We stay at this park almost every time we visit Austin, which is usually at least twice a year. Georgetown is a convenient location for us, and the town itself is quite nice. Sites are wide enough to easily park a tow vehicle next to an RV/trailor. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We enjoy visiting the San Gabriel Park near East View RV Ranch. We jog and ride our bikes along the miles of trail following the San Gabriel River. There are several playgrounds for children along the trail, as well as large fields for soccer, etc. In 2017 a multi-million dollar project is underway, which has a small section of the trail, a parking lot and river access in that area completely torn up. Other areas are still accessible.

Stayed here for two weeks while visiting family nearby and also the city of Austin. Great value for the location: worth driving 20-30 minutes to everything, to save about $20+ a night. The RV park was adequate. Had no problem getting to it without using toll roads. We're kind of unique. We have a dually truck, 40' fifth wheel, and a small SUV that we use to tow a flatbed trailer with two small motorcycles. The site we had from front to back just fit our fifth wheel, with a couple extra feet maybe. Luckily there was some width so we could park our truck and our SUV/trailer next to the fifth wheel. Once we did this though, there was no other "outdoor space." Our vehicles were right next to the hookups for our neighbors. You're not slide-to-slide here, but it's fairly close.

There was an area for extra parking, and if you got into it early enough in the evening, you could park an extra vehicle there. It was actually nice to have a gravel site so we could put out our outdoor rug when we only had one vehicle on our site.

No problems with dust even on the windy days. Hookups worked as intended. WiFi could be used to check email/some websites, with patience. Had 1 bar of AT&T LTE. Very quiet here; some highway noise only at night.

Didn't use the laundry/showers/etc., since we have our own, plus those facilities are a bit of a trek across a field. The more transient sites are in an outer row, so we had a nice, grassy overlook. No trees so I can imagine it gets quite toasty in the summer. They have some cute western decor around (but note, I'm pretty sure the barrels are NOT for your garbage folks - just walk it to the dumpster).

My favorite aspect of this RV park was how nice the owner lady was on the phone when taking my reservation. It's so rare sometimes to have a pleasant conversation where the person taking the reservation doesn't make you feel like you're wasting their time giving you their business. Kudos to this owner. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here for a week, so the $21 rate I posted is based on the weekly rate of $150 per week. This is a no frills park, that is works well for getting to Austin or Waco. The park was quiet, sitting about a mile off a highway, but there was no road noise. There are farms in the area, so you will hear roosters in the mornings. Most of the people are there long term, with a section set aside for daily and weekly tenants. The interior roads were fairly wide and the roads and sites were gravel. The hook-ups were easy to find and easy to connect. We found that the wi-fi wasn't that good and didn't work a lot of the time. We ended up using our hotspots most of the time. Antenna and satellite TV worked well, with the antenna getting stations from Austin and Waco. We would stay here again. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

The RV park was easy to find and navigate with a 36 foot fifth wheel all the way to my pull through site. This is a quiet park. They staff are very friendly and accomodating, but, I'm not sure why they needed my driver license number, my truck and camper plate numbers. The roads and sites are all gravel, but very well maintained and low dust. There are no trees, there is alot of dog walking aeea. Power was good, water psi ok, antenna tv received Waco and Austin channels. There were no junky old permanent rvers in the park, nice. We stayed here in mid February using PA discount. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in the overflow site, which was off to itself and had the best view of a beautiful pasture and countryside for miles and miles. The rest of the park was full, mostly with fifth wheels and travel trailers, with many long term occupants working there. Neatly maintained sites, although a little close together. Staff extremely helpful and efficient. Good community room and adjacent laundry room, great pet area with bags supplied for easy pickup. We would definitely stay here again. We spent three nights in a 44 ft. motorhome with slide-outs and a tow. The location is very convenient to Georgetown, Texas 130 (toll road) and I-35. Although it's only minutes from downtown Georgetown, East View feels quiet and rural. The amenities are limited--no pool or cable TV--but our pull-through site was easy in/easy out and overlooked a lush green pasture with rolling hills and valley in the distance. Our timing was perfect for the bluebonnets in the pasture and we a lovely view of them out our front window. Our site wasn't long enough to park the car behind the coach, but it was wide enough to open the slide-outs and still have room to park the car next to our RV. Sites are level, crushed granite so there is no mud or dust. The free WiFi worked well; our Verizon phones got an excellent signal and there was nothing to obstruct our satellite signal. The owners live on-site and are friendly, considerate and conscientious. Although there seem to be a number of long term/seasonal residents, their sites appeared reasonably neat and well-maintained. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

When we came to this camp it had a rating of 9, but I have no idea why. I would say it is barely adequate for a one or two night traveling stopover. It appears to be a cattle ranch that turned one hillside field into an RV parking lot with gravel roads and pads. Everything is on a hillside, so sites are not particularly level. There are few amenities, except WIFI, and a small laundry. The laundry was clean with 3 washer/dryer units, but one washer and one dryer did not work. The WIFI signal was strong, but the speed was abysmal. The manager lady was very friendly and assigned us to a site with a lovely view of a broad valley. Other than that, there is no service except access to a dumpster at the gate. Most of the camp seems to be permanent residents in older RVs, or traveling workers. The camp is very quiet except the soft, low sounds of cows mooing all day and night. We stayed at East View Ranch in a 37' rig, and had barely enough room to park our tow vehicle. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice little park for a couple of days stay. Very clean and nice views to the east. No shade trees in most sites. This is not a problem because all spaces are facing east so the late afternoon sun isn't a problem. Level pads with crushed sand stone rock. All utilities are conveniently located....but no cable. If you have satellite TV or a converter with a digital TV, no problems getting TV. Only one bathroom with one shower but very clean and neat. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We would return if we are in the area again. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

There are mostly full time campers here as it is in a work area. All sites however, are in excellent condition and no garbage laying around. The owners are very nice people as is the office lady. We were able to stay in a site that allowed us to leave our tow trailer hooked up. Nice views and quiet. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We spent a week here while house hunting in the Georgetown area. It's a great base location on the east side of town. It is on the plains, there are no trees. The entire campground area is stone and the roads are crushed granite. They both keep road dust to a minimum. The owners live on site and maintain things very well. There are quite a few working campers but most of the big sites are transients. It is quiet and the view out the front of the bus was great. The field in front of the site was covered in Texas Bluebonnets. We will be back when we move here. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tough to review. Small, mostly semi permanent to permanent resident park on the east side of the toll way east of Georgetown. They try to keep a number of sights for daily, weekly, and big rigs. Gravel and crushed rock so dust is at a minimum. Small laundry and decent rec hall. Two items to mention that I rated the park down for is that the north row of pull thrus are graded on down slope so sewer dumps uphill, which is a concern. Two, the speed limit. While advertised as enforced, it is actually not. Posted as 7 but is usually 20 mph. We will probably not return. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. We arrived here just as the office was closing. The hostess was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. We were the last ones in for the night, so she gave us site one, a large pull through with full hook ups that was perfect for an overnight stay. Nothing bad to say about this facility. It was clean and well maintained. Quiet. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Quiet country park, lovely view out the front of coach shows green fields, cows and countryside. All gravel sites, large and with good placement of utilities. Good Wi-Fi and OTA digital TV channels. Easy access to Georgetown and Round Rock. They were kind to let us have a late departure at no charge. We will return! We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Very nice management staff - very helpful when needed. Super easy access to Georgetown and Austin, but it's really quiet and off the beaten path and has more of a country feel to it. Great security with many cameras on site. The wide open views of countryside are fantastic. Didn't use showers, restrooms, or clubhouse, but the Wi-Fi was good. Stayed 3 weeks with them (price reflects weekly rate), and will be back in the spring for some local fishing. They're even going to make covered (as in permanent structure cover) parking over many of the sites - the ones that exist already are fantastic (we looked, but they're occupied). This will be fantastic for summer camping - no trees, but cover and great ventilation - and he's even got plans for satellite for the covered sites that are coming! We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

This is by far the best RV park in this area and one of the better I have visited in my ten years of RVing The sites are large and level, big rig friendly with pull-throughs. The owners are on site and can be found working and keeping the Ranch clean and tidy. Nice lounge and restroom facilities. Pet friendly as well. Located right off the I-30 toll road and I-35, a short easy drive to the Ranch. All the sites have an awesome view of the Texas rolling hills. We spent six weeks here visiting our son in Round Rock, and found it to be a great location for the short day trips we made to San Antonio, Canyon Lake, Austin, Fredericksburg, Waco and Fort Hood. The owners are friendly and have an awesome staff. The price is hard to beat too. The price I quoted was a monthly rate plus elec. They have Wi-Fi and the signal was excellent from our space. A very nice service is you can receive your mail here too (no need for PO general delivery). This is our third visit over the past five years and it keeps getting better. We'll be back. We camped at East View RV Ranch in a Motorhome.
