watching the local deer graze on the vegetation about 25 feet from our rig. The sky was dark enough to appreciate the stars above and there was a gentle breeze to provide natural cooling. We were in a transient RV parking area of an otherwise mobile home park. Because the owner detected that our rig was not quite level, he placed some boards under our road-side wheels to offset the slight tilt. This is a lovely place to stop and just detach from the "modern" world. - Dunwoodyradio

Owner is outstanding. Upon calling in our reservation he asked me to call back when we arrive at Sonora so he can give directions and meet us to guide us to our spot. GPS doesn't always do it right. I gave high scores for friendliness, 50 amp power, sewer, and water eventhough it's a dirt lot. There are no amenities but we were just there overnight. I would stay again for one or two nights. $22 is very cheap. We were I a 42ft motorhome with tow car. - Carrie Houser

First off, customer service is exceptional! Manager comes out and guides you into the park after a call from the exit. It looks pretty run down as you follow him through mobile homes and trailers. This is basic bare bones - no restrooms - just for an overnight. It is just a small dirt lot but has full hookups with 50 amps which you pull alongside. Also had a courtesy sewer hose at utilities. Cash or check is needed. It was safe, quiet, and easy in & out being 1 mile from I-10. - Beachside Baby

This was a great stay. Nice spots great price, friendly and accommodating staff. Deer roamed the property at night, and at sundown bats fly around the property, loved watching them. Showers were clean.no sewer hookup because of caverns, but he directed us to a free dump at a eastern rest stop a few miles away. - Cajun-lady

The campground was neat and clean. The staff are excellent and very helpful. They have no check-in or checkout time. We came in at 10 pm and he directed me to the spot and told me to pay in the morning. I would highly recommend this place the caverns are amazing and so are the staff. Water and 50 amp power but no sewer. I would love to stay again thank you to all the staff. Oh and by the way I love the store they have and home made fudge. - Betty Perez

Absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend Camping here and taking the tour. Camp sites are tight for big rigs but doable and well worth it. Nature at it's finest! - JohnandLisa
