Very clean park. PULL-THRU accommodated my 40 FT 5th wheel and long bed 2500HD and allowed me to unhook and still have plenty of room. Park is well laid out. Maintenance seems to clean and level each site after someone leaves. Both 50A and 30A sockets available. Excellent water pressure. Electricity was right at 120V. Cable was about 2Mbps which is plenty of speed to surf the net and do work but not enough to watch Streaming Videos. Everything is near BUT not walkable (about 1.2 miles away). GREAT restaurant right next to the campground called NURY's. Bathrooms well kept. Sites are gravel but very level. Cable worked fine, about 38 channels. No fire ring or grill for cooking. I will stay here again. We had to leave a day early due to an emergency and the front office gave us a CREDIT for when we come back - totally awesome. Check-In is a breeze. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We really liked it. they are right Behind a Open Post VFW (open to the public). As you know beer at a VFW is considerably cheaper because it's a charitable organization. They have a fence door going from the CG directly to the VFW. Anyway, Nice place. Quiet. It's very quiet. Slips are gravel. And there is no swimming pool or CG store. No signs of Riff Raff. Nice pond in the back. The few full timers that are there, are nice and pleasant but some think the rules don't apply to them. Also many of their slips or pads have too much "Junk" on them, making it look "trailer parkish." JMHO. We really liked it and will be back every time we want to visit Fredericksburg. Our only complaint is that they need to trim their trees more. I was in a pull thru but had to back out because the tree branches/limbs were too low. The hight was ok for TT or fith wheels but not motorhomes that are 13ft in hight and 15-16ft with the Dish. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fabulous park! Friendly staff, clean park, clean laundry. Big sites with plenty of trees for shade. Great location for day trips to Austin and San Antonio. Heart of Hill Country wine country - fabulous restaurants in town. Will definitely come back! Only suggestion for improvement - replace weeds for grass. Dogs had a bunch of stickers in their feet so we keep them on gravel. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Loved the park. Left a voicemail the night before and they called first thing in the am, good sign. Arrived and the park is well maintained. Everything looked fresh, clean and neat. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and fresh a big plus. Plenty of space for my 42' DP and toad. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice and clean, well kept park. Bathrooms were very clean and sites were raked whenever someone leaves for the next camper. Sites were level. cable would not work for us nor any of our group that was staying there on our row of sites. They were very nice to let us use the rec room for free for a potluck we had with friends staying there. Was overcharged by one night but called and they are crediting back my credit card for the extra night. Park is close to downtown but not walking distance. No fire ring or grill for cooking. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean RV park with about 100 sites. All sites were plenty long for you MH and tow car. The owners raked the empty gravel sites each morning to keep it neat. The laundry was positioned in the middle of the park and was spacious and clean. It was $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry. The WiFi was pretty good, although a bit slow and there was a wide variety of cable channels. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is older but clean with long level gravel pads amongst some trees and little grass strips between RVs. Convenient to downtown. When we made the reservation we were asked the make, year and model of our 40' MH. They reserved a site that had limbs overhanging to about 12'. Additionally, the row in which they put us did not have enough turning radius to allow exiting without going over a curb. The choice was the curb or the tree on the inside of the corner. I chose the curb and still brushed an already cut tree on the outside of the turn. The lady who checked us in was a humorless shrew. When we returned to the office the first thing she said was that she did not have a space for us, she did, and we were directed to another site. She must be the owner. Why else would anyone hire a person like that to deal with customers. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

The RV Park is full of winter snow bird, but there were few open spaces when I called for reservations a few days before we arrived in Fredericksburg. The sites are very close together, but there is room for awnings and slide-outs. The Park is very handy to downtown, and we drove the RV to town and parked at the visitor center lot. There was lots of room during the week, but the lot fills up quickly on weekends. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Went to this park when temperatures plunged in the Dallas area - very nice park with mostly winter Texans in residence - nice club area and inexpensive large laundry room, postage stamp size dog park, cable worked well, sites were cleaned daily Only negative is no one told us about the social activities when we checked in - had to find out for ourselves Convenient in town location - we stayed a week We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park for the first time over the Christmas holiday. Overall, we were very happy with the park. It's pretty basic in terms of amenities, but had numerous other advantages. It's clean, very close to town, quiet, and well laid out. There were no rowdy campers partying and making noise. The bathrooms were spotless and never busy. It's not necessarily the best park for children. There's just not a lot for them to do in the park. But, that's only a minor complaint. We will most definitely stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here late Oct with a group of 20 MH's - the same weekend as the Food and Wine Festival, so the park was full. We were happy to find our site (#12) was near perfect level, so we didn't need leveling blocks. A few others had blocks, but only an inch or two. The parking surfaces are well groomed decomposed granite. I watched a staff member sweep off the concrete pad and electric box (cobwebs?) and groom the site after our neighbor pulled out. The bathhouse has private bathrooms, each one with its own toilet, shower and sink. Everything was super clean. There is a rec room in the same building, which had live music one night (not too loud). There is a wonderful clubhouse, which our group rented for a reasonable fee, for our gatherings.

The streets are easy to navigate and big rig friendly. Our MH is only 25' long, but our site was long enough that if we'd brought a toad, we wouldn't have had to unhook. Sites are fairly close together, but not cramped. All have FHU & cable TV. WiFi is available (we didn't use it). There is a picnic table on a concrete pad with grass on either end. No fire rings. Many sites have trees, so some sites would not be satellite friendly, but ours was. I'd ask if that is important to you.

I see remarks about full-timers: they were pretty much at one end and frankly, I didn't have any issue with them. It's nice & quiet, dark at night and everyone seemed to take pride in their space. There is a fenced dog run. Only issue we had was the stickers/burrs (not so much in dog run). Our dogs fur is a magnet for such things and we found out the hard way not to walk them in the grass. My dog stopped in his tracks and when I checked his paws, I found out the hard way, they were loaded with needle sharp stickers. The manager said they do what they can to kill them, but they blow in from the lot next door. They were everywhere, even worse outside the park. Other than that, the place is immaculate and we'd stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here many times, asphalt road, gravel sites, grass between, nice shade trees, strong wifi, common rec hall with library, reserved rec hall with two kitchens but no utensils so bring all your own stuff to cook with. Check in easy, nice staff and very well maintained grounds. Food truck park next door. NO POOL. Many full time residents 5 th wheels, towables, so many cars. Turns a bit tight for a 40-45 Rv but manageable. We had to reposition our motorhome couple tomes to get rooftop sat unobstructed by trees- but June-Oct you want all the shade you can get. Some sites are closer than others. We always ask for a end site so there is extra room on one side. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is a lot of traffic on the road in front of the park, so quieter would be near back, but breeze is in the front. Easy drive to town with lots of shops, art galleries, grocery, bakery, etc and German restaurants. Rock Box live theater is a winner...plus the Nimitz Museum..

This park was well kept. It is very tight maneuvering through the park. Our motorhome is 42' and we were towing a 15' trailer. When my husband made reservations over the phone we were assigned a specific spot due to our total length. When we got there it had been given to someone else. Staff explanation was "things change". More than half of the park was permanent residents. Not sure we will stay again. We camped at Fredericksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Are park is not half permanents . But we do get a lot of folks that stay the entire month of May . Sorry to hear you won't be returning .

Have been here many times. We had a nice shady site with pretty good wi fi most of the time but we get no cable here. We have an older TV that is not digital, built in so there is no place to plug in another kind of box, even though we have the converter box. The office staff blames it on Time Warner, but that is not quite true. We went to Time Warner's office last year, and they told us that the plan they installed was what the park owner wanted. As always, everything clean and well kept. Trash is not picked up; dumpster as you exit the park, which means take it up before you leave in the RV. Great lending library. Ice machine is free. Sites are well kept, as are interior roads. Something new this year. Food truck park has gone in next door. We did not partake, but it looked interesting. Tips for other Campers:

Breakfast at Andy's is good, especially week end buffet. My husband likes to eat German food at Altdorf's, but it was closed for remodeling. I prefer Auslander's, which is very good. The German bakery is very popular for breakfast, but be prepared for a long wait. We always shop at Dooleys, an old five and dime store downtown. We appreciate the fact that Fredericksburg is a shopping mecca, and there is no charge for parking. You just have to drive until you find a space!
