This little park is a true diamond, and a gift to RV travelers. With a nightly fee of $0 for the first three nights and $5 after how can you go wrong! I have paid over $50 and got a lot less for my money. The park is convenient, clean, well lighted and extremely well kept. Roads and sites are gravel and well maintained. There is some shade at each site. Good water pressure and electricity. Strong Wi-Fi. There is some road noise but we did not find it too objectionable. The folks at the city hall where you sign in, are very friendly and helpful. The town has a few restaurants that are, on balance, pretty good. About the only thing keeping this park from a 10 rating is the fact that it does not have sewer hook up and cable TV. They do have a dump station however, and it is in good shape and convenient. There are no other RV parks for twenty-five miles to the east and perhaps as much as forty miles in all other directions. PS Had to put $1.00 because this site will not take $0. Great little free campground for 2 nights! Clean with water and 30 amp electric and propane 2 doors away! Tell the nice local folks that you stopped because their town puts on a nice free campground and that's the reason you got gas, dinner, breakfast, etc., and it will be here the next time you come through! We camped at Wayne Russell Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

If you are on US-70 and happen to be through or near Floydada, then this is the place to stay. Sites are level there is 30 amp, water and a dump station. Even the newest driver can hit these pull-throughs. Wi-fi is strong and the price can't be beat. It's free for two nights and $5 a night thereafter for five days. It's right next to the city swimming pool. We camped at Wayne Russell Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
