Access was great. Park was nice. Leveling was a bit more than normal. Had quiet hours from 8-8 but barking dog until 11:00 plus that was a pain. Owners not in office and trailer owner not around so barking continued for hours. Why have dog rules and quiet hours if they are not enforced. Utilities did work fine however. And exit was easy. Easy off and on for Rt 10. Did not hear much highway noise. On site restaurant that was convenient after driving all day. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very friendly park with a small cafe for dinner and breakfast. Good sized sites with plenty of room. Big rig friendly for sure. Unfortunately the gravel at our spot was extremely uneven and there were lots of large black ants. We will stay again when passing through. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed one night on our way to Waco. Very old park that was once paved, mostly gravel now. They are in the process of making improvements. Great fenced doggie area and a pool that looked nice but we didn't use. Small dinner on site for breakfast and dinner. limited selection but it was very good. Good WiFi and great water pressure. Lots of permanents and a fair amount of travels too. Sewer connection is in the back of the site so you need 2 hose connections. We would stay here again. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Thank you so much for staying with us! We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that you had a chance to dine at the cafe. We limit what is offered on the menu so that we provide quality meals to all of our diners. We are in the process of making improvements and plan on doing more. We hope to see you again when your travels bring you back through the area!

Easy to get to from I-10. The park has been upgraded for the past few years. Good wifi and cable. The sites are easy to get into and have good parking for your vehicle. The pool was busy even though we did not use it. The café had great chicken fried steak for dinner. We would stay here again. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Thank you for staying with us! You are right about not being able to have lush green grass here! We do our best to have a clean place for all to make their stop here. We are very happy to hear that you got to try out the cafe for dinner and we hope that you were able to make it to breakfast as well before heading back out on the road. This park was fine for a couple of nights. The dog park was nice, but it had the only grassy area for our dogs. We did like the fact they have a small restaurant so we didn't have to cook if we didn't want to. We ate breakfast there our first morning. I would suggest trying to get more and larger trees planted. We were traveling with friends and the managers had assigned us the first 2 sites in the park. Since that would mean we would have the coming and going traffic they nicely accommodated us and moved us to 2 interior sites. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wow! What a difference a year makes. I don't know why we came back this year but glad we did! Last year we could not wait to leave this park. The grounds were not well taken care of, unfriendly staff (at least when we were here). This year, clean and orderly with an escort to your site. Office staff friendly. Owners have done about face with this park and we were pleasantly surprised. Great place for a stop between El Paso and San Antonio. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park in this desert Southwest Texas town. Somewhat unique in that there is a cafe on site, open for breakfast and dinner but not lunch. We ate at the cafe one evening and was not overly impressed with the food but it was OK (some reviews have said the chicken fried steak was the best; we found it mediocre at best). Unfortunately one of the two restroom buildings was under renovation so it was a significant walk to the remaining one by the office, but that restroom/shower room was clean and decently maintained. The site was level and not too close to our neighbors. I would definitely stay there again in if that part of Texas. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We came to Ft. Stockton in part to visit Marfa, TX which contains a large collection of minimalist artist Donald Judd. His art does nothing for me, and my wife who instigated the visit was quite disappointed. A long way to go for not much to see. Do not go on a Sunday, everything is pretty much closed.

Thank you for stopping in and staying with us. We appreciate hearing from all of our guests as it helps to correct mistakes that may exist and to plan for future improvements. We are happy to hear that you did enjoy your visit with us and that you would stay with us again. By that time the renovations will be completed so there will be less of a walk. As for the the cafe, thank you for letting us know about your experience. We will let Chef Jo know about it and see what we can do to make it better for you!

Over night stay only. A gravel dusty park just off highway 10 between Fredericksburg & Roswell,NM. Very friendly staff. Some trees but mostly unshaded. Site 5 -a pull-through near pool and several rows from road. Restaurant on site. Did not use facilities. Many 5th wheels and towables. Cable and WiFi, no TV antenna service as you are out in the boonies. Five miles to town. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a repeat visit for us, as the park is conveniently on the route we regularly travel from Arizona to Texas. Fort Stockton RV Park has some nice pull-throughs for overnighters wanting to leave a tow car attached. Roadrunner Cafe on-site restaurant offers inexpensive dinner and breakfast. (We opted for the chicken fried steak plate). The cable TV service worked well and park Internet was OK. We would happily stay here again. Note: apparently some GPS systems get confused with this address. Ours was sure the interstate access bridge was not load rated for our rig, even though it was fine. The park sends good directions with its email confirmation letter. Basically the instruction is to take Exit 264 at Warnock Road. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

We found the park just as we expected. Our site was a good one. We had a small tree for some shade and the site was close to level. We were impressed with the dog park - large and grassy. It was good to be able to let our dog run free. We were surprised at the number of RVs there that people lived in full time, but there was plenty of space for the many folks who pulled in for the night. We would stay here again on our way across Texas. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
