After long day on the road we were glad to pull off and park up. Lots of perm residents but all sites are neat and well maintained. Laundry, showers, check-in are nearing completion. Friendly checkin, convenient. WiFi was down which was very frustrating. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Good for an over night stop. Convenient to I10. Solid utilities. Level sites. Our pull through was a bit tight to enter and exit but manageable if take your time. I would stay here again. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Same old, Same old. Gravel parking lot with functioning hookups - thats it. Easy access to/from I-10. Much less road noise than I remembered. Only a few spots are going to be large enough to put in a big rig and stay hitched up - if its full. As it was, with drilling activity apparently down you wouldn't have any trouble being out of the way. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We found the entrance to the park smooth and easy, no drop offs. Someone may have fixed the entrance. I give the park a 5 based on the easy on easy off from I-10 and that the electric power (30 amp) worked just fine in the June heat, 100* this afternoon. It is just a gravel parking lot, but for an overnight stay what more do you need? If the weather was cool we would probably have opted for a free stay at a local store or empty lot. But in the summer it would have cost me $12-$15 to run the generator for the 12-15 hours we stop for the night. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This is the second nicest RV park in Fort Stockton, but not that great. Big drop off and pot hole right at the entrance. I get the impression they don't have the money to keep this place up, or are not willing to put in the effort to do some simple patch and paint on their park. Their website is nothing more than a story about how he acquired the park, but no mention of the prices or other pertinent information to the traveler. This place is cash only, and you may have to self register. They no longer have cable either as their website states. We just needed a quick overnight stop and chose this location because the reviews were not horrible and the rates were reasonable, we didn't want to pay for a pool we weren't going to use. Attention campers - a correction needs to be made to the reviews. The office was locked even though someone was inside. We followed the late check in instruction, even though it was only 4:00 p.m. If Wi-fi was available we wouldn't know as no one was around to offer a password and no information available, only threatening notes from "the Chief" not to try leaving without paying cause he will find you! Couldn't use the bathrooms as they were filthy and disgusting, waste baskets hadn't been emptied for a very long time and no toilet paper available. We spoke to our camp neighbor that said they were at this location on a previous visit and the place was full of workers. Since then the oil and work in the area has dried up and not a dime made in the good times has been put back into the place. Stay here only if you are desperate and totally self contained and don't mind heavy I-10 traffic noise. We definitely will never stay here again. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Truck Camper.

Very basic--spots are gravel and level--everything worked. Showers were clean. Easy on and off. There was quite a bit of road noise--but for one night it was perfect. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park several times over the years. It is very basic but everything works. They say they have now discontinued cable TV. Rates are $16 for 30 amp and $18 for 50 amp. Quite a few permanents. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Very basic dirt sites. The sites are very long so we were able to keep hooked up to the 5th wheel overnight. I was able to connect to the Wi-Fi, but never able to actually get online, but I was able to tether on my AT&T phone. This is a good overnight stay for a reasonable price on the very long Interstate 10 through Texas! Just look for the big arrows stuck in the ground. Parking lot, gravel and sand. We had 50 amp, power and water were good. Good overnight spot. Cable TV was limited and did not use the WiFi. Easy on and off the highway. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This park is good for an overnight stop, just off interstate 10 and easy access. Wi-Fi and Verizon cell were good. Gravel sites, no grass and not many trees. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Motorhome.

For the price, this park is OK for a short stay. Most occupants are long term, but plenty of sites are available for transients - reservations are not accepted. We had a hard time locating it because our GPS would not accept the I-10 address. We had to call for directions from the Wal-Mart parking lot. It is on the north service road, east of I-10 exit 257. GPS coordinates are N30º54.368' & W102º54.029'. Payment in cash only. Price paid is for 30A full hook up. On arrival we asked about the cable TV quality, noting that a previous reviewer said the picture was poor. The owner said all sites are the same and his long term customers have no complaints. The signal at our TV was weak, some stations were good, others poor - ABC and Fox News were audio only. He tested reception at the post with a TV and 6-foot cable and said any problem beyond that is up to the customer. If you have an RV with long built-in internal cables, splitters and a switch box and you connect to the post with a long cable, your reception will probably be poor. Great stopping point in this part of Texas. Nothing glamorous but more than adequate. Owner friendly and helpful. Cash only, no credit cards. Crushed rock sites, easy in and out. Rate is for 50 amp service, 30 amp is $2 less. Some road noise from the Interstate but not unbearable. We would definitely return if we were passing through this part of Texas. We were in site C-5. 50 amp was no good. Couldn't run both ac. The owner goes home at night so we couldn't move. Other than that it was OK for a stop over. We camped at Camp Stockton RV Park (formerly Comanche Land RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Dirt and gravel lot, but the sites are very level and getting cable for the rate is unusual. Owner was friendly. As stated in other reviews the cable was a bit snowy. We were probably the only non long term RV at the park. Some road noise, but it eased up later in the night. Descent place for an overnight stop and you can't beat the rate for a 50 amp, full hook-up. Since Fort Stockton is a logical stop for traveling through Texas, we will probably stop here again.
