Clearly the best option in Fredericksburg. Interior roads are paved, but oddly, the parking sites are not. Instead the rig gets parked on a salmon colored gravel that gets continuously tracked into the coach. Sites are of adequate size and utilities are in the right place for most coaches and worked well. WIFI worked well, but got slow when the park was full. Lots of seasonal and year round residents, but all sites and units are well maintained. A variety of winter activities in the park. Rate shown is for monthly rent and electrical. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Otto's has the best chef in town. Don't miss the Nimitz Museum or Luckenbach. Jenny's has a unique twist on a burger. It is brisket, not ground beef and it is excellent.

Very nice park in town. All sites are pullthrus. Check in was fast and they were very friendly and helpful. We were there on New Years Eve, and they had a fun party with a band. Sites were level. The bathrooms were individual rooms with your own toilet, shower and sink. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

So many fun things to do in Fredericksburg. Visit the Nemitz museum and WWII Pacific museum. You could spend a couple of days touring the wineries and 2 more visiting the shops. We loved Bella Pasta (be there before they open if going on the weekend), and Burger, Burger. Enchanted Rock is amazing, but try and not go on the weekend, as it can get pretty crowded

Loved this RV Park - super close to downtown Fredericksburg. We snagged a site without reservations but because we thought it was a little pricey we only booked one night. Once we looked around we immediately returned to book a second night. The woman in the office was very friendly and welcoming. She told us about area things to do and even invited us to the ice cream social in the clubhouse. The grounds were very well maintained. The laundry was bright, spacious and spotless. The bathrooms are private, with sink, toilet and showers and they were also spotless. The free ice machine was a welcome bonus. The owners/employees have a gem here! We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great shopping in town. Lots of craft breweries/wineries in area. Must visit the National Museum of the Pacific War, Lyndon B. Johnson State and National Parks and Luckenbach, TX.

Beautiful park, decent space on decomposed granite with grass alongside. Tables at all sites. But big problem with television. Digital fiber optic cable and unless you have a new TV you may have problems with their system. DirectTV works great IF you can get a clear shot at the southwest sky. To me it is not worth staying here. Also, no trash pickup. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots and lots to do in town.

Closest RV park to Town and very convenient. We had a good reception when we arrived and they gave us a nice spot away from the more crowded middle of the part. Crushed gravel sites all pull-thrus. Since it wasn't crowded it seemed very spacious, but I'm sure would seem less so on cool weather weekends. Very good cable TV - fiber optic in fact. We did go scope out the KOA and while it was nice it wasn't much different and it was a full 5 miles from town. We'll stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The thing to do in Fredericksburg is to shop and eat. It's a fun little Texas German town.

Sweet and clean little park. Quiet, level pads, wonderful restrooms, and extremely well maintained. Knowledgeable and hospitable Park Hosts wrangled ice-cream social for $1 on Sunday nights. We were caravaning with 2 other rigs and Checkin was a breeze. Don't miss this park while in the Texas Hill Country or anywhere near Fredericksburg! We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Off Hwy 87, and easy access to great shopping and historic sites.

Have stayed there numerous times, great park. Just 10 minutes to town. Spotless, gravel level sites, trees, 2 rally halls, lending library, new cable installed, strong Wi-Fi, great staff, and wide sites. Will stay there again. We did not use showers, etc. No pool. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do in town, check out Rock Box theatre...live show, we go every time we are here..we live in Kemah, Texas.

Level sites, 6 spotless individual shower/toilet rooms, rec room, laundry and small activities room make this a popular place for rallies and groups. Lighted stanchions and perimeter lighting allows walking after dark. There is a koi pond and another pond with a small deck and seating near a waterfall. Well maintained, which is expected for the premium price. About a one mile walk to downtown--do-able if you don't mind walking on the streets mist of the way. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We walked about a half mile down quiet streets to the Sunset Grill for breakfast. Great food in a nice, small local place.

Sites gravel and level, shade trees, 2 rally halls, cable, Wi-Fi, friendly helpful staff. Nicely laid out with small Koi pond with a water fall and seating at back of park. Close to shopping, easy in and out. Would stay there again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Fredericksburg has good shopping, especially Rustlin' Robs, a "grazing" store.

Stayed last weekend in April while visiting Fredericksburg. Not walkable to main street but it is an easy drive. The park is immaculate and nicely landscaped. While there are a lot of sites, the park is very quiet. Sites are mostly level. Wi-Fi excellent, Verizon excellent. Weather was 50s at night and upper 70s daytime. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Favs: The Auslander, Fredericksburg Brewery, Cultures Bar & Grill, Silver Creek Bar and Grill had nice outdoor music. Beer was excellent everywhere

The gold nugget here was the Pacific War National Museum, Tix good for 48hrs. We spent two mornings going through all three places.

$20/person a van will take you to all the wineries. (There are more wineries than you can cover in one day) Grape Creek, Four Point and Becker were highly recommended by several of our neighbors.

We always stay at this park when in the area. Crushed gravel sites are level and good, as are connections. Everything is immaculate, and we love this park, but there were a couple of negatives on this trip. The WiFi was the poorest we have ever had at this park, ranging from so-so to non existent, and we were next to the bathhouse where the tower was. Cable had been out for a week when we got there; we were there another 6 days, and it still wasn't working. I realize that the park could not help that Time Warner had not fixed the new line they were supposed to lay, but when a park advertises cable, and it is out for two weeks, I believe the park should make some compensation to customers. No pool or exercise equipment; this is strictly an adult park with nothing for kids to do. No on site trash pick up, although the dumpster is located right at the exit of the park. The park is conveniently located, and we will definitely be back. We just hope they get the WiFi and TV upgraded. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We always go to the old fashioned dime store, Dooleys, right in the middle of town. There are several good German restaurants, and Mamacitas for Tex Mex are all good. If you come in April, be sure to drive the Willow City Loop to see the bluebonnets.

Fredericksburg RV Park is located in the middle of town. Price was for 50 Amp full hook ups. Water pressure is 40 psi. The is a well maintained, landscaped park with gravel driveways and pads. There are grassy areas between each of the pads. Time Warner was installing new services so there were only 3 cable TV channels (one of them in Spanish), but OTA (over the air) eleven channels worked with a lot of tuning. ATT phone service is 5 out of 5 bars; Verizon was 4 out of 5 bars. There is no trash pickup at the sites. There are mature shade trees, free ice, and a shaded sitting area by a coy pond with Mallard ducks. The free WiFi strength and response is good, but constricted bandwidth means pictures on websites will slowly "paint" down the computer screen. Video is out of the question. There are concrete patios and picnic tables. There are no fire rings. There were a lot of newer, large class A's and fifth wheel trailers. There were no flies or mosquitoes which made sitting out under the awning enjoyable. Beggar's Lice (plant seeds) are in the grass and get caught in our dog's long hair and wedge between his toes. We'll stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

City Cafe is a great value, serves breakfast all day, but closes at 2:00 PM.

The Admiral Nimitz Museum, Combat Pacific Zone, and National Museum of the Pacific War are worth seeing. Luckenbach is a must. Alamo Springs is a great destination for hamburgers.

Friendly office staff. Site are very narrow and close to your neighbor. We moved the picnic table so we could use the cement patio for our lawn chairs. There was no other spot level enough at our site for a lawn chair. I wouldn't stay for more than a few days in order to see Fredericksburg. WiFi was slow. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Museum of the Pacific War is a must do. Takes two days.

Small quiet and clean park with good access to downtown Fredericksburg. Although they claim it is walking distance to the shops, it's a long walk. Great coffee in the party room each morning. The pads are crushed stone and level. We plan on staying again in September of 2015. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
