We stayed here during Memorial weekend and would not hesitate to come back. Very nice park and easy to navigate. What I did not like is that they use something called RoverPass to make online reservations. I didn't realize at the time that I would be charged $30 for this "service." Felt that was a ripoff. Parks should pay for this, not the consumer. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a fairly new park so there is good news and bad news. Everything works and the sites are plenty long to park anything. Very easy in and out. Site spacing is wide enough for slides and awnings. Grass is getting fairly well established but not like a mature park. There is no shade except maybe on the West of one side where there is a row of long-termers. The park is on a gentle slope and they could have done a better job of leveling the sites. Ours was off but within the capability of the jacks. The gravel parking areas are not well compacted by use yet so jacks will sink in if it rains. I put boards under mine and the boards pushed a good inch into the ground after a hard rain. The puddle in the grass outside the door took a couple of days to dry up. Park is outside of town on a busy highway with lots of traffic during the day but not too bad at night. Strong Verizon signal. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Arrived after the office was closed and we got our paper work and site number in the office mail box. I was given a gravel pull thru that was easy in/out with 50 Amp FHU. The site has a small concrete pad w/picnic table. The sites are plenty long and wide enough. It is a big park that is in the open, so we used our dish. The wifi worked well and I didn't have to go far for the trash. The park looks well kept. The showers and laundry are spotless. I would stop here again. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We made reservations online. $90 deposit required, in other words full prepay. Never had that experience. I put the address in our GPS and then we were completely confused because the sign said The Vineyards at Fredericksburg, nothing about Quiet Creek RV Park. We ended up going by it and then turning around (not that easy), pulling in and asking another resident if we were in right place. Yes, name change! Check in was easy and our site was perfect, way to the back so no road noise. They have a nice grassy area in the middle of the park and a great fenced dog area. WIFI was decent, quieter slow but we have come to expect this now that everyone has a device or two or three! We use satellite so did't attempt cable hook up but it appears people have had issues with it. As others have mentioned, the placement of the picnic table is very odd. Way to the rear on a concrete slab and you are basically sitting next to your neighbors sewer hookup. We didn't use for that reason and admonishments about putting anything in the grass kept us from moving it! My only complaint is the confusion about the name. A simple email advising this would have saved us some anxiety at the end of a long driving day as others have mentioned, the entrance is at the top of the hill as it changes to two lanes so use caution n. Quite close to town so convenient. Post office right on the way if you need it. HEB grocery not far either. Huge store. Excellent wine selection. Busy Bee Business across from HEB very helpful as we needed to have copies made. We were here on a weekend. Town packed and parking nearly non existent. We chatted with a young couple who told us they don't even try to drive to town. They use Uber

A huge park. Well set out and site level. Roads were very good. Not to far from the center of downtown. Wifi was ok but dropped out a fair bit. Staff was friendly and efficient. Very easy to miss the entrance as the road drops off. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The Pacific War museum was great and that was a suprise to me. I spent 3 hours listening to the audio tour. Great information as I hate reading lots of stuff. The enchanted rock was lovely walk up to the top. The wine at the liquor shop can be half the price

Our pull through site was exceedingly long with plenty of room. Our site was level and the surface was gravel with a nice large plot of grass and a young tree. We also had a concrete patio with a small picnic table. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Looked up this park on the internet and decided to make a reservation. After arriving I remembered the words from another RVing person review, never trust or believe the internet websites or pics of the park. First thing while checking in the wife took the dogs out and was stung several times by ants. Their super duper digital tv didn't work for us and there are no trees. Went to the office no one around only a number to call. We found a space available at the Fredricksburg RV Park which was great and moved the next day. Fairly new park, quite a few spaces. The sites are plenty long enough, however a little narrow. Actually the sites are plenty wide enough but the grass in the site comes right to your door. Our motorhome 37' plus the Jeep. Our daughter came over from San Antonio she has 2015 Honda CRV it fit fine as well. They have a $8.00 early check in policy, we paid it, no big deal. As far as the grounds they are well kept, staff appears out and about mowing and maintaining the park as needed. We spent most of our time in and about town only coming back for evenings. This why they don't get a 10, but I'm sure things will change as they upgrade. There's about a 10 step instruction set up on their park flyer instructing you how to set up your cable TV. Ours never worked. However on the bright side the WIFI was super strong for us. We watched Netflix as needed. Lastly each table has about the smallest picnic table I've ever seen on a really small slab, maybe 8'x8' if that. The concrete slab is set up towards the back on all the medium to larger sites. In our case the picnic table was so far back it was behind our bumper. There's lots of grass, it's maintained well and they instruct you not to put any coverings on the grass. Overall a pretty good park. I look forward to it's upgrades over the years. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

New park only 20 months old and close to Fredericksburg. Modern easy to use hookups. Gravel sites with about 10 feet of grass between each site. Trees have been planted at every other site, but are still small and provide no shade. Very clean with crew that rakes and cleans the site as soon as vacated. Would have given a rating of 9, but the park financial policies rated a 4 from me, so overall it's about a 7. They charged the entire 4 day stay to my card when we made the reservation 1 day prior to arrival. When I questioned this, I was told that there are no refunds for cancellations within 48 hrs of arrival date and since we were less than 48 hours it was necessary to prepay the entire stay. In my 14 years of RVing I have never stayed at a park that required advance payment of the entire stay or that charged for the whole reservation period with no refund if less than 48 hours cancellation. This would be a great park if they would follow the usual financial standards of the RV industry. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Finally Fredericksburg has a new park that was designed and built by and for RV'ers. The owners went "all out" on the facilities and infrastructure. They continually (during our stay) asked us if there was anything further they could do in regard to our stay. As other campers completed their stays I watched as the staff made those sites ready for the next unit....they did everything including raking the site! This truly is a first class "operation" and yes.......we'll be back! We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This fairly new RV Park is great while visiting Fredericksburg. We stayed during Spring Break so the park was almost full. The Pool looked very clean, although we did not use it during our stay. The bathrooms were always clean and spotless, internet was spotty, roads were good (speed limit is strictly enforced), room for kids to play, gated dog run, close to town and not noisy at all. The only problem (layout design) is the cement patio is right next to the neighbors sewer connect. We will return as we stayed 4 nights in a motor home. They charge $8 extra if you check in before 2pm. We arrived at 12:45, our spot and dozens of others were available, but they wouldn't let us in without paying $8. We asked them if we could park somewhere for 1 1/4 hours but they said "they didn't have room". So we left, came back at 2pm and registered. On our way out of the office I mentioned that I would not be giving them a good rating. When I got to my site and started hooking up, the owner came and started yelling, actually screaming at me and told me to go to the office and get a refund. He said he didn't want anyone who wouldn't give a good review. I finally quieted him down and stayed(Note: to get him to calm down I ended up apologizing!). Note because this was a spring break weekend, all the parks in the area were full, otherwise I would have left. Two days latter when we were getting ready to leave, he did come back and apologize. This is a new campground which the owner has put a lot of time and money into. I understand the facilities are excellent although we did not use any of them. The sites are very spacious. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

I enjoyed the peaceful, quiet, and relaxed atmosphere at Quiet Creek. The park is just about 2 miles west of town. I found it to be very convenient to Fredericksburg and all the local attractions. It is very big rig friendly, easy to navigate(after seeing some of the other parks, it is more big rig than most)and the roads are paved. The site are crushed gravel that were level with more than ample space for a big rig. All the hook-ups were in the proper location. Water pressure was perfect, saw no power issues, and TV cable was strong . The dog park was excellent. There is a nice green space in the middle of the park with a play ground and room for other outdoor activities. The park is kept extremely clean and well manicured. The weaknesses of this is park includes sites are close, not so close that you are "slide to slide" but not as much space as most would like; all the facilities including dog walk, pool, bathrooms, showers, and laundry are an uphill walk; as like all parks, the wifi is weak; there is an "early check-in fee" if you arrive before 2pm which is something I have never seen before; and the staff is courteous but not overly friendly. This is a newly built park with many young trees planted which will take some time for them to grow and provide shade. All and all, a very nice park; however, I would not call it a resort. I would stay at Quiet Creek again without any hesitation. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
