Very nice park. Large shade trees at nearly every site. Very friendly and helpful management. Stayed for nine days here. Great WiFi, cable, walking distance to a Shell station mini-mart, and diner. Would stay here again. We camped at Texas Station in a Motorhome.
As what others have said, this is not a very level place. I got close but not completely level in one of their pull-through spots. If you have a satellite receiver, forget it...a lot of trees. VERY basic cable. A lot of potholes but management was very helpful. Frankly, I think it's overpriced but I was there one night and out of there. We camped at Texas Station in a Motorhome.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lot was easy to access and level. The park was in close proximity to stores but secluded atmosphere even though in town. It was secure with a pass code for entry. Would highly recommend this site when traveling through the area or if needing area for a reunion or reception as there was a nicely decorated large facility on grounds. We camped at Texas Station in a Travel Trailer.
Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $20.00
We called this park based on the review on this site. No one answered the phone and it went to voice mail. We decided to visit anyway. When we got to the park there was a gate with a security code pad as the review stated but there was no number posted to call for the code. We called the number listed on the site again and got voice mail again. Needless to say we did not stay at this park. We camped at Texas Station in a Motorhome.

Located 3 miles east of Hwy 84 & 36 on left side of Hwy 36, a self serve ice shack out front. Security gate with TEXAS STATION on top. Call Dean Smith for needed code to enter. This a pretty new campground with all sites pull-through and full hook-up. Most sites are under nice shade. In the planing stage are new showers/restrooms, and laundry. Shell gas station and Diner out front, and Super Wal-Mart 2 miles away. Dean is a great guy and will help your stay be a good one. The rate reflects monthly rate of $200. $70. weekly. Electric is extra. We camped at Texas Station in a Travel Trailer.
