This is the best campground we have ever stayed at and this includes Cherry Hill near DC! Amazing! First of all we travel with three dogs and we were welcomed here. It's not usually a problem, but you never know. The sites are pristine and so spacious. There is literally a lot OF GRASS in between every two spaces as well as a nice roomy patch of grass in between every two spaces on the backside as well. We had a Pergola, fire pit, two glider rockers, a convenience table between the gliders and a picnic table! The sites are mostly level, the hookups were as immaculate as the rest of the park. There's a river to peruse, swimming pool, nice little park for kiddos, cabins....etc., and so on. This is a fabulous oasis! Trees....come see. I can't imagine anyone would not like it. If you stop, turn right at the exit and stop by Lum's for barbeque. Oh my. So good! Fantastic! Thank you and I hope we get to return sometime!! We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Lum's! We are only passing through, but we did manage to find Lum's. Best of the best as far as barbeque goes! We eat a lot of it and this is fantastic!

All employees were very polite. Showed us to our site and help park so all services would reach. Sites are level and there are several large trees throughout the park. Very nice pull-through sites for big rigs. Did not use any facilities but the grounds were very clean and well kept. Employees are constantly seen on site in golf carts and always helpful. Would definitely return. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice campground. They have some nice long pull thru sites that allow big rigs to stay hooked up. They have 50 Amp FHU available. The park is older but clean and tidy. ATT & Verizon work well. Plenty of clear sky for satellite set up. Restrooms are dated but clean. No train or Hwy noise. WiFi was free and worked well. Very well laid out spacious pull thru sites. On the bank of the River. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park could use some upgrading on landscaping. WIFI was not the best - cable good. Disappointed that their website offers discounts for most clubs, military, seniors, etc. None were mentioned to us when we checked in - most Campgrounds make mention which is a good idea. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park was ok for an overnight, everybody was friendly. Thought the price was a little high for what you get, but it was to warm to boondock as originally planned (at least for us). Wifi was spotty, cell service with Verizon was good. We would probably try somewhere else if we pass through again since it was a fairly non-descript park. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is our Winter home, so the reader can assume some bias, but also some experience after a couple of years. This is a very nice park in a special little town. My wife and I are one of about four families that are seasonal, then there are also eight rv's belonging to local workers. The rest of the park turns over almost every night. There are no permanent residents.
All units are currently licensed and roadworthy, no skirting, no decks.
The park is very well managed and closely watched, maintenance is a constant. There are resident managers as well as two couples that are work campers. The bathrooms are cleaned every day as is the pool. There is a minimal playground for kids, and, of course, the river borders the park.
In review I noticed a complaint about the river "Not being there". This is the Edwards Plateau in West Texas all the rivers are like that. I can tell you that today it is here and quite pretty. There was also a complaint about "deer poop". Out here that is like complaining about sand at the beach. Deer hunting is an industry here. Deer are feed by automatic feeders on every ranch all year long. Around here deer poop is good. Also "Junction is a dry little town with nothing happening". Junction is a town of 2,200pop and 16 churches, by my count. They like it dry, so do we.
Everyone with large DP's or 5th Wheels should make a reservation. All campsites are not uniform. There will probably always be space for a truck-camper but large units should call.
There is lots of green space and every site is roomy. The sites are set randomly which gives the illusion of even more space. All large sites have a pergola and lawn furniture. All sites have a picnic table, fire ring and grill. The park is gated and key pad controlled, if you don't have a reservation and the park is full there is an overflow section with water and power.
Be warned the park fills almost every night!

2012, 32' CLASS "A", on Ford F-53, Towing Ford Ranger. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a great jumping off place for the "Hill Country". Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Comfort, Mason, and Menard are all easy day trips of about an hour. Junction is a town worth checking out. The people are infectiously welcoming.
Be sure to try barbecue at LUM'S, only the best in Texas. Also Mexican-American food (not too hot) at LA FAMILIA. Excellent!

This is one of our favorite parks. Very nice people manage the park, which is part of the reason we like to stay here. The other reason is the park is very well maintained. Very easy in and out for any size rig. All the services work fine. It is near the freeway but no noise, it is a quite park. The sites are nice some have patios. This is mostly an overnight park, however we have found over the years more people are staying longer. We use this park as a base for visiting the Hill country. We will continue to make this a must stop on our trips. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We made reservations but arrived late. A gentleman was waiting to open the gate and guide us to our site. A really nice touch. Our site was level and everything worked well except many of the cable stations came in fuzzy. The bathrooms were clean and warm despite freezing temperatures. The shower stalls were a little on the small side but not uncomfortable. We would stay again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Only stayed a night. Most sites included canopy over provided lawn chairs with picnic table and in most places a charcoal grill. Enjoyed a nice walk along the river, area of grass all around. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice staff. Park right on river. Just far enough from I-10 to not hear the freeway. Pricey but pretty park. Verizon on 1x. Cable fuzzy on a few local channels. In spite of this, we would stay again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is the second time we have stayed at this park while crossing Texas. Check in was easy and we were guided to our site. A tree interfered with our satellite but the cable was fine. There is easy access to the river and the pet area was good. We were only here one night each time. Navigating the campground was easy. Our cell access was marginal. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We did a one night stopover on our way from Houston to Tucson. Very tidy campground with plenty of space between sites. Our site had a nice covered patio. The river makes an interesting walk with lots of birds. WiFi was pretty good but wireless was 1X on Verizon. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Pilot Travel Center at the I-10 exit for easy fueling before or after stay.

Excellent RV park! Sites are generously spaced & level gravel. Many are big rig suitable. Interior roads are packed dirt/gravel and wide enough to make sites easy in/out. Cable TV worked well although many sites are satellite friendly too. Amenities include river side sites (rafting is popular in summer I hear), nice laundry, gated entry, pool, and W/E overflow sites for late arrivals. Horrible cell service: ATT worked for voice calls but got no data signal & Verizon couldn't connect for data either. Thankfully, the park wifi worked pretty well. Very friendly staff. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice RV park, with many shade trees, nice spacing, and a pleasant surrounding area...and right near the river! Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but it started off with a minor issue...the power pedestal, according to my tester, was wired incorrectly. I complained, they first reacted poorly (someone was just there yesterday!), but eventually moved us to another site. Given that this was Labor Day weekend and the park was full, they definitely worked hard to ensure we were happy with our site, so I can say that they were quite accommodating. Both sites were mostly level. We enjoyed walking around the perimeter of the park, but did not partake of any of their other amenities. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.
