Have stayed there numerous times, great park. Just 10 minutes to town. Spotless, gravel level sites, trees, 2 rally halls, lending library, new cable installed, strong Wi-Fi, great staff, and wide sites. Will stay there again. We did not use showers, etc. No pool. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do in town, check out Rock Box theatre...live show, we go every time we are here..we live in Kemah, Texas.

Level sites, 6 spotless individual shower/toilet rooms, rec room, laundry and small activities room make this a popular place for rallies and groups. Lighted stanchions and perimeter lighting allows walking after dark. There is a koi pond and another pond with a small deck and seating near a waterfall. Well maintained, which is expected for the premium price. About a one mile walk to downtown--do-able if you don't mind walking on the streets mist of the way. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We walked about a half mile down quiet streets to the Sunset Grill for breakfast. Great food in a nice, small local place.

Stayed last weekend in April while visiting Fredericksburg. Not walkable to main street but it is an easy drive. The park is immaculate and nicely landscaped. While there are a lot of sites, the park is very quiet. Sites are mostly level. Wi-Fi excellent, Verizon excellent. Weather was 50s at night and upper 70s daytime. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Favs: The Auslander, Fredericksburg Brewery, Cultures Bar & Grill, Silver Creek Bar and Grill had nice outdoor music. Beer was excellent everywhere

The gold nugget here was the Pacific War National Museum, Tix good for 48hrs. We spent two mornings going through all three places.

$20/person a van will take you to all the wineries. (There are more wineries than you can cover in one day) Grape Creek, Four Point and Becker were highly recommended by several of our neighbors.

We always stay at this park when in the area. Crushed gravel sites are level and good, as are connections. Everything is immaculate, and we love this park, but there were a couple of negatives on this trip. The WiFi was the poorest we have ever had at this park, ranging from so-so to non existent, and we were next to the bathhouse where the tower was. Cable had been out for a week when we got there; we were there another 6 days, and it still wasn't working. I realize that the park could not help that Time Warner had not fixed the new line they were supposed to lay, but when a park advertises cable, and it is out for two weeks, I believe the park should make some compensation to customers. No pool or exercise equipment; this is strictly an adult park with nothing for kids to do. No on site trash pick up, although the dumpster is located right at the exit of the park. The park is conveniently located, and we will definitely be back. We just hope they get the WiFi and TV upgraded. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We always go to the old fashioned dime store, Dooleys, right in the middle of town. There are several good German restaurants, and Mamacitas for Tex Mex are all good. If you come in April, be sure to drive the Willow City Loop to see the bluebonnets.

Fredericksburg RV Park is located in the middle of town. Price was for 50 Amp full hook ups. Water pressure is 40 psi. The is a well maintained, landscaped park with gravel driveways and pads. There are grassy areas between each of the pads. Time Warner was installing new services so there were only 3 cable TV channels (one of them in Spanish), but OTA (over the air) eleven channels worked with a lot of tuning. ATT phone service is 5 out of 5 bars; Verizon was 4 out of 5 bars. There is no trash pickup at the sites. There are mature shade trees, free ice, and a shaded sitting area by a coy pond with Mallard ducks. The free WiFi strength and response is good, but constricted bandwidth means pictures on websites will slowly "paint" down the computer screen. Video is out of the question. There are concrete patios and picnic tables. There are no fire rings. There were a lot of newer, large class A's and fifth wheel trailers. There were no flies or mosquitoes which made sitting out under the awning enjoyable. Beggar's Lice (plant seeds) are in the grass and get caught in our dog's long hair and wedge between his toes. We'll stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

City Cafe is a great value, serves breakfast all day, but closes at 2:00 PM.

The Admiral Nimitz Museum, Combat Pacific Zone, and National Museum of the Pacific War are worth seeing. Luckenbach is a must. Alamo Springs is a great destination for hamburgers.

Friendly office staff. Site are very narrow and close to your neighbor. We moved the picnic table so we could use the cement patio for our lawn chairs. There was no other spot level enough at our site for a lawn chair. I wouldn't stay for more than a few days in order to see Fredericksburg. WiFi was slow. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Museum of the Pacific War is a must do. Takes two days.

Small quiet and clean park with good access to downtown Fredericksburg. Although they claim it is walking distance to the shops, it's a long walk. Great coffee in the party room each morning. The pads are crushed stone and level. We plan on staying again in September of 2015. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent park. Clean, manicured, level pull-through spots. The wi-fi and cable worked very well. Bathroom and shower are extremely clean and private. It is very convenient to Main St and all the highways. We enjoyed simply walking our dog around the park, sitting by the fish pond, and we appreciated the friendly staff and long-term campers. There were several long-term campers there. They are proud of their chosen temporary homes, as they should be. Great, great park. Can't say enough good. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is excellent. They have individual shower/bathrooms that are extremely clean. The camp sites have plenty of room on both sides for slide-outs. They have a small dog park at the back that turned out to be invaluable. This park is very dog friendly. We stayed here 5 days for a car show and was sorry to have to leave. It is close to town, but would be a stretch to try to walk it. I did not see a pool but was not looking for one. I don't know about Wi-Fi. Didn't pull out the computer but the cable was adequate. We camped here in a 42' motorhome towing a 20' car trailer. It was very easy to get into and out of. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our most favorite RV park out of 200 we have visited! Just the right size, with all pull-through. The owners should get a special Good Sam award for the best managed RV park. The entire staff pays attention to detail and it makes for a wonderful and extraordinary RV experience. The sites are good size, level with grass area and a picnic table. Immaculate doesn't describe how well they keep the bathrooms and facilities. Nice touches: extra lighting in the shower area; also extra TP provided if existing roll is low. FREE ICE puts this place "over the top" for me. Although it made me sad when I saw a few people abuse it by filling their HUGE ice chests. Lots of cable TV stations. Wi-Fi good. Staff very enthusiastic and friendly. Close to Fredericksburg which happens to be my favorite town in all of U.S. I used the laundry room which, of course, was IMMACULATE and lots of folding tables and racks.another nice touch: proceeds from laundry room go to cancer center. Good recycling--a can smasher is even provided. Too bad most folks don't use it. We really enjoyed the entertainment on Wednesday nights. Wish there were more activities in May. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Just finished a 2 week trip to Texas in our 5th wheel, and this was one of our favorite RV parks. Here's the pros: Centrally located in Fredericksburg, easy layout of the park with good pull through spots, Wi-Fi worked, small picnic tables by each spot, good bathrooms (very clean and well kept up), cable worked well, staff was good, check-in was easy, no long-term residents in the park. Here's the cons: There really weren't any. The only thing that would have made it better was a little larger spaces. I would give it a 9 out of a 10, and the only reason I didn't give it a 10 is that I don't give out 10s unless something was exceptional. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here again while participating in Texas Hell Week and it did not disappoint, again. Clean park that is well and regularly maintained with a varied schedule of activities on site each day. Free ice! Washers and dryers work great for a reasonable price, major hospital nearby, and VFW hall and Carls restaurant have gates to their property via the park. Will most definitely stay here whenever in the area. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is in a great location to visit the historic district of Fredericksburg. We were in Site #8. Nice safe and quiet park. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had planned to stay for only 3 days but got caught in the ice storm that hit the area. They took great care of us and made sure we could stay in our same spot for another couple of days. The restrooms including showers were very clean. Laundry room was also very clean. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
