This is not a resort. But this is a good park for a 1 or 2 night stay. There are several "permanent" residents; I believe these are workers that come and go with job situations. All were pleasant.
The entire facility is gravel so could be dusty if windy. The sites are drive through and adequate length. They are wide enough to park your tow vehicle if need be. Manager was very nice and helpful. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park for an overnight stay. Sites are all pull-thru, gravel and level. Owners are very nice and escort you to your space. Not much in the area, but this is a great place to stop when traveling thru. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice overnight stop in tiny Fort Stockton. Cash gets you a 10% discount and you get a level gravel spot with few amenities. Park wifi worked well. They have a single stall bathroom, a small pool, and a grassy dog park. Dust is a constant issue when the wind blows as everything in the park is gravel. I made a reservation two days earlier, which they lost, but they had spots available. Both ATT & Verizon have strong signals. All sites are satellite friendly. Some sites are very close together but most of those are occupied by long term workers. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great little park. As previous reviews have said it is up on a rise so you get beautiful sunrise and sunset views from all around. The park has straight and easy access, escort to your site, neat and clean sites with gravel and raised patio with picnic tables. The sites are wide and easy to navigate in and out, all pull-thrus. The only issue is that the address listed on the website doesn't work in GPS. Directions were hard to follow and we had a hard time finding it going West. We called and the very friendly owner helped us get there. Staff are great, it's all owner operated, nice little pool, cute little decorations all over the park as well as murals on the walls going in and out. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

It was very clean!! The sites were rock/dirt/shell (could be dicey in rain). But the sites were clean as clean could be! Looked as if they scraped them level routinely. Raised tile patios with picnic tables. Trees growing, but young. Utilities hidden by wooden fence between sites. I only gave a nine as it could get muddy if it rained. It is called Hill Top for a reason. Lovely sunset view from our site. I would defiantely stay there again. Not much to do in area, but an excellent one night stay! We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is very clean. The roads and sites are rolled gravel (very hard) CG has dog park and dog walk/run. CG is along I-10 but very little road noise. Most of the residents work on the pipeline and there is very little daytime activity. Because of the location on a hill top, the winds can be extremely high. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not much to add to other reviews. Met Owner. He is friendly and concerned about the up keep of the Park. Once the planted trees grow taller, they will provide shade and a needed windbreak. We would stay here again. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Poor wifi. Windy and dusty. Waited 40 minutes for receipt for cash payment. It's a shame. A little extra effort and these folks could have a winner. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Adequate for stopover. All gravel, sites close together. Sits on a hill overlooking Ft. Stockton. Everything worked including wifi. I downgraded for only having one shower/toilet per sex, inexcusable in a park this size. Wind was very strong and precluded use of TV antennas and awnings. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

New with very young trees, so no shade but it's on top of a hill with a nice breeze. The best place to stay on this section of I-10. Very, very clean. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is easy to access from the interstate and easy to maneuver through. Interior roads and sites are level gravel. Vegetation within the park is mainly around the pool, office and laundry areas but everything is very neat and well maintained. Utilities, including wi-fi, worked well. AT&T phone and data service is available in the area. We were escorted to our site by the cheerful office staff. The price reflects a cash discount. We would be happy to stay here again. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I would have given this campground a higher rating, unfortunately we arrived after a rain and since the interior roads and sites are bare ground it was nothing but mud. Just hooking up left my shoes with an inch of mud. The rate reflects the "cash" discount. All the utilities work. We cannot speak to the cleanliness of the restrooms or any of the rest of the facility because getting there would have entailed walking through the mud. The campground is close to I-10 and convenient as an overnight stop. Sites are fairly close together. There is no shade or privacy. There appear to be many long term campers who are working in the oil business, though this did not pose a problem. Campground has WiFi that worked fairly well until evening when everyone got home from work and then it slowed to the point of being unusable. We would stay here again as an overnight destination just not after a rain. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is not much to Fort Stockton. They have a municipal statue of a Roadrunner, purportedly one of the biggest around and good for a souvenir photo. Plenty of truck stops and mediocre restaurants. Mainly this town is just a stopover for truckers along I-10 and a jumping off point for tourists to Big Bend Natl. Park. The town seems to be experiencing a bit of a resurgence due to work in the oil fields as new hotels and facilities are being built along the interstate.

A good park for an overnight stay, close to I-10. This park is on a hill as named and can be windy. The hookups were good and park seems to be fairly new. Over the air TV had good reception. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate of $27.00 per night was discounted from their normal $30.00 rate because we paid cash. This was our 2nd time staying in the park and since the last time, it seems that a lot of full time residents have moved in. The park is essentially a gravel parking lot but it has modern hookups and enough space between sites. There is a nice dog pen. We were not able to get connected to Wi-Fi until after 10 PM when I imagine other users had logged off for the night. There is a bit of traffic noise from I-10 but not that bad. If we were passing through the area again, we would stay here. The park is good for an overnight stop but there's not much in the area to keep us here longer than one night. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nothing spectacular about the park, but does have nice pull-throughs. Bathhouse is only for one person but was clean. Picked up satellite TV without a problem. Good place for an overnight. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
