We had a pull thru site that was long enough for our 44' toy hauler and our truck. Cable TV was included and the wii fi was strong. We only had contact with the front office staff and she was great!! I will stay here when we return in the fall. RV pads are fairly level and pea gravel. Grass between the RV pads. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is all pull-thrus. Sites are gravel, but fairly level. Some sites have more shade. This is a no frills park, but almost downtown and central to all area wineries. About half of the park in long term residents. Almost never any children and no amenities. Their great plus is free ice. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This has always been our park of choice in Fredricksburg, but we are thinking we may change our minds. Park is very nice, immaculately groomed and cared for. Showers, bathrooms, laundry all excellent, as is the lending library. Sites are long and level and are crushed gravel. No pool, hot tub, or exercise facility. Trash not picked up; you have to carry it to the dumpster at the exit gate, which is not a big deal, until you get ready to pull out with your rig. Maintenance people all around to help out. The crushed gravel stuck to our shoes, and we were constantly tracking little rocks into the coach. Wi fi was poor; we were constantly being kicked off, and at times we could not even get our e mail. Cable was nonexistent for us, as we have older TVs with converter boxes, which are supposed to convert the digital signal to our analog, but it doesn't work that way. In a 3 week trip, staying at 4 other parks, we had trouble only at this park. We have encountered this in the past at KOAs; the parks want to blame the cable company. We saw the Time Warner office in town, so we drove over to it to ask what we could do; they told us that this was the plan the park selected, and we were stuck. I went to the laundry at night to see a favorite show, but the TV was high on the wall, and there was no remote anywhere in sight. That said, we still had a good time and were blessed to have a huge shade tree on the west side of our coach. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of neat things to do in Fredricksburg, and lots of good places to eat. The World War II Museum is a must. There are often lots of special events going on, so be sure to check them out. We always like to go to Dooleys 5 and 10 cent store--not many of them left any more.

This may be one of the nicer parks we have stayed in. Very clean, great laundry, level, pull thru sites. All sites have shade trees. The hook ups are located in the correct spot. Ice machine (help yourself). No speed bumps, great cable TV with many channels, great location!

Only a couple of negatives! WIFI was poor (as most RV parks). Crushed gravel, it does get everywhere. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Clearly the best option in Fredericksburg. Interior roads are paved, but oddly, the parking sites are not. Instead the rig gets parked on a salmon colored gravel that gets continuously tracked into the coach. Sites are of adequate size and utilities are in the right place for most coaches and worked well. WIFI worked well, but got slow when the park was full. Lots of seasonal and year round residents, but all sites and units are well maintained. A variety of winter activities in the park. Rate shown is for monthly rent and electrical. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Otto's has the best chef in town. Don't miss the Nimitz Museum or Luckenbach. Jenny's has a unique twist on a burger. It is brisket, not ground beef and it is excellent.

We stayed two nights. Very little road noise. Mostly all pull thru sites, no need to unhook if you don't want to. Sites have picnic table with poured slab, small pea size red rock on pull thru area, roads are paved , not too dusty , lots of trees for shade at each site. Nice size clubhouse, shower Rooms, fenced dog area, easy walk to downtown (1 mile) , lots of unique shops, art shops ( lots of local artist display their talents), cafes, German restaurants, wineries nearby. Many southern Texans stay for winter months. Very friendly staff and friendly rv'ers. We have stayed in two other rv parks in this area and this one is our favourite. We'll be back again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park in town. All sites are pullthrus. Check in was fast and they were very friendly and helpful. We were there on New Years Eve, and they had a fun party with a band. Sites were level. The bathrooms were individual rooms with your own toilet, shower and sink. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

So many fun things to do in Fredericksburg. Visit the Nemitz museum and WWII Pacific museum. You could spend a couple of days touring the wineries and 2 more visiting the shops. We loved Bella Pasta (be there before they open if going on the weekend), and Burger, Burger. Enchanted Rock is amazing, but try and not go on the weekend, as it can get pretty crowded

Loved this RV Park - super close to downtown Fredericksburg. We snagged a site without reservations but because we thought it was a little pricey we only booked one night. Once we looked around we immediately returned to book a second night. The woman in the office was very friendly and welcoming. She told us about area things to do and even invited us to the ice cream social in the clubhouse. The grounds were very well maintained. The laundry was bright, spacious and spotless. The bathrooms are private, with sink, toilet and showers and they were also spotless. The free ice machine was a welcome bonus. The owners/employees have a gem here! Beautiful park, decent space on decomposed granite with grass alongside. Tables at all sites. But big problem with television. Digital fiber optic cable and unless you have a new TV you may have problems with their system. DirectTV works great IF you can get a clear shot at the southwest sky. To me it is not worth staying here. Also, no trash pickup. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Closest RV park to Town and very convenient. We had a good reception when we arrived and they gave us a nice spot away from the more crowded middle of the part. Crushed gravel sites all pull-thrus. Since it wasn't crowded it seemed very spacious, but I'm sure would seem less so on cool weather weekends. Very good cable TV - fiber optic in fact. We did go scope out the KOA and while it was nice it wasn't much different and it was a full 5 miles from town. We'll stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sweet and clean little park. Quiet, level pads, wonderful restrooms, and extremely well maintained. Knowledgeable and hospitable Park Hosts wrangled ice-cream social for $1 on Sunday nights. We were caravaning with 2 other rigs and Checkin was a breeze. Don't miss this park while in the Texas Hill Country or anywhere near Fredericksburg! Have stayed there numerous times, great park. Just 10 minutes to town. Spotless, gravel level sites, trees, 2 rally halls, lending library, new cable installed, strong Wi-Fi, great staff, and wide sites. Will stay there again. We did not use showers, etc. No pool. Level sites, 6 spotless individual shower/toilet rooms, rec room, laundry and small activities room make this a popular place for rallies and groups. Lighted stanchions and perimeter lighting allows walking after dark. There is a koi pond and another pond with a small deck and seating near a waterfall. Well maintained, which is expected for the premium price. About a one mile walk to downtown--do-able if you don't mind walking on the streets mist of the way.
