We have stayed here many times, asphalt road, gravel sites, grass between, nice shade trees, strong wifi, common rec hall with library, reserved rec hall with two kitchens but no utensils so bring all your own stuff to cook with. Check in easy, nice staff and very well maintained grounds. Food truck park next door. NO POOL. Many full time residents 5 th wheels, towables, so many cars. Turns a bit tight for a 40-45 Rv but manageable. We had to reposition our motorhome couple tomes to get rooftop sat unobstructed by trees- but June-Oct you want all the shade you can get. Some sites are closer than others. We always ask for a end site so there is extra room on one side. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a lot of traffic on the road in front of the park, so quieter would be near back, but breeze is in the front. Easy drive to town with lots of shops, art galleries, grocery, bakery, etc and German restaurants. Rock Box live theater is a winner...plus the Nimitz Museum..

This park was well kept. It is very tight maneuvering through the park. Our motorhome is 42' and we were towing a 15' trailer. When my husband made reservations over the phone we were assigned a specific spot due to our total length. When we got there it had been given to someone else. Staff explanation was "things change". More than half of the park was permanent residents. Not sure we will stay again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sorry for the miscommunication. However it's hard to hold a specific site we get lots of 45 ft motorhomes towing vehicles . We do are best to accommodate everyone as best as possible . Are park is not half permanents . But we do get a lot of folks that stay the entire month of May . Sorry to hear you won't be returning .

Very nice and quite park. Sites were a little tight, but still enough room for privacy. Staff in the office could have shown a little more courtesy when greeting guest. There is no pool available for use. Dog walk was nice. Food trucks next door with a bar and live entertainment. Overall, a nice park for relaxing and close to downtown. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park on the outskirts of Frederickburg in the Texas Hill Country. Off the beaten path so one travels state roads to get to the CG. Easy access into and out of campground, internal roads are a bit on the tight side but OK if taken slowly. We took the car off our 45ft MH before getting into our site and had just enough room for our car. I did see some coaches come through for the night however without unhitching. Utilities are good and well placed. Wifi was slow so I switched to my hotspot which worked a bit better. The CG is really clean and neat. Office staff person was a serious type but helpful enough. We would stay here again, great location for visiting that area of the Texas Hill Country, lots to do. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have been here many times. We had a nice shady site with pretty good wi fi most of the time but we get no cable here. We have an older TV that is not digital, built in so there is no place to plug in another kind of box, even though we have the converter box. The office staff blames it on Time Warner, but that is not quite true. We went to Time Warner's office last year, and they told us that the plan they installed was what the park owner wanted. As always, everything clean and well kept. Trash is not picked up; dumpster as you exit the park, which means take it up before you leave in the RV. Great lending library. Ice machine is free. Sites are well kept, as are interior roads. Something new this year. Food truck park has gone in next door. We did not partake, but it looked interesting. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Breakfast at Andy's is good, especially week end buffet. My husband likes to eat German food at Altdorf's, but it was closed for remodeling. I prefer Auslander's, which is very good. The German bakery is very popular for breakfast, but be prepared for a long wait. We always shop at Dooleys, an old five and dime store downtown. We appreciate the fact that Fredericksburg is a shopping mecca, and there is no charge for parking. You just have to drive until you find a space!

All pull thru sites on hard pack red gravel. Small off leash gated dog area and designated dog walk area. No trash pick up, dumpsters at exit gate. Recycle plastics and aluminum only at Rec Hall. Laundry room was clean and multiple machines. Popular with Winter Snowbirds. Sites are close, but enough room for slide outs on both sides and awning. They prohibit mats or anything on grass. Paved small patio and picnic table at each site. Free Ice at Rec Hall. WiFi was decent and plenty of channels on their Cable. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very convenient to downtown and the Wine Trail. The National Museum of the Pacific War is a must do, besides the multiple wineries. This is a fast growing tourist stop....weekends are very busy, so plan for weekday visits too. You need a week or more if you want to visit all this area has to offer.

Very clean. We could see someone rake the site and sweep the patio after each guest left. More gravel on sites would be nice, but the trees in between sites were nice. Sites to the rear of the campground were more spacious side to side. Just a clean nice campground close to town. Very much enjoyed our stay there. All sites are pull through. Great wine tasting ! Make sure to go to Wildseed Farms with plants, cute gift shop and fields of beautiful wildflowers. Peach ice cream at Wildseed Farms is great too. Tubby's Ice House has great pulled pork sandwiches and iced drinks. Museum of the Pacific War/Nimitz Museum is a MUST see and is done VERY well.

Gravel drives and parking spots. Trees throughout the park, but not so many to be an issue regarding navigation to enter/exit or setup. Good power and water with no connection issues. You can keep your toad attached and not extend into the driveway. The office left after hours check in at the office doorway with instruction for the assigned parking space. Office staff was accommodating and no issues were notable. Not a resort, but convenience of location to the Fredericksburg downtown area. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is plenty of walking to do on the main road that passes through the town, with museums, assorted dining, wines, antique and art shops scattered throughout. The Nimitz Museum is also in the immediate area.

campground very neat, clean. Pulled in after office hours and clear instructions on sites available. Wifi decent. Site gravel and fairly level, paved interior roads. This park is in town and very clean. Easy short drive to downtown or the many wineries that are in the area. Nice people run the park and sites were clean and pretty level...won't stay anywhere else if going to Fredricksburg! Don't park on the grass or they will tell you about it! This is a great park: quiet and roomy. The pads are gravel, mostly level (one block on drivers side), with small trees: mostly sunny. No amenities such as pool or playground if you're looking for that. Just 1.5 miles from downtown, so very close and convenient. Easy to navigate, all pull-throughs except the overflow sites. Dog run in back. Restrooms were very nice: basically 5 or 6 individual rooms that had shower, toilet, sink (just like home) and very clean. Laundry was very big, clean, and all units worked. Recreation room also. Several long-term residents and Winter Texans, but all sites were very well maintained and pretty. Staff was courteous and helpful. There were not a lot of families and children. Digital cable channels, wifi good. Verizon cell service was solid. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a food truck park right next door. Walk over and have a delicious burger from Mahaleys. There is also a beer bar in the middle of the truck park. There were only 2 trucks when we were there, but they are working on getting more. Also try the Sunset Grille: off the beaten path, but close to the park. Menu is limited but excellent! Check out the Exxon on Hwy 16/Windcrest as a place to get gas if you are towing your rig. It's reasonably roomy.

The park was very well kept. Very clean. The pads were gravel which got in our shoes and tracked into the camper. Staff very friendly. There is a truck business on one side that has trucks running continually which are very loud. We could not sit outside due to the noise. This is located in a business district so you really don't feel like you are camping. More Hotel on wheels. Also wi-fi was poor. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
